Tru,
Please clear your driveway and ship the snow to Kristen so her kids can have some to play in. Just leave the rocks alone as they may be off spring of Turk's rock.

Turk's offspring in TEXAS?? Horrors!!!
Hey, I just noticed the ad to the left of the posts; It says "Aluminum CSX 4000 series cobra for sale". Couldn't we just do an "all cobra fund drive" for the ripped off guy (on the other thread) and give it to him? Turk can organize this one, just like the other drive (since he did such a grand job on that one)
and then all will be alright?? hmm. Dontcha think that's a great idea??? huh??
Looks like Cobra weather today! bit nippy.... Last Saturday was great! My hands were a wee bit chilly, but my toes were toasty warm! Need to get some of that engine heat up to my hands. That's probably what a "heater" does. Right???
I have 42 coming for a "seated dinner" tomorrow night. And here I sit, playing with my playmates on CC.
gotta go!!

Okay Kristen, that was low. I mean it's bad enough to have to wait for good weather, but reminding me that you are out having fun while I shovel the white stuff ( no "S" word here ). Just for that, make it 11,042, all of ClubCobra will be arriving as well. LOL
What are we having?
Do you have a room in your house that will allow 42 people ( let alone 11,042 ) to sit?
I have Turk's offspring on 800 feet of my driveway, that gets plowed.
Can we get a chat room?

Ok Tru, now that you have invited us all to Kristen's and she has accepted, when do we go? Also you can drive your Cobra down there if you shovel fast and then drive fast to get out before it covers the ground again. See, didn't use the S word. This could turn into an all time record for largest dinner.

Well, that certainly didn't work.
Ron, are you saying I should drive between the flakes as they drop in my car????? What about the blue colored driver and passenger as they cling to the 30 degree weather?? I didn't put a heater in.
I don't think I can make Saturday as it would take me all of two days to get to Kristen's house. And, she hasn't even told us what she's serving.
I don't have a room in my house that can house 42 people, that must be some place ya got there. LOL
Got to start using the "new reply" button so I can put all those cute smilies in my posts.

Tru,
Think of driving between the flakes as practicing for racing around the cones. I kept being told that if I drove fast in rain I would not get a spot on me. Obviously when I got caught in the down pour, I never drove fast enough.
What did you mean by "Well that certainly didn't work?"
Weather here is not nice either. Rain, cold, wind and much snow in mountains. Can't drive anyway as I have carb off the car and it is on it's way to L.A. Oh well, at least I can say part of my car made the trip down there.

tru- serving ham, brie, rolls, relish tray, cider, lots of drinks. That is my contribution. (besides the work of hosting) it's a covered dish thing. So all these old biddies will bring things like cold green bean casserole, etc. yuck. Now one good thing somebody is bringing are homemade, fresh tamales. They are to die for. yum. No turkey, so Edley might even show up....
I still don't have one of my trees decorated!!! hurry hurry!
oh, and if you use the "quick reply" area, (like I'm doing now) you can fake it with some smilies. colon & paragraph close is smilie, semi-colon paragraph close is wink.... for example: : )
(close together) would make a smilie.
; ) (close together) would make a wink. Haven't figured out any others....
Got to go work!!!

Kristen,
If I had offsprings in Texas you'd know it.
I stopped at The Panhandle. Didn't have a valid passport to venture into Texas.
Used to sneak into Amarillo once in a while for some wild times..

I don't think I was. They said they loved me and gave me 30% off!
"Luv u rong time" was her exact words......
Come to think of it, maybe I was and didn't even know it.
My ego is pretty well bruised now, some 30 years later.

Kristen,
Hate totell you this, but unless there is a setting in my computer that keeps them from displaying, all I see are the and other codes that you put in. Somewhere around here I have a whole page of them if you want them.
Ron
Edit: Must be my settings as I just stuck in a couple of codes and they display the characters.

hmmm Ron. Maybe they just show up on one's own computer to make the user feel good! I'd feel dumb thinking I'm posting smilies and winks using characters just to find out nobody else sees them but me!! Yes, in your reply they showed up here. Now we are getting dangerously close to talking computer talk, and you know that is not my expertise.....
Fred, you are sooo funny! C'mon back to Texas, Turk! you'd be welcome with "open arms" (now did the winking smilie show up???)

Kristen,
All three of your smilies showed up great in the last post. Did the ones that I sent in my last post before this telling you I just saw your codes show up to you as smilies or codes?
By the way, what did you mean by using the fast reply button? And if I can dig out the sheet of smilie codes would you want it?

The Oklahoma State Flower is mistletoe, which slowly but surely kills trees.
I have heard that the Louisiana State Flower is mildew, but I have not confirmed.
Hey, any of you adrenaline junkies are welcome at my house... I'm 50 miles north of the Red River and you can see my house from US 69, the main drag between Houston and Chicago.

Tru,
You have e-mail.
UT,
The California state flower is the Calif. Poppy which does nothing but grow. Not sure what the state bird is but I expect it will soon be replaced by the middle finger.
Kristen,
