6 to 12 inches of snow today, I do not think it will make any difference as RON, has locked it here.
Hey I got an idea, let's start another thread in the general forum... RICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What is wrong with this being in the lounge? Other than Mike is to young to be browsing around in here.
I spend quite a bit of time browsing the Lounge, so it is no big thing to me. Heck, I spend a lot of time in the testing area too. With a lot of luck and Ron(CW)s help I may live long enough to learn to use most of the features on this club.
Ron
Kristen, for crying out loud tell Mike how you beat him in post count or he will keep trying to come up with something to beat you at. How about snowballs at 15 paces.

Well, Ron, I think Pat's burnt about my comment in the "Dying" thread. Oh well.
Makes me sick that that poor man is waiting for 26 months to get a car.
So, on to cheese and rocks. I think Mike is going to have to generate a new entity to get to ventuer into the Lounge.
I am getting the weather blues. What can you do?

Tru,
Maybe this will cheer you up. After two day of nice sun, it is cloudy, sprinkling, and bitter cold with wind today. I don't even want to go into the garage. And we may have snow soon. The little mountians over by the dam, (7 Miles ) from here are covered and that wind comes down the canyon and right across the snow. So even if I had my carb back, I wouldn't be out putting it on.
That waiting 26 months for a car of any kind is ridiculous, and I don't care what anyone says. In the end, Shelby will be more hurt by that than the others as he is the person in the spotlight. It is a shame that any of those people are having to wait so long. I know that like any head of a company he does not personally make the cars, but in my opinion he is ultimately responsible to see that the ones ordered are made and in the time frame quoted. Some times things happen that are beyond anyone's control, but I think the main problem with Shelby is the middle management. To me this would be some what like ordering a Corvette from Turk, and then being told it will be here some day. Not Turk's fault as he is the dealer and goes by what those he orders from says. Then to get the Corvette you have to go to the head of General Motors. Probably not a good example, but the way I see it.

hey, Ron, Tru:
I think in this thread we could have a more civilized discussion on the "dying" thread. I think we all agree it is beyond sad, pathetic, that the guy (and all those others) don't have their car. For whatever reason.
Ron, your comments are identical to mine. Don't need to repost what you have already said....
Our weather seems to be pretty similar, too. Yesterday was a warm, almost muggy 71*. Today,,, well, it's quite cold, quite windy, drizzly rain that looks like it could turn into sleet at any time.... Don't have your mountains, but oh well, seems like the same conditions....
Been getting a little scrapbooking done. Set aside the day; but my buddies all left by noon. Sugah daddy took the kids to lunch and then to a movie, so I'd have some "down time". boy, he's a good guy, and ya'll could all take an example from him.
Even took me to a "real" restaurant and movie last night!!
Wore real slacks and nice shoes! Not jeans and tennies! (my usual attire)
Kids go back to school tomorrow. A buddy from high school is coming over to visit for the while, and I guess I ought to go get some of the Christmas decorations down! It'll be ground hog's day before I get these 3 trees down!
hmm. Ya'll heard plenty from me putting it up; might as well hear plenty while taking it down....
And, now that this is "in the lounge" might as well divulge my little secret.... "slept with the boss" to get my post count up! I know, I know, really baaadddd..... but somebody had to do it, and I just couldn't let Mike be the one......
seeya later, alleygator!!!
hehe

I am kinda sorry Pats upset at my comment, but I have no idea who some of these people are and for that reason alone, I do not know if someone is just saying things or if they are legit. I hope he gets over it.
Well, I have been watching Stargate SG-1. Kind of gotten to the point where I watch TV once a day ( boy is that bad ).
Kristen, I am not sure I understand everything that went on. I am so bad at cryptic language.
So, when do we all get together???
Ron, not sure your carb will be there if we set a date
What on earth ( or any other planet ) are you having done??? I mena I am about to go to the hot rod shop and get you one.
Burp! Sorry...must have been lunch.

sugah daddy's visa, and I bet he'll say "NO".
sorry, charlie! He did ask today when we were going shopping. I said, not today, not tomorrow not Friday, but definitely next week take a look at Sears, get a catalog, and start marking. So.... I'll be looking you up next week when I have my catalog, checking on page numbers, etc. Hey, that reminds me. Where did my "tool" thread go?? Need to revive it next week!!!

Good God, she's reverted back to the Queen of the lounge ( I am not talking Boy George ).
Well, Cobra Goddess, why are you going to buy tools if you have no intention of using them? Orrrrrrrrrrrr is this a new venture?

a get together? Sounds cool! Lets see,,,, Northern California, Texas, Michigan, Pennsylvania (mike- tho he's at school, can't speak up). hmmmm. Clay, near mike, big foot, where is he? Rick, who else jumped in here regularly???
Sounds like Colorado might be a good meeting ground. What's above Colorado? Wyoming? dunno!!!

Darn Dail up. It is slow as I am.
Tru,
My carb will be here one way or the other and soon. I told Bill that I am tired of the wait crap and to get on the phone and get it back. I will call tomorrow morning and find out just what the devil is going on. Lousy weather has me in a sour mood. I watch SG-1 all the time. One of my favorite shows. That and the history channels. As for the Carb, I am having a new throttle body put on it and all the anti siphon stuff installed and then they are supposed to wet run it and set it so all I have to do is minor air/fuel tweaks for the area when I get it. It doesn't use the choke so I am having a throttle body like the one in the picture on the home page of the club put on. Better air flow and I need the other 5 horsepower.
Kristen,
You don't need a tool thread to decide what to get. Just let me order it and have it sent to you. Is COD ok???

SG-1 is a great series but they'll have to go a long way to top Farscape. Sad to hear Mcgiver is going to be reducing his presence but, on the plus side, Ben Bowder is supposed to be joining SG-1.
Now if they could just come up with an SG-1/Farscape combo I think they'd have something.
Even my wife likes the shows so it can't be all bad.
