Don't know that show.... what channel?
Wasn't there a movie like 15 years ago called Stargate? About passing thru some medallion in the wall and space travelling?
hmmm.

Don,
I like both series, but I really don't think the SG-1 Atlantis is as good as the SG-1. Kind of like taking MASH and then changing Hawkeye and the others around to me. Farscape was a must for me too. I am not sure about the new Battlestar Gallaticia series though.

Now you spoiled it. Kristen hadn't realized that her post count had dropped. I lost about 80 again. Hey, Kristen, who do I have to sl--p with to get my 80 back??

Kristen

Kristen:
Yes, the SG-1 series on the Sci-Fi channel is a continuation of the movie. Originally hosted on HBO but then switched to Sci-Fi.
Ron:
I agree with you assesment of Atlantis. I haven't been able to really get behind it. Characters don't seem to have the charisma that the SG-1 cast has.
Waiting on Battle Star Galactica. Memories of the original series tend to soften after this much time and my life was completely different then so the impact of the new series may be less.

Don,
I think the SG-1 series is better than the movie just as I felt the same about MASH. I love the guy that plays Jack OnIel. typical military. I don't know what you are talking about so lets shoot it. Also the guy that plays Daniel Jackson is great at that part.
I hope the Battlestar Gallactia show is good and am looking forward to see it return. The only thing so far that I have seen that I didn't think was good, is their carrying on the names of Starbuck, and others with women playing the parts. I think a name change would be good. Kind of like replacing Allen Alda as Hawkeye in MASH with (dare I say this), Kristen and calling her Hawkey. Just wouldn't fit.

Kristen,
Hate to say this but I have to agree. You would most likely make a great Major Hot Lips. You already have the power trip down since becoming a trainee moderator.
Ron
Poor Mike. He has school and can't get in here and help us with controlling you.

Yep, that's my little brother. My ex was friends w/ Ms. Steele. Just be careful using the words "Turk" and "up" in the same sentence.

Mike,
Quick, when you get home, start posting. Kristen had to go do some things and won't be on the site for awhile. Here is your chance.

Why has it gotten so cold out?
Anyone else notice that this thread took a political turn since it was moved to the lounge?

My wife has two cats. A little skinny one and a big fat one. I
picked them up went upstairs and held them over the railing
which over looks the living room. I dropped them simultaneously
and one landed on the sofa and stayed there, the other hit the
floor then ran downstairs. I thought this was odd so I decided to
drive into town. On the way into town I noticed 9 cows in a field
but 7 were lying down and 2 were standing up, it was sunny but
cold out. I thought this was even weirder yet. On the return trip
I now noticed all 9 were laying down and concluded that all cows
are very lazy. When I returned home both cats were now
downstairs. Sometimes I think I will go insane from the
randomness of it all.
Good Luck,
Tony Fischer
