I am so glad to see Mike is passing his English class.
Mc this and Mc that, Why is it McDonalds can't get past the Mc thing.
Looks like ice rain tonight, that's where is rains and freezes as it collects on things like trees, roads and everything else. Can't drive on it, can't blow it, plow it or shovel it. Yuck.
Must be nice to have the kind of money Kristen has. You go girl!

Earl, I am a bitter old bastrich.
You have grandkids to play with today... all I have to look forward to is a meeting with Sweetness's probation officer 2 hours drive from here. Yeah, she missed her DWI meet with him and I have to spread oil on the waters. Or she goes to jail. And has to drop out of college.
OK, your granddaughter for- Sweetness, Gunrack (paid for!) and some boot.
I wait calmly for a counteroffer.
Yeah. I know.
Now you know why I am a bitter old bastrich.

I said passing English, I did not say he was a stellar child of AAA caliber.
You can talk about the weather all you want. I don't care any more. I am going to spread cheese on a cracker and watch the icey rocks.
No topic here, just cheese rocks and an occational teacher

Wow,
Sun is out right now and it is up to almost 48 degrees. Some dark and rain earlier but looking better now. I actually got out in the garage and went over the Torino Cobra with Wet Paint and got the sticky exhaust fumes off of it. Now I need to do the replica and then go over them both once more. I did the glass and chrome all while Iwas at it. Amazing at just how sticky the exhaust fumes can get when they settle on a car. First day in a month that it has been nice enough to get out and do anything.
Edit: Wow, sun is out and it is 53 and I went out and did the replica and now have the towels in the washer. Talk about black from that exhaust. But the next trip over them will be faster and make them shine better. No I am not becoming a waxer. That shows up the rock chips to much. People are out today like rats out of a hole enjoying this break in weather.

All 3 trees are undecorated, and stored. What a job. 10 boxes (rubbermaid) of decorations. The yard decorator dude has not come and gotten his lights. At least we can unplug them!
The house is almost back to "normal". Still messy, but working on it. Scrapbooking all day tomorrow. Earned it yesterday and today! Every Wednesday is scrapbook day. Spent $300. at grocery store today. Haven't been in a while. Kids are looking at the food like they're crazed. Hubby is salivating over ribs tonight. (not mine )
bah hum bug for another 11 months. Thank you Jesus! No pun intended.... I'm going on a scrapbooking retreat this weekend. Nothing but women and scrapbooking from 12 noon Friday til 6 pm Sunday. Whoo hooo! I'm sure my pages will look really nice and square after a couple of glasses of wine at 2 am!!!
uh oh. guilt here. Littlest Cobra girl just said, you should like Christmas cuz it's Jesus's birthday. You don't like it cuz of the presents.... Really, it's the decorating, too! bah hum bug.
Beautiful day today. No cobra tho', as couldn't put all those groceries in the trunk! As it is the mommymobile was loaded!
Pepe goes off to Keith Craft on Thursday, for that uh, ta-tranny-ta work. Hopefully. Wonder who else's baby is wintering at KC? Hope I get it back before Texas CC meet in March! haha.
Glad you had a few moments break in the rain, Ron. California mudslides look awful. All I have to worry about here is the occasional tornado. Guess I'd take that over floods, mudslides, forest fires, and whatever else you poor californians are having to take! Not to mention the earthquakes, and that fault thing.
We'll gotta start peeling potatahs. Nothing better than potatahs and ribs! yumm yumm! I have a little tv I watch while cooking. Helps a lot..... Not much action on my wheel/tire thread. Ya'll been over there yet? Suggestions? Hopefully next week (after plumber comes) I can get to Sears and start looking around. This is the best part of Christmas. MY turn.....

Gasman,
The mud slides definately did happen and not just on the coast highway. That highway has been a problem along the coast for many years as the land keeps shifting. A beautiful drive, but they have installed huge steel nets in many places to catch the rocks to keep them from knocking cars into the ocean. Topanga Canyon is famous for it's slides and they had a huge boulder about the size of a small pick up right in the middle of it getting ready to blast it into smaller pieces to remove. Just remember, when driving along the coast highway, and especially near Carmel and that area, drive fast and avoid the rolling rocks.
