Tru,

Sunny here today and the only day we have had for a week without rain. Forecast is for more rain tomorrow and way into next week, so I had to mow my yards and is that thick, wet, grass ever heavy. All I did was the yards too. That upper lot and driveway can just wait as I am really tired.

Ron, you should be watching or should have watched the season finally of SG-1.

Lame. It was lame.

Well, I am happy to say that I am down to one car to fix.

Don't know if it made it to the 80's today but it didn't matter -
it rained all day and is still raining at 9:30 pm. Just hope it is
nice tomorrow so I can drive the Cobra after a 2 month layoff
to let my new knee recover enough to drive. No automatic here
so I need that left leg to work to shift. Drove my pickup ok that
question was answered. Come on sunshine!

Tru,

I did watch the season final of Stargate 1 and I was really dissappointed with it. I think they must be getting ready to have a whole new bunch next year and ruin the show.

Edley,

The themperature hasn't been cold here, just a lot of rain. Yesterday would have been a great day for driving, but I had to get this hay field I call a lawn mowed.

HI Cobra,

I haven't driven either of my cars for about 5 months now. Every time we have nice weather I have to get all the mowing done and then by tyhe time I get caught up to where I have free time for fun it starts raining again. I did start the 69 about 2 months ago and run the exhaust tubes out the door so I could run it until it was good and warm.

I think you got it right Ron, they're gonna put in a new bunch and make it stupid.

I am waiting for the damn roads to dry. Snow has been melting for over a week and it is gonna get to 60...maybe.

I see Kristen was at some meeting in TX. Hey if you drop by.

Well, have a happy and safe holiday.

Tru,

Hope that your weather continues to warm up and maybe one of these days you can get the Cobra out. I am attaching a picture for all of you snow lovers, to warn you to be careful once you get to drive again. This also appies to little Mike when he gets a drivers license.

Tru,

If you watch the final of Stargate 1 again, please explain to me what really happened. If I am here now and go into the past, how can I still be here too? I think they are about ready to ruin the show. Bsttle Star Galactia (spelling), has actually been betterthan I expected it to be.

By the way, Happy Easter. Hope it is snow free and arm for you.

My DVR cut off the last couple of minutes of the SG1 season ender. The last thing I saw was the four of them watching the tape again and the Col O'neil telling Carter she had some packing to do.
What the heck was going on?

As I understand it, they are in a slighly altered reality.

O'Neill is waiting on Carter to pack her things to go fishing, with the rest, at his cabin. The hint is that in episode 17, they are fishing , but they know there is NO fish. In this episode, they say there are no fish, then one jumps out of the water. Thus the time line has been altered, but not enough to screw up the show.

I looked at eight as the end of the show. SelMac is dead. The good doctor Janet died at the end of seven. Hammond is gone. The replicators are gone. Ahnubis is finally gone.

The best one is Daniel keeps dieing and coming back. I think he has been killed more times than any cat.

And, The biggest reason is, there has not been single cobra in any epsiode ( at least I do not think so ).

Tru,

I think you have pretty well summed it up. I did see a short blurb about watch for the new crew on Stargate 1 on something, so maybe they are going to resurrect it with another bunch. Hope not as it just won't be the same.

good evening, everybody. I'm SURE y'all have been missing me. I'm sure of it.....
Busy week last week. And of course the week before with Florida and Austin.
So. Earl. sorry I didn't look you up when I was in Orlando. I had NO IDEA I would be so unbelievably tied up. Breakfast with 'chef mickey' to fireworks at the different parks. Wow. I was beat. Got home on thursday about 5:30 (delays, of course), and believe it or not I was on the road to Austin at 7 pm. Made the drive just fine, and got there at 10:15 or so. This last week was full of that little project I created for myself, and in 2 days of school uniform resale I made $1200 for the school. And, I even got rid of some uniforms that don't fit, and got some for the kids that are 'gently worn' but do fit! Yea!!! That was my goal.... I spend a small fortune on uniforms, and they are outgrown before the kids wear them out. Now back to the scrapbooking....

The suitcases from Florida are STILL on the floor of the laundry room. UGH. Tomorrow. Yesterday we dyed Easter eggs!! and all that stuff. I'm glad this next week is a more 'normal' week in our house. Just piano, scouts, baseball, ballet, soccer.....

I posted a new thread in the Texas forum titled "sold!", I have a few pics from the Texas meet there, and of course they are in the gallery too.

Seeya!! Have a great week, and I'll be around for awhile....
Kristen

Kristen,

Good to have you back with us again. That sounds like one of those vacations that you have to come home to rest up from. Glad that you had a good time and very happy to have you back. Young Mike needs some Motherly guidance lately.

Tru and Ron:
Thanks for the information.
As to next season I understand that Ben Bowder (sp) of Farscape is supposed to be integrated into the cast.

Don,

I hope thay don't mess it up. I really need some serious shows to watch now that MASH is gone. Also I miss Home Improvements but still watch the re-runs. And then there is that great all time family show, Married With Children.
