What has happened to Little Mike lately? I haven't seen many posts from him since Kristen went on her Sabbtical. The sun must have finally came out back there and he is out looking at it.

A trip like that and you know she will have a bunch of scrap-book work to do.
I have decided to call SG-1 an eight season series. You just know they are going to milk nine and ten and then kill it.
I was all reved for a cobra spin on Wed, when they said rain. What is it with all of this...this...weather?
Got to go back to work, Social Security is depending on me.

Tru,
Same here. I was thinking I would take one of the cars out for a drive today, and it is raining again. Oh well, we had one day yesterday with no rain. Forecast seems to change hourly so I can't depend on it. Hope once the car show is over the first week of next month the weather will get nice again.

Mike,
I was getting worried about you as I haven't seen you posting much lately. Weather here is still unsettled is the way the weather people now forecast it. Sun, rain, sun rain, about 4 times a day. Forecast changes hourly.
When you go to Carlisle, take some pictures of some of the rare cars. The big show here is on the 9th of next month and that is really pushing it for the weather. But maybe during the week they will have a couple of nice days. There are show and shines every day and some days two. And they did improve the cruise route finally. That should really be good this year.

Yahoo... the Tahoe is fixed!!!!
Only took a welding torch, several wrenchs and a four foot engine alignment tool.
Saved some money, I think.

Tru,
How did the engine get out of alignment? Must have really been getting on it to do all of that.
Mike,
Our coldest morning since December. It is down to 36 this morning but is supposed to be clear and sunny today so that would explain the big temperature drop. I saw a Cobra for you yesterday and you have your choice of the regular pedal drive or the chain drive.

Mike,
Just got back from a 50 mile drive. It took me 20 minutes to get the darn Cobra started. I turned the switch and nothing. Knew the battery was good so looked at the Jacobs and it diagnosed ok. Started chasing voltage and had it at the starter but it wouldn't turn. I have a high torque starter with a built in solenoid and I had heard that sometimes if the car sits a long time during wet weather, the starter or solenoid can get kind of hung. So I got out my highest tech tool, a hammer, and tapped it two times lightly and it turned right over. I am not going to let it set for 5 months any more without at least starting it. Then I had turned the electric fuel pump off while I was checking voltages so it wouldn't be pumping, and forgot to turn it on. I can make it about 30 feet with what is in the carb. So I then turned the pump on and immediately flooded it. Not used to this new carb yet and it doesn't take much pumping to really pour the fuel in. Then I went out and really enjoyed this weather and it is supposed to be the same tomorrow. I need to mow, but that is why the car set so long. When we had nice weather I spent it all working on the yards and then on the day I was going to drive, it would start raining again.

ya know, it's all about priorities. yup. priorities. Scrapbooked for 4+ hours yesterday. Did I get my 'family' books done? nooooo. But the cobra book is caught up to last weekend in Austin!! whoohoooooooo!!!!!
Kinda quiet around here. Ya'll working?
Tru- Starting to get a thaw up there? It's after Easter......
Ron- sooo glad you got out for a drive yesterday. I'll be heading out Saturday for the Dallas's group lunch. About 45 minutes away; over by DFW airport or so, a bit north.
Mike- where you been, boy??? You haven't been posting so much lately. Spring thaw got you outside, too?
Have a great day, guys. I'm gonna scrapbook just a little bit more today.....
Kristen

Weather Report For March 31, 2005:
Sunny, light breeze. High in low 70s. Do I mow and spend a miserable day or go driving? Next week is the start of the car show week. Decisions, Decisions!!!

Finally,
Got that upper lot mowed. What a job. Grass and weeds so high in places I almost lost the lawn mower. And now the lawns need mowing as they look like crap with all that freshly mowed. But I am through mowing for the day and just intend to enjoy this beautiful weather. A Diet Pepsi and sit out in the back yard for a while with the dogs.

Hey, just the idea of being able to turn a wrench without freezing my finger off is good enough.
It is amazing what that alignment tool can do...besides align an engine. Same with the torch.
Earl, you might want to leave the pink thingy alone.
Hoping for some drying. I want to take the cobra out so bad, I am about to get a trailer just to get it to a dry road.
Yeah, it's drying.

Tru,
You will soon have some good weather so you can get the Cobra out. After all, Spring is here. Just don't forget to take the snow tires off.
Mike,
Right now I would be happy to see a space ship land in that lot and kill all the grass and weeds permanently. I am to old for this kind of work. And besides that, I have always been lazy.
