Earl,
Practicing watching the lights for when you get your Cobra going I guess. That light stand should be right in the center of a 6 way intersection. Just think of the great pictures and language you would hear.
Ron
By the way, we have a weekend coming up soon. Is this going to be a work on the Cobra one or just do a little and enjoy the rest? Maybe Kristen would be willing to come down and help out with all of her free time.

I am sooo sad. My scrapbooking buddy got a job. Started Monday. What to do today, what to do???
Might get more 'done' scrapbooking by myself.... but not as much fun.

Ron,
I try to spend a little time every day doing something. As far as the weekend goes I'm not sure. This weekend is BCR and also since Friday is the 15th it usually is get away weekend so my wife can relax from all the tax returns spinning in her head. But believe me now that the body is sitting there I will work on the frame prep every chance I get..............Earl

Gee Kristen,
I really feel for you.I have spent 11 hours the past two days mowing and cleaning up and it started raining just as I finished, so now I have it all to do over again when the weather gets nice.
If you want a break from scrap booking, you are welcome to come out here and use one of the mowers.
When does all of your travel start for the Texas meets and such? You need to get a laptop so you can keep us informed of how things are going. We miss you when you are not posting on this thread.

I have a laptop. Sitting there collecting dust. Guess I could zap it, reload all the junk, and take it with me.....
The next 'travel' event is Shelby mid-america in Tulsa, second weekend in June. A while away.
I think I'll pass on the mowing thing. Not my department. Now you could come HERE and do about 6 loads of laundry!! (besides the dishes, beds, cleaning, etc....)

Kristen,
Thanks for bringing up the laundry. I have about two loads from dirty clothes that I dumped into the outside basket yesterday and I had forgotten all about them. Now I have to get up and get them out into the washer after while.
I did kill two snakes with the weed eater yesterday. Small ones and not sure what they were as the weed eater pretty well chopped them up, but I have a feeling one of them was a rattler. I hate snakes worse than about anything. And even worse, that means there is a nest around here somewhere.

hehehe....everytime I hear a snake story, my mind flashes back to early college years....
I went back home to northeastern KY for the weekend to hang out and visit the family. One of my old high school buddies wanted to go fishing, so we went to Grayson Lake and looked for a spot.
While driving down one of the lake roads, my buddy spots a snake sunning on the pavement. Just a big black snake....nothing spectacular. It was laying in the opposite lane that we were in....
Jason proceeded to pass it and then make a 180.....He told me how bad he hated snakes......and drove up to it. While watching in his mirror, he ran over the snake with his front tires (were were in a full size Dodge truck) and then stopped when the left rear tire was sitting directly on the snake.
Now here's where it gets funny. He thinks in his head that if he powerbrakes it while on the snake, it's just gonna basically unwrap the snake right there on the road. So he puts his left foot on the brake....right on the gas....and presses down a little bit. His plan backfired, and the snake went around with the tire and was slung right up in the driver's window....
I have never heard a grown man scream like a little girl....I was laughing so hard I almost peed on myself.....
