Mike,
Sorry that I forgot to send you my e-mail address. Here it is.
ronniewidener@sbcglobal.net
It is still raining here this morning and I am getting tired of it. I really wanted to get outside and do a few things today. Hope the weather is nice for Kristen's car show.

Mike,
I would like a combination of all of them and anything that shows any of the historic places and things. Also wouldn't mind a couple of pictures of the Ghosts they show on the History Channel when they do shows about Gettyburg.

Good morning all......it was "GREAT" to be able to sleep in "MY OWN" bed last night....and I slept pretty good too. Still gotta work out the pain medication times so I don't wake up in too much pain to get up. I just finished catching up on reading this thread...took me a while cause I keep dozing between sentences. And I have to be careful not to rest my hand on the mouse or no telling where it will end up when I suddenly snooze.....
Got more "bad" news yestrday when I got home from the hospital but I am "NOT" going to let it ruin my hospital release!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (will fill you guys in later)
GTG for now........Earl

Earl,
It is so good to have you back. You have been missed around here. I can not imagine what you have been through.
As for the dog thing:
Look I want to make one thing crystal clear hear. I love dogs, period. Im fact we are getting a new Minerature snouser (sp) in about eight weeks. He was born on 5-2-5 and the kids have named him all ready. I have always had a dog and they are truly mans best friend.
That being said I like food to. I just do not like squash. Ok big deal.
What we have is a crazy dog that the owner could care less about helping. She has the means to stop the barking but won't. Yes call her psycho, if the shoe fits. Why should the dog be punished if the owner is the problem? That is a very good question. The only answer I could come up with is that to my knowledge no one make a transponder for stupid people. The way Ron and I are going about this is the most human way to stop the barking dog. It does not hurt the dog at all, so we are told. It is a training device used by professionals and they are for the most part very expensive for what they are.
It is far less expensive to kill the dog. We have both chosen NOT to do that, but to put up with the constant barking until we can solve the issue in an adult manner.
Yes I love dogs to. But if you want to know what we are going through, go to Petsmart and buy a DVD that has a dog barking on it. Go home and put it in your home stereo and trun the volume up as far as it will go and play it 24 HOURS a day. You will get the picture, and in short order.
I too would rather have a peacefull existance and be able to use my yard and enjoy it. Soon I will be able to do that and co exist with the still living neighbores dog.
Kristen:
Good luck at AER.

I agree 100% that the Barking from the Dog is a problem.
I also agree that the Dog is Not doing it out of SPITE.
The dogs "OWNER" is the problem....the dog is almost as much of a victim as you guys are, sometimes even more so.
I remember many times going to barking dog complaints and as a "Smart Ass" I would always get on the radio and tell the dispatcher that I would go have a talk with the dog and tell him to be quite. I would even tell them when clearing the call that I had spoke with the dog and he agreed to be quite. It use to piss the sgt.s' off and make the Lt.'s laugh. I do believe that one advantage to working a mid sized area is knowledge of the area as it helped many times solve the minor problems that can become annoyances!!!
It is ashamed thatit is "NOT COST EFFECTIVE" to have our public servants of today serve the public and help solve problems and not just "PUT A BANDAID" fix on them.
Goos luck to you 4RE KLR, Ron61, and anyone else with your "NEIGHBOR' problems......................Earl

Earl,
Great to have you back posting again. Be careful around that mouse. Those things can be un-perdictable. Want us to look for a mouse trainer for you?

Hey Earl,
Get a wireless keyboard and mouse and then put your monitor where you can see it and lay down and do your surfing and posting.

Mike,
You are supposed to buy two. That way you keep one on charge and use the other.

Back from AER. 9 + 1/2 hours of my time for nothing.
3 trophies in my car. None are mine. 'hey, Kristen, will you pick my trophy up if I win anything?? I gotta go......'
gee, thanks, guys, I think I'll just KEEP THEM and say they MINE!!!
parked next to a beautiful, original street 427. I Happen to like the guy, so, well..... I pegged 1st and 2nd right on, and figured third was a toss up, including me in that toss up. Well, I got tossed and didn't win.... but the car that got it LOOKS JUST LIKE MY CAR!!! go figure....
gotta go.... hubby and hoodlums and little cobra girls will be home soon. Just thought ya'll would like to share in my disappointment. Again.
have a great mother's day, all you great guys out there.... Mike, give your mama a hug and kiss, it does make her day...
Kristen

Kristen....9 1/2 hours for NUTHIN? I would gladly babysit a Cobra that was mine while drooling on an original Cobra parked right beside me.
I take it back.... I would rather be driving it.

RE: TROPHY or lack of
Kristin,
I never won anything, ever, before getting my Cobra. My Cobra has won a few.
I'm still the same person, for better or worse..
What I'm getting at is that the lack of a trophy certainly doesn't change your status.
You have been a WINNER and you'll stay a WINNER.
I don't know of anyone that will disagree.
