Steve, wrap some duct tape around the bulb and put it back in.
Let me know how those ultrasonic transducers work. If set to audible, do they work on people too?

Brent,
When I set that thing on the audible it would drive me nuts in a short time. Not super loud but has a varying range of frequencies that it goes up and down.

Cool, as I have some non english speaking neighbors who tend to get loud. And stupid barking dogs. I really hate to use the pellet gun on the neighbors. I also thought about playing Metallica at full volume through my guitar amp out the front to drown out their music. Stupid neighbors. The mother has cracked down a bit, though, and they haven't been loud for a week or two.

Flipper, a suitable daily display of HP should provide a level of retaliation.
Say 4:00 am you go out and start the cobra and let it run for about twenty minutes, "to let it warm up"
The neighbors will love you.

Brent,
Tru's solution will work. I used to have neighbors that yelled and played loud music until around 1 AM. I asked them to tone it down and they told me to go to hell. So as I get up at 3 AM, I got a steel fence post and took it over about 12' from their bedroom window and started banging on it with a hammer. Four of them staggered out and wanted to know what in hell I thought I was doing and I told them they could expect that every morning until that loud music and yelling stopped completely. After one more morning, they were quiet as anyone and several other neighbors came over and thanked me for quieting them down. Three weeks alter they packed up and moved. Neighborhood has been relatively quiet since then.

You are so funny. Shoot you rneighbors with a pellet gum LOL LOL
I needed that.
I had not thought of that. But the dealer has had the truck ALL DAY. The guy in the shop is way past this book time on the repair. I guess they will try to add something to it to cover the extra time now. The old F250 4X4 has a 4" lift and 35" tires, so he has to stand on a bucket to reach the steering wheel. It is kinda funny really.
BLykins:
I have not heard, does he, do you? Send me an email. See the ohter thread.

What a great idea I just had. Maybe I should record this mutt barking all day and play it in her window all night LOUD. HUMM
I can't wait to hear about your green box. We almost have to talk in code to keep from getting chastized. Did I say that out loud?
I need to get me a goat. With all this rain we have had I have to mow twice a week. It would not be so bad but the yard is big. I guess I can work on the summer tan, huh

Steve, borrow a kareoke (sp?) machine and point it at your neighbors house full bore. Hang a condenser mic on the fence to pick up the dog. Though I don't know what it might do to the dog.

Earl,
Great to see you posting again. Hope the new medication works out better for you.
Steve,
Could you re-send the e-mail that I received this morning and in my sleepy stupor deleted before I got it open to read?
Brent,
Just what does a kareoke, (your spelling in case Kristen checks), do, and where would you get one?

Now, if I ever move near you, I promise I'll keep the noise down..
That stake/steel fence post and hammer in the early hours would keep anyone quite..

A karoke machine is what they use to play music so that people can sing along........It shows the words on screen and plays the music only...

Bernie,
They were a bunch of dopers and when they moved the cops came and hauled a load of stolen junk and dope stuff out of that old house. All but one of them is long since departed, and he is in prison and most likely wong live to get out from the last report I heard. I really thught the old steel fence post was a good ideaas it made a really sharp, loud sound when hit with the 2 1/2 pound hammer.
Thanks for the explanation of a karoke machine. I thuoght it had something to do with music but was to lazy to look it up.

Steve,
Got it. Now if I can just figure a way to work it in with Kristen's Pink Thongy thing I could have some fun.
Or not.

I wouldn;'t use the music, just aim a condenser mic at where the dog barks and amplify it towards your neighbor. If the doesn't work, do like dad and get a long piece of wood and everytime the dog barks and wakes you up, pound on the house with the wood.

Hey Steve, don't be stingy with what ya found, send it to each of us in a PM so we can "ALL" enjoy it...>Earl
