I wish I could print the London Tale out-- when I print threads the right side is cut off. If you select 'show printable version' it omits the photos. Any help in that department??
Hey, Ron. I had to really study that textbook you sent me.
I would have liked to have put them in, straight from the computer, but now that they are in the gallery, that's fine, too. I have a bunch more I will add to my gallery, but they weren't necessary for the story, just more pics. I'm getting there!
THANK YOU SOOO VERY MUCH FOR HELPING ME TO POST THE PICS IN A CONTINUOUS THREAD!
gotta go.
K
man, am I pooped. It took me over 2 hours to post that last night. I knew the night time would be the better time to post- not as many people jumping in. But it sure made for a late night!
Now I get to start packing for Colorado. Hubby and girls leave on Saturday, boys and I fly out on Sunday. I'll head to the boys scout camp on Friday night, for the Order of the Arrow ceremony for Peter. I was really hoping to scrapbook the trip to London before I go, but will probably drag all my supplies and stuff to the cabin. Nothing better than sitting on the deck, reading, doing needlework, or now scrapbooking. How fun. The town has a little internet kiosk type thing (don't think fancy here- it ain't a starbucks!) and I can head down and chat for an hour or so.
more later, and have a great day!
Kristen

Darn Kristen,
Why don't you just fly over your house once a month to be sure it is still there? I just wish I was young enough and had enough health to travel like you do.
As for the help on posting the pictures, 99% of that goes to Ron(CW). I had made up a smaller vesion of that and hadn't put in as many pictures. His was a lot better so I kept it when he sent it to me to look at and that is what I send to people who are new to posting pictures. Just pass it along to the next person that asks for help.
And Just For You !!!
Watch what you say !
A man took his wife to the rodeo and one of the first exhibits
they stopped at was the breeding bulls. They went up to the first pen and there was a sign attached that said, "This bull mated 50 times last year."
The wife playfully nudged her husband in the ribs and said, "He mated 50 times last year."
They walked to the second pen which had a sign attached that
said, this bull mated 120 times last year." The wife gave her husband a healthy jab and said, "That's more than twice a week! You could learn a lot from him."
They walked to the third pen and it had a sign attached that
said, in capital letters, "This bull mated 365 times last year." The wife, so excited that her elbow nearly broke her husband's ribs, said, "That's once a day. You could REALLY learn something from this one."
The husband looked at her and said, "Go over and ask him if it
was with the same cow."
NOTE: The husband's condition has been upgraded from critical to stable and he should eventually make a full recovery. (See how women are?!!
Ain't no pleasin' them! :-)

Kristen, just reply to one of mine and attach 10 or 20 pics.
Do it two or three times and that should do it.
Ron, sorry to hear you're not feeling well. Is it the heat, the mowing or just pooped?
Steve, it would be worth the trip.
Mike? Chasing girls? Normal for you age.

So, there is this young bull and this old bull standing in the pasture and they are eyeing the other end of the pasture where all the females are. The young one says to the old one, "Hey, lets run down to the other end and mate with one of them heffers." The old bull smiles and say, "lets walk down and mate with them all."

Tru,
It is the heat, humidity, age, and health. My doctor told me to stay in and not work out in this heat at all but I have to as nothing gets done otherwise. I did mow the yards this morning and then had to just quit as I am about ready to collapse. I don't even feel like being up to tell the truth. And I still have 3 rose bushes to go, and that upper lot and out front to mow. But not today.

I don't have any idea, but this one has far surpassed the old Joke of the Day thread. Jamo, Ron(CW), is there a maximum?

Mike,
Keep this in mind for future losses of sanity.
A Doctor was addressing a large audience in Tampa. "The material we put into our stomachs is enough to have killed most of us sitting here, years ago. Red meat is awful. Soft drinks corrode your stomach lining. Chinese food is loaded with MSG. High fat diets can be disastrous, and none of us realizes the long-term harm caused by the germs in our drinking water. But there is one thing that is the most dangerous of all and we all have, or will, eat it. Can anyone here tell me what food it is that causes the most grief and suffering for years after eating it?"
After several seconds of quiet, a 75-year-old man in the front row raised his hand, and softly said, "Wedding Cake."

Hey we went and saw the War of the Worlds movie yesterday. I really do not like Tom cruise for many reasons but this is a very well acted movie on his part and a great movie overall.
Similar to the original but with TONS of special effects. Great show.
Ahhh post count indeed. I was wondering if this would make the 5k mark. To quote a ltlle train " I think I can, I think I can, I think I can"

We don't need no stinkin' limits
Most treads have a "post/reply" limit of so many characters. I think CC limit is 1000 chacaters. I'm not sure what the other limits are, but we will find out as we boldly go on into the unknown!
But since we have our own Moderator (CG) with clout, we probably have the connections to break the limits!?
Ron61 - Good Pres. Reagan quotes!
