Steve, a 10 Second F350! WOW, talk about a sleeper!!! That excerpt from the contract is complete BS... "Entertainment."
Happy 4th everyone!

Now Ron I know you can figure out how to post a picture of that.
The goats here will eat everything. No kidding. A neighbor had 6 acres and he bought 14 goats. The lot was so overgrown you could not see any fenceline from the street. When he put the goats in the fence he laughed and said he would never see them again.
Fast forward SIX months. He now has to suppliment their diet because they have eaten everything. Funny thing, he found a shed on the back of the lot he did not know was there.

Mike
The diesels around here will smoke the tires even the 4 x 4's and dully's. Some will run with the vettes and hold there own. It is so funny for a camero to pull up next to an F350 and get smoked. You can do wonders with the powerstrokes and propain. The propain works like Nitros on a gasoline car. They will get your attention in great big hurry.

Steve,
I have been looking for an appropriate picture of the Texas Riding Lawnmower. I am sure that in some of my junk from the old days I have something. Biggest thing now is to figure out just what I am going to do in the near future, assuming I have one.
It is 102 right now and just burns my skin when I go outside. I need to do some concrete work and no way can I do it in this heat. I thought about going over to the range and target practicing for a while but they won't let me use a lawnmower as the target. I may go later anyway as I need to shoot some. I still have one free pass from when I paid my yearly dues last year.
I had thought about driving the 69 Cobra, but when I opened the garage door and it saw this heat it hissed at me so I shut the door. Man, is this going to be one hot 4th of July. I should have gone to the coast, but then there would be no one to take care of Jack's place or my dogs.

Ron, take that cobra and have it outfitted with a 5 foot deck.
Mike, it is cubic dollars. Even an F350 can run 10s.
Earl, I hope you are having a great time and thanks for the wishes of well. I hope you have a safe 4th.
Everyone, I may not post until after the holiday...so happy holiday!!!!!!!!

Tru,
Hope that your 4 th was great. It is hot here just as they said. I am mostly staying inside now as my hip and leg are a mess. And the heat is bad on my nerves. I don't like taking the nerve pills so I either stay out of the heat or take them by the handfull.
As for the 5 foot deck on the Cobra. Maybe bury it in the front yard and use it as a flower bed. It costs around $35K just to get a dam permit to put a house boat on the lake here. I heard a guy at the hardware store yesterday that was really unhappy. He works for oe of the marinas and feels they are getting cheated as they rent their larger boats for just $7,500 a week and the others are getting $10 to $17K per week for theirs.

They had a fun time, and their troop is very large and strong, and won all the awards.
Pretty quiet around here.

Every Fourth around here the entire subdivision gets together and has afireworks show. We are in the county and it is still legal here. There are about 35 homes and everyone buys from $100 -$300 worth of fireworks and sets them off one after the other.
I have been to firework shows all my life and these are the best because we get to set up front so to speak. The local fire dept comes down and watches the show. They had to leave a couple of times last year but always came back.
We do a BBQ and frozen drink machine. So you know it gets better as the night gets later. Nothing like a bunch of half lite pople setting of fireworks. Just kidding ya'll. The guys that set them off don't party till the show is over,..... No really, I promise
Looking forward to tinight.
Everyone be safe and don't down any houses. I know what it is like and believe me it is not fun, and it is VERY expensive!!!

Lots of fireworks.
It rained this morning and I finished building part of my new fence. Now all I have to do is go mow the grass.
Where is everyone?

Hey Earl
glad to hear your still Ok. Sometimes felling a little bad is better than not feeling at all, if you know what I mean. Glas you are still here with us.
Has anyone heard from Ron in a few days. I know he was feeling bad and said he was going to the ER to get checked out and I have not heard from him since. Kinda worried here about him now. Seems like no one lives close enough to go check on him. If I don't hear somthing by later today I will call him to check in. I am not sure if the number I have is cellular or land line. But al least i do have a number.
Ron, where are you?
BTW:
The merchant acount problem and hosting problems are solved. All I need to do now is finish building the web site. And then I will be good to go.

Steve,
First day up after three days in bed and on heavy medication for heat stroke. Really feel kind of crappy. I did take a drive and will see if I can post a picture or so here. Thanks for caring.
