A while back I asked you for the titles of the books you authored. No reply. What are the titles, and what name did you use as the author?

Warren,
Do you need Turtle to read for you? I just see 3,499 posts listed on yours, not 3,000.
I received a call from my cousin in Arkansas last night. They are leaving there at 8 AM their time this morning and he said if they hit no weather they should be here Monday. They plan to spend a couple of days if the weather isn't really lousy and that will be nice as he is the only living relative I have left that I know of. I am sure there are more, but I don't know them or where they are. I spend a good part of yesterday getting then Cobra ready for it's new home and think I have everything ready now. It is going to be a mixed day of sadness and happiness to see it go. But life goes on.

I was talking about the # of posts in this thread, not MY total posts. And by the way, blind man, MY total posts were 2,449, not 3,499 you mentioned. Senior moment? Brain fart? Fat fingers hitting 3 key instead of #2? But a 9 instead of a 4????? Frenchy is over for a visit and typing your answers?
It is Saturday already .. where did the week go? Daylight saving time tonight. Who cares if there is sunlight at midnight when its 6 ºF outside?

Warren,
That was worse than a Senior Moment and Brain Fart. You are allowing Frenchy to be around Turtle. Better watch out for her tongue. But she probably saves that for Fred.
And I made a big note to set my clocks ahead before I go to bed tonight. Our weather isn't real cold, but has been overcast and just a sprinkle off and on for the past three days. Glad I got that last drive in Tuesday when we had one of our rare really nice days this Winter. My cousin called last night and they are leaving this morning to come get the car. He said he should be here Monday if everything goes well.

Tru,
It may be a month before I have any car. I have to wait until he gets his new job all lined out and then he is selling his house and buying a larger one so that is time consuming. As for Kristen, she must really be busy. Fred isn't posting much either, so maybe she got the car and they are out breaking it in, (up) ???

She is going to have to put that enclosed trailer next to the garage and use it as an addition so she can get all of her toys inside. I am sure if she would let Peter have one of the Mustangs he would find a nice parking spot to keep it.

another saturday another day another wait
had soccer for #4 at 8 am!! nearly 30 minutes away, and had to be there at 7:30. We left the house at 6:58!! can you believe it???
YMCA- do they THINK we want to be at the Y at 8 in the morning?? On a Saturday?? what are they thinking???
#3 at softball practice right now, 10:30-12:30. Peter has a baseball game in Weatherford (about 1 1/2 hr away) at 12:30. Graham has practice in Terrell (25 minutes East) from 3-5. We both went to #4's first ever soccer game at 8. (25 minutes northeast!)
we will have been in 4 counties today; all a big circle.
Dallas county, tarrant county or even further west than Ft. Worth, not sure, Rockwall county, and Terrell is in Kaufman county.
we must be nuts!!!
be back sometime. dunno when.

Kristen,
Since you are obviously going to be way to busy to drive that Mustang when it gets there why not ship it out to me and I will break it in as I have plenty of time. Do not let Fred and Frenchy get it first.

Weatherford is in the middle of Parker County, west of Ft. Worth.
That makes at least 5 counties today !
Did you keep track of the miles ?
I sure hope someone won somewhere today.

I think she covered the same amount of miles Warren will when he takes Turtle to Tru's for Spring Break.

Warren won't take Turtle to Tru's for Spring Break. Tru has been collecting turtle receipts for the last month now. Now if you and Frenchy were to join them, it should be interesting.

Being the nice guy/host that Tru is,he would give up his bed for Frenchy's visit.
She doesn't shed all that much.

Fred,
You are going to let Frenchy drive the Cobra when she goes to visit Tru aren't you? Then they can go get together with Warren and collapse another tunnel.

we both went to Rockwall for soccer at 8. little girls lost. (with the YMCA they don't keep score, but believe me, we lost)
David went to Weatherford; i did not. JV baseball lost.
I did the softball practice, only 10 minutes away.
I did the baseball practice at 3, 30 minutes. so, between us, yeah, a bunch of miles! I took the mustang to softball practice, then lunch out, then cruisin' with the girls a little bit. we like driving around in it.
(I don't trust it, so we don't go very far away) I finally got a spare last week. Got a cheap, used wheel, inexpensive tire, mounted it to make sure it fits, and tossed it in the trunk. Feel better about that. haven't had a spare, and that makes me nervous. of course the cobra doesn't have a spare, either!!
Got two brand spankin' new wheels and tires for the trailer. long story why i have two.
will get those mounted on the trailer this week, and the older ones put inside for spares. getting the supplies for the trip to austin together, this week also. a floor jack, chocks, several things. a portable air tank.
my new tools from Tru.
tru. that was such a nice nice gift!! thank you again for them. I'm getting excited about the road trip to Austin, just 1 1/2 weeks away!
I'm hoping Fred 'shows' this year, so i don't have to waste my minutes calling him every couple of hours. like i had to do last year!
Fred... got those taxes done yet?? ready for austin???
i don't think i have to have my taxes done til october.
well ok. lots to do today. ya'll have a good one!
k

Warren is going to have to wait for the annual Turtle migration.
No joke, the turtles migrate from area to area and several hundred are run over each year as they try to cross the roads. When the boys were younger, we would drive around and collect them in the bed of our pickup and then put them in the pond.
One year we had ten or so making their way across the backyard. They were going from the duck pond to the big swamp. Dang coolest thing I had seen in years.
Now, of course Frenchy would be in heaven. The duckpond and big swamp as well as the front pond all swell with frogs in the spring and all through summer.
Of course, we couldn't have Frenchy up during that time as there would be no restraining those natural tendencies. I wouldn't want Fred to be broken hearted because Frenchy ran off with another frog at my place.
