Ah, a brisk 22 outside this morning.

Did someone say...Supercharger???

The reason she hasn't posted any pictures is, she is driving all over the place.

:D :D :D

Ron61 03-18-2007 07:35 AM

Yea, that car will have 20,000 miles on it before she gets out long enough to take any pictures. She is probably trying to keep it away from Frenchy. :3DSMILE:

The Cobra is going to take a back seat to the new mustang.

Of course there is nothing like the body style of a Cobra, but that "push you back in the seat" rush when you hammer it, has a certain way of making things fun.

:D

hey,littlecobra 03-18-2007 07:47 PM

Kristen,

Very nice. Now I am jealous. You have three great cars and I have none. Oh well I will be getting a picture of the Beverley Hillbillies Truck one of these days before to much longer. Maybe I can fake it. :p

What happened to the '69 ?????

Ron61 03-19-2007 05:21 AM

Warren,

The 69 doesn't count for this club. It is a Ford Cobra, not a Shelby Replica or original. :(

Ron

Looks good Kristen.

Congrats on the new baby. ;)

Bad answer - cuz 2 of Kristen's cars are not a Shelby Replica or original. In fact, I have an "Oprah", not a Cobra if you read a post I did on the Latest Recognition thread a couple of days ago! :) :) :) :) :) :)

Here is a nice picture of a REAL Mustang!

Ron61 03-19-2007 11:25 AM

:(

Warren,

Right now I am not to concerned about cars. I had to take my other little dog back to the hospital as he is having some kind of problem with his left hind leg and hip and just rolls and cries. There is a big knot in the leg and the hip hurts when you touch it. I am afraid I may have to have him put to sleep, and just last week he had finally quit grieving and looking for Sherry who I had to have put to sleep in December. My vet will call later this evening and tell me if he found anything with the X-Rays.
Now for the car part, I have pretty much got the Daytona Coupe locked up, but it will most likely be at least two more months before I can get it as he has to have a couple of things did down there and then he will bring it up here for me to drive and also to have a couple of minor items taken care of. If that works out, it will be nice as I like the roof over my head in the heat we have here, and maybe it will take my mind off some of my other problems.

Ron

trularin 03-19-2007 02:14 PM

Yup, that there is some pretty iron.

:D

wtm442 03-19-2007 02:22 PM

My prayers for your dog. Losing one is tough, but two that close together is just not right!

Tell the Daytona owner to get the lead out. I'd be chewing my nails waiting for it, but 2 months is nothing. That is one car I'd love to own, but my 5 foot 18 inch frame gets in the way of dashboards, steering wheels, roofs, etc.

Just started to do some spring cleaning on my computer. Seems that the internet speed is slower than it was a while back. Maybe its that I have 63 processes up and running. Got to turn off some of the CPU hogs. Going thru some of the recent articles in PCWorld. Good stuff.

Ron,
Sorry to hear about your pup. Please keep us updated.

You can be sure we all care very much.

Ron61 03-19-2007 03:52 PM

Warren & Fred,

Thanks for the kind words. Teddy is home now and all Ken could find was that for some reason his muscle in that leg is knotting up like I thought it was until Ken said it felt like a growth. All X-Rays are good, but her did have to remove or cut off the pin he put in the other hind leg when they did the knee surgery as it was starting to stick out. After they put him to sleep, that big knot vanished like it did when I would rub it. He is laying in my lap right now feeling pretty weak after being put to sleep and his leg is sore of course. I have to take him back next Monday for Ken to check and he will probably remove the stitch then. He is going to try to get some kind of nerve relaxant medication for me if he can find what he is looking for. If we can get through tonight I think he will be ok but he may have those muscle spasms for the rest of his life. My left leg is continually sore from the muscle cramping at all times and it feels like a golf ball under my skin when it does it. And it hurts so bad I could scream if that would help.

Ron :)

392cobra 03-19-2007 04:03 PM

Thanks for good news Ron !

I have dealt with cramps in my ankles and feet for many years.Always happens when I am asleep.

A couple of months ago I was searching around, again, for something that might help.
First is being sure you are hydrated and your potassium level is correct.Mine was.
Then found many references to calcium W/ magnesium supplements.Suppose to help the potassium do it's job better.
Got a big bottle at CVS for about $7.

The cramps have gone way way down.:D

trularin 03-19-2007 04:28 PM

Gee Ron, I completely missed the info about your dog. Sorry to hear about your pup.

Don't let Warren try to give you a turtle.

wtm442 03-19-2007 05:09 PM

Ron

Fred is correct about the cramp meds/nutrition. Every so often I'd wake up with a tremendous leg cramp and my toes would stick out in weird directions. I had to walk around for hours until it subsided. My sister told me to eat a banana about 3 years ago. They are excellent food to help reduce/eliminate leg cramps. So now I eat about 4 to 5 bananas a week. No leg cramps over the last 3 years.

I would never give you my turtle, no matter what Tru says. Next year I'm going to add a supercharger to the shell, so watch out! Turtle rubber in all one gear! The ability to leap over buildings and frogs ,,,, its Super-Turtle!

Beam me up Scottie :D :D :D :D

hey,littlecobra 03-19-2007 07:11 PM

let David drive the 500 today.....

Ron61 03-20-2007 04:13 AM

:)

Warren,

I think you should send Turtle to Ninja School. Then let him practice down at the frog pond.

Kristen,

You actually let David drive the 500!!!! Wow, that must be a first. How many miles does it have on it already? :)

Ron :3DSMILE:

wtm442 03-20-2007 04:54 AM

Ron
Good idea, We actually have a pond called "Frog Pond" a few miles from my house.

Did you have your banana this morning? I had one last night about midnight.

Kristen
Don't you know that you are supposed to take it easy for the first 500 miles to break in the engine! :3DSMILE: :3DSMILE: I agree with the comments on your "baby" thread about lowering the Mustang. Way too high, especially in the rear. It's one sweet lookin' ride!
