Do your canning quick before they make it illegal for private citizens to can food. Do you know that by doing that you are cutting into the profits of the imported stuff from China and other places. Don't forget to can plenty of Turtle Meat.  Ron :p |
:D
I think you will like this one. Trouble is you won't be able to get it out of your mind! Chelsea Clinton was talking to a combat decorated soldier and she asked him the three things he feared most. He said : "Osama, Obama, and Yo Mama." Ron :) |
I hope to be able to cut our expenses.
Gas is $3.35 per gallon and it looks bad for anyone driving anywhere. |
The gas out here has set a new record high for average price of the lowest type for this time of year and they say we will be back over the $4 per gallon mark for the two so called upper octane brands by Summer. Guess I had better take some of my dinosaurs that I had in storage for the past few million years out and start using them.
Ron :p |
Here on Oahu premium is anywhere from $3.21 to $3.36. Add at least .25
for the outer islands. |
Flip, Premium here is $3.69 to $3.89 right now. I was talking about the lowest grade gas setting a record. I think our low grade is 91 octane and the so called premium is 93. I just filled my car up a day or so ago and the 91 was $3.49. Now I heard it has gone up again and I have to get more gas. Ron  |
hi.
Ron. it sounds like you tore a muscle, not a pulled muscle. That can be done easily by doing something as 'mundane' as turning around in your car seat. I'm not sure tears can heal on their own, but you should talk to your doctor in the next week if it isn't better over the weekend. i am soo busy that i don't even have time to read CC. gotta go! off to softball practice. #2's game was canceled for wet fields, and #4 has a soccer game. not rained out, and David is taking her. I'm doing #3's softball practice. #1 (Peter) is finished with sports for a bit. yea. :JEKYLHYDE seeya! K |
:)
Hi Kristen, Nice you had a second to pop in. According to my doctor the muscle is just a very bad pull exaggerated by my nerves. And in that spot, even if it tears, I don't think there is a lot that can be done except try to immobilize it and let it heal on its own like when I had the knee problem years ago. Gads, that took 9 months. I wish I had a fraction of your energy as you go more in a day than I do in a year. Must be nice to be a kid. I think I was already an adult when the aliens dropped me off on this planet to oversee the start of populating it. Now if I could just remember where I put my teleporter control. :) Ron :D |
Who was that woman that just flash by?
|
Tru, That is good. Maybe we should call her Flash. Man, I wish I was just in good enough health to do half of the stuff she does. Of course she never had the thrill of racing dinosaurs. Ron :JEKYLHYDE |
hi ron; try our pictures,ginny
|
hi, Ginny. Can you put some pics in your gallery?
I think Ron has put one ya'll sent in somewhere. How's it going??? Kristen |
Ginny,
There are no pictures in your gallery. You must have did something wrong. What size were you trying to put in? Should be around 200KB for best results, but I have put some in at around 350KB. If you can't figure it out let me or one of the others know. Kristen and most of the people on this chat thread are very good at explaining things and you know I am terrible. Ron  |
For a small fee Frenchy will send you some of her juice.
"We need to identify more of the chemicals liberated by frogs and relate them to real-life functions, like mosquito repelling, antipredator cues, and sexual cues," he said. "There's a lot we don't know about frog chemical ecology." http://news.nationalgeographic.com/n...repellent.html |
:)
Fred, Of course you realize they got that from the Super Frog comic book. Ron :3DSMILE: |
Looks like Frenchy will be cancelling her "working" vacation to Lima,Peru.%/
Lately, the demand for Titicaca frogs seems to be growing. According to a recent report on Peruvian National Television, 150 live frogs are required daily to satisfy Lima’s latest fad—frog juice, known locally as Peruvian Viagra. Live frogs are stripped of their skins like peeled bananas and dropped into a household blender. Mixed with water, maca (a local tuber) and honey, the juice’s prowess as an aphrodisiac is given great claim by locals who guzzle the concoction in a show of macho bravado. One regular user, Lima local Jorge Flores, says he has a glass of frog juice almost every night. When he plans to go out on the town, he makes it a double. |
:)
That must be a thrill for the women. To be hit on by a walking, talking, two legged frog. :3DSMILE: Ron :JEKYLHYDE |
OMG ... Frogacide! **) **) **) **) **)

Maybe True Maybe Not. I didn't find it on Snopes. House #1 A 20 room mansion ( not including 8 bathrooms ) heated by natural gas. Add on a pool ( and a pool house) and a separate guest house, all heated by gas. In one month this residence consumes more energy than the average American household does in a year. The average bill for electricity and natural gas runs over $2400. In natural gas alone, this property consumes more than 20 times the national average for an American home. This house is not situated in a Northern or Midwestern "snow belt" area. It's in the South. ~~~ House #2 Designed by an architecture professor at a leading national university. This house incorporates every "green" feature current home construction can provide. The house is 4,000 square feet ( 4 bedrooms ) and is nestled on an arid, high prairie in the American southwest. A central closet in the house holds geothermal heat-pumps drawing ground water through pipes sunk 300 feet into the ground. The water (usually 67 degrees F. ) heats the house in the winter and cools it in the summer. The system uses no fossil fuels such as oil or natural gas and it consumes one-quarter electricity required for a conventional heating/cooling system. Rainwater from the roof is collected and funneled into a 25,000 gallon underground cistern. Wastewater from showers, sinks and toilets goes into underground purifying tanks and then into the cistern. The collected water then irrigates the land surrounding the house. Surrounding flowers and shrubs native to the area enable the property to blend into the surrounding rural landscape. HOUSE #1 is outside of Nashville , Tennessee ; it is the abode of the "environmentalist" Al Gore. HOUSE #2 is on a ranch near Crawford , Texas ; it is the residence the of the President of the United States , George W. Bush. Ron :) |
Just got this picture. It is my Cobra in it's new home.
