Ron, your cobra lives in a trailer. Is that a fitting expression to leave us with -- trailer trash ( this is from your words a while ago )?
Fred, You just need Frenchy to get you a date. Glad you weathered the weather.
Hi Warren.
Where is Kristen and did she survive the weatehr in her neck of the woods?
Well, I found the internet cable...with a shovel. Had to fix that. Planted five trees, all are in trouble, but that is why we planted them...togive them a chance. Nik is now home. I can not seem to understand why the PT Cruiser is such a piece of sh!t.
Other than that, I saw a great looking GT on I75 going north.
it is 50 and windy, I am going to have to water trees today.

have a good day!
yesterday the carshow at AER was nice.
I believe Fred placed in his category. Way to go, Fred.

Tru,
The Cobra lives in his garage but the trailer is far nicer than my garage. They have cleaned every nut and bolt on that car and it probably won't run now. Ginny spent hours two days ago making the white letters on the tires like new for the car show the 19th. If I had known they were going to treat it like that I would have left it here and gone in the trailer myself.

So, Ron, Are you saying Ginny would have made your white walls look like new?
What is with this weather????? It is nice, but cool. I am too darn pooped to take the cobra up to the gas station.
But I did work my butt off to cut and trim. I usually just move the field and a few other areas and then move on to another project, but this time I trimmed the trees. WOW, what a difference. It actually looks nice for three rows of trees.
Well, Kristen, I think Nik might have beat Peter in the sleepin race, had I not awakened him this morning. He had chores.

hey, Dave. And can you imagine, Peter actually drove to church today, at 9:30!! Of course he then went to lunch with his grandparents, and then off to cousins (in Terrell, you know the ones) to hang around at the farm, and play video games all afternoon. Amazing what motivation will do to get boys up in the morning.
Here is a pic from the AER show yesterday in Dallas. About 251 cars (seems less than usual) and the threat of storms probably scared a few off.

Tru,
The weather here is perfect today. It is 80 degrees with just a light breeze blowing and I haven't done anything. I have just lost all desire to get out and do things any more.
Kristen,
That is a great picture. Looks like some very nice cars were there.

red one to the left of me.... red one to the right of me..... red one to the front right of me.....
but yes, I posted "Frenchy and Paddy". that, to me, would indicate Fred's Cobra, and my GT 500.

I knew that was Fred's red Cobra because of the French look. It hops instead of going straight. However I don't see Frenchy. Did he hide her?

Fred's car is spectacular. Not a speck of dust on it. Very well done.
It has always looked great, any time I've seen it.
K
oh, and I believe Frenchy had another engagement, and couldn't attend yesterday.
She was auditioning for "French Kiss" with Kevin Kline. (she'll play the part played by Meg Ryan)

Kristen,thanks for the compliments.
Finally got to see the 500 in person !
Josh got invited to sit in it,he was very impressed.
After I begged to look in inside for 1/2 hour,Kristen checked to see if my hands were washed. After that inspection, she let me touch the door handle and open the door.
Before getting to actually sit in the 500,my jeans & shirt were checked for any specks of lint or dust.Barely passed on that,I was surprised.
I am very impressed too !
That is a ride to be VERY Proud of !!

Just in case anything slimy squeezed off of Fred while in the new Mustang, there is a new product that will help ... Bull Frog Rustorer

What, you let Fred sit in the car with no plastic covering the seats. Did you lock Frenchy in the trunk of his Cobra?

Fred, did you have to turn your head and caugh?
Were there armed guards?
Did you have to stand before the pope before you got it?
Come on...what was the criteria. I was thinking of going to Texas to see the new arrival and need to know what I may have to do. I don't do little furry animals.

Wow, it is HOT here today. Jumped right into the 90s from that 38 two mornings ago. I am afraid this is going to be one long and very hot Summer here. I even saw some rattlesnakes packing to leave and go to Arizona where it will be cooler.

As I mentioned,it takes about 1/2 hour ,at least.
I spent the first 15 minutes with straight begging. That may or may not have swayed her some. Not too sure.
Next I added in some pleading.Noticed a little softening from her original "No way in He!!.Get away from my car !!!"
And lastly I combined the above with sobbing uncontrollably.
Not too sure if it was disgust and embarassment or worried that the salt from my tears would damage the 500's paint.
In either case it worked.
Kristen did spray some windex in my face and handed me a paper towel before letting step in. I'm guessing she was worried this time about the salt on the leather interior. I think.
Tru,
I hope this helps. She pretty tough.
