Yeah, I am sure he was well trained in the use of a custom .50 pistol.

The state of Texas asked me to, "take as many as I can" when I was down for the Boar hunt.

I don't know anyone in Alabama.

Fred,

Frenchy had ear mites and may have an ear infection. He is at the vets now and has just quit playing with Sweetheart or me at all the past two days. He just wants to lay down. Everything else is normal and the breeder is calling my vet now as she said he may still have some ear infection from the mites and that would make him dizzy and not want to do anything but lay. I am praying that is what it is because I have inner ear infections from my sinuses and the same thing happens to me. Plus he is getting car sick and he never did that before and she said that would cause it which it did to me as I threw up all over the car just going five blocks to a doctor. I am just about to the end of what my nerves can take with worrying and stress. The car has been completely forgotten about until I get this straightened out and he is back to normal. I had planned to start driving it next month quite a bit to get used to it, but I have to take them in the 29th for a check up and I have to go the 30th for my eye doctors appointment so this month is shot. Plus I am so worried about him that I just don't feel like messing with a car right now.

Ron

Sorry to hear about Frenchy having a ear infection.

I don't know much at all about dogs & ear infections. With kids it is a pain too (pun intended) but it is pretty straight forward in how the Dr. deals with it.
Frenchy will be back to eating your CD's in no time.

Fred,

I just hope that is what it is and they can clear it up quickly. Sweetheart is now staying under stuff as she is missing him and I am just about to the limit that my nerves can take. My doctor has me on medication now that what I take in a day would actually kill a normal person with just a normal nerve problem and it doesn't even stop mine. Just lets me kind of half way keep control and even then I can't think straight. I just don't know what do to as I have tried my best to make sure that everything was done right and they would have a long healthy life. I think I am about ready to just throw in the towel so to speak and get rid of myself.

You are driving in a car at a constant speed. On your left side is a 'drop off' (The ground is 18-20 inches below the level you are traveling on), and on your right side is a fire engine traveling at the same speed as you. In front of you is a galloping horse which is the same size as your car and you cannot overtake it. Behind you is another galloping horse. Both horses are also traveling at the same speed as you . What must you do to safely get out of this highly dangerous situation?

Warren, no, we have a small tree farm that has been ravaged by Dutch Elm and now is beginning to suffer from Emerald Ash Bore.

So over half the trees are dieing or dead. Hence we cut them down and plant new trees.

We want the forest, and we like to be able to enjoy the woods.

The younger son works for a tree farm, so we get the ill and 'not doing well' trees to nurse through their challenges. we also get the ugly trees. Those that will not sell because they do not look appealing.

Most of these go into the woods with the mature Oaks, Beach, Ash, Cherry ( got lot of these ), Maples and Pines.

Well, this is the most I have ever told anyone about the farm.

Tru - thanks for adding all the oxygen you can to the atmosphere. I have ONE tree in my yard, and its a Japanese maple.

Fred - do not get a hernia by thinking too hard.

Ron - say hi to you new puppies. Hope they are OK. How could you name a cute puppy after Fred's foul-mouthed french frog? A senior moment?

Heat wave finally broke. Two days with temps in mid-90's. Temp at noon is only 70 °F. Still have about 80 six-packs of impatiens that need to be planted. Guess I'll watch the Indy 500 start and then go do some gardening.

Is this the year for a female to win the Indy 500 ?

Warren,

The puppies were already named and I kept their names as they were used to them even though one is just 6 month old and the other 4. Nothing to do with a Frog, and I had thought about that too. But they are intelligent and cute, so that kind of lets Fred's Frog out of the picture.

Ron

OK. I guess I will not call the California SPCA and mention your cruelty ... it's an existing problem. Why not take her (him?) to court and have the name changed legally? Better yet, get both registered as illegal aliens! Free health care and free bones!

I have a friend who named his pet "Dog". Of course, his pet is a cat, so it does not matter cuz his pet does not answer to anything except food (occasionally). But it sure screws up people when they hear people calling the cat and saying "Here Dog"!

But the absolute "name winner" is a girl I knew in work about 20 years ago. Her last name was Mower. Of course, her parents gave her the first name of ... Lawne.

Warren,

Now that was a winning name. Imagine having people yell across the yard, "Hey Lawne."

Went to school with a guy whose last name was Grass.

It was the heady 70's and he inherited the nickname of DOPE..

When he started his first job the boss there did not know of his nickname and told everyone that we should call him GREEN as it was his first job.

Interestingly he has risen up the corporate ladder and has changed the pronunciation of his name to GRAZZ...

The Police have a different understanding of the name GRASS - an informer..
