Well it is 34 here right now but the sun is up and they say it will get into the mid 50s. Hope so as I am tired of this cold weather. However with the cold and sinus problems I have, I think I am going to turn the heat up and go back to bed after while. Really feel crappy.

Ron,
Glad yopu can't fly, or your neighbors would be in trouble!
Another cloudy, rainy day here but at least we are in the 70's, low 80's
although it feels colder. I know - pineapple juice in the blood.

Flip,
Darn it you and Ernie just have to rub it in don't you. The sun is out here today but it is so cold neither car would come out of the garage unless I hired a tow truck to drag them out. All of this snow around me and the light breeze blowing across it makes the sun being out a joke so far as any warmth goes. But next summer when it is 110+, I will be complaining about the heat. I need year around temperatures in the 80s and 90s. It is hard not to get sick with these radicalovernight temperature changes we have.

Ron, WHEN YOU GET TO FEELING BETTER.... would you be so kind as to write out the syntax (in an email) for me to get the pic of my two cars into my signature line, like on HPMO????? I like how that looks, and would like it here, too. If possible..... I don't have a clue.... I went to my gallery on HPMO to get the pic, but all of those are too big. I can't seem to edit my picture without then having all that white in the background. Frustrating it is.
thank you!
Kristen

Kristen I will see what I can do but I am not sure if this site will take pictures in the signature line. Earl had his in before the change to the new program, but when I feel like sitting up for more than 5 minutes I will see what I can do. I think I still have the cars pictures here but if not I can get them from the other site. Darn it, I think I am really coming down with that flu and I don't need that.
Edit: Kristen I went and looked and IMG code is turned OFF in the Signature section. I see a few with pictures in some but maybe Brent just sets theirs so they can put them in.

Yeah, I wonder sometimes if moving south might not be a bad idea.
22 this morning and the snow is crunchy.
I think they are saying 44 today.
I realized today that the "three things you do NOT talk about at work" thingy is real. I accidently opened the Port issue with a few people who immeditaely need to make their opinion known. Wish I hadn't even mentioned it.
Well, I hope everyone's day goes great!

Don,
Well I guess that will show those Crows and other birds that are carrying that stuff. I watched the news last night and they were saying it has mutated into a more deadly strain now and Britan is afraid it is going to jump the channel from France.

What a GREAT day to drive the Cobra! Buzzed around for a few hours, then had to come to work. Bummer.
I have a car show in Palm Desert this Saturday; registration opens at 7:30 AM. This means I have to get up at 5 AM, walk the dogs, eat breakfast, then drive the 2 hours east to Palm Desert.
Weather is warming up this weekend, from the overnight lows in the thirties, to highs this weekend in the 70's!
Summer is almost here!

Not much going on here. Wish the wind would stop so I could go outside and mess around. This is almost as boring as that continual rain.

Same here. Raining and about 38 ºF outside. Bored silly. Went food shopping. Just had an orange - ummmm good. Think I will go down cellar and put the screen material in my new front porch windows I made last summer. Maybe it will bring the good weather sooner.

Well, the caterpillar is finnaly about ready to fire up. We just need to put the #6 Injector in the head, and bleed the air from the fuel lines, then we're set.
It got up to 50 here today, I saw 3 ducks in a stream, does that mean anything?
I got the quarter trim last week.

Mike,
Sounds as if the big day is at hand. That should be quite an exciting experience starting up the first big engine you have helped build. Be sure and save one of the parts.
Our warmest morning in a week. It is right on 40 this morning and at this time that cold wind isn't blowing but it normally starts about the time the sun comes up. If it stays this way I may try to get the 69 Cobra out and take it for a drive today. Still fighting that sinus problem and the left over flue I had, so don't want to be out in the wind.

AIN'T" IT THE TRUTH!!!
Joe Smith started the day early having set his alarm clock (MADE IN JAPAN) for 6am. While his coffeepot (MADE IN CHINA) was perking, he shaved with his electric razor (MADE IN HONG KONG). He put on a dress shirt (MADE IN SRI LANKA), designer jeans (MADE IN SINGAPORE) and tennis shoes (MADE IN KOREA). After cooking his breakfast in his new electric skillet (MADE IN INDIA) he sat down with his calculator (MADE IN MEXICO) to see how much he could spend today. After setting his watch (MADE IN TAIWAN) to the radio (MADE IN INDIA) he got in his car (MADE IN GERMANY) filled it with GAS from Saudi Arabia and continued his search for a good paying AMERICAN JOB. At the end of yet another discouraging and fruitless day checking his Computer (Made In Malaysia), Joe decided to relax for a while. He put on his sandals (MADE IN BRAZIL) poured himself a glass of wine (MADE IN FRANCE) and turned on his TV (MADE IN INDONESIA), and then wondered why he can't find a good paying job in.AME RICA.....
And don't forget this will soon be shipped into the coutnry through ports ran by Arabs. We no longer own our own country.

One of these days they will either have to get all new parts for that engine or replace it. It will probably run like a clock when you start it. Live on the edge and start it late Friday evening.
