Yea, me to. I wish their driving school here at Thunder Hill wasn't so darn back logged. I would like to go through it but the first opening is next November as all of the Summer Classes are already full. A lot of fun and I learn a lot every time I go to a driving school.

Great picture. Post some others when you have a chance. Looks as if you had the track to yourself or were the others afraid to come out while you were on it?

So who can word a legal sounding document to send to the neighbors and landlord to protect myself from the idiots suing me from something they did?
I should know more about being in the midwest later next week.

A lawyer. Not sure if a notarized letter from a legal aid would do it as well. I have one that was done by a woman who works in the court house and it was notarized and is against a local Sargent in the sheriff's dept. and it stood up when the lawyer looked at it.

Earl,
You must be getting pretty good at the put together take apart routine. It should go much faster now that you have done it so often.
We had our Damboree Days car show and cruise Friday eveniing and I was amazed at the number of cars that showed up. Even had one from Nevada. And this is just a small local event that they have each year. Nice for me as it is just 3 blocks from my house.

Tru,
If you are asking me if I won, no of course not. My car is not a show car by any stretch of the imigination. I have to produce the papers and registry just to get these people around here to believe the thing isn't something that I put together. So far as I have found out, I got the only Cobra in 69 that was sold North of Sacramento in this state. If you were asking Kristen if she won, sorry that I answered.

Tru, I won, but I'm not sure what. Yes, I did have some Cobra withdrawal during the vacation ... but it only took one ride to end the withdrawal.
Ron - vacation was good. You have to take numerous vacations during the year, even when you are retired!
Kirsten - nice pic. Only thing to make it better would be sound of engine at full song in the background .....
Flipper35 - if you want, you can contact my lawyer. His name is Smith N. Wesson.

hello everyone. I'm sure ya'll have noticed I haven't posted...
Late thursday evening my husband's grandmother passed away. She was a whole 95 years young, and enjoyed every minute of her life. It has been a long weekend, and although now it is monday evening, it seems like Sunday...
Friday did the funeral home stuff- casket, obit, etc.
Saturday, carted boys to scout projects, blew off the car show, don't know what else, but a bunch of stuff. back to funeral home. Sunday, we had 'senior '06' lunch- my niece is graduating- at church, then straight after that went to a baby shower for a cousin about an hour away. Dashed back from that, then 'visitation' at the funeral home 6-8, then to inlaws to reminisce, then home. Today, luncheon for family at church, then the service at 2, then graveside then 'dessert' gathering at sister in laws til about 6. I'm beat. I'll post pics from TMS tomorrow, when I'm BY MYSELF.
My sons (and hubby) were pallbearers, and they looked so nice and grownup. Peter had his suit from middle school banquet last year, and #3 had new dress clothes for Middle school banquet next weekend. The girls, stood along with their cousin (the one graduating) while she read from Nanny's journal, written when she was 89.... So, all went well, and everybody laughed and cried, and now life will go on.
She was a 'queen' of the community, and loved by everyone. Nobody knows her name, just 'nanny'.
oh well. gotta go. #3 still has to work on his english poetry unit.

Kristen,
Sorry to hear about your family misfortune but that is part of life. Doesn't make it any easier to go through, but we all do. She had a good life for sure and at 95 would have caught me soon.
We had our annual Damboree car show and cruise Friday night here. Very handy for me as they have the show just 3 blocks from my house. I never saw so many cars show up for this small show as there was this year. Even had one from Nevada.

Fred,
Have you been on vacation too? Not many posts from you lately. The weather here has really been nice, just right before the 110+ humidity heat hits and I have been doing a lot of work in the yards and upper lot.
Today Jerry will be over to start tearing the old driveway out. Boy is this expensive. OUCH !!! Tomorrow my regular visit to the dentist and next week the doctor. Then I have car insurance and eye doctor appointment and the house insurance is due. Anyone wanting to contribute is more than welcome.

Fred,
Idle, yes. Rich NO!. All of my money went for medical bills several years ago as I have no insurance. But I get by and a simple mind is easy to keep entertained. Just wish the big bills were spread out a little more. Maybe with this type of planning I should become a financial planner for one of the businesses around here.
