Aggies have a thing for Sheep.

An aggie, a sheep and a frog were survivors of a shipwreck. They found themselves stranded on a deserted island. After being there for awhile, they got into the habit of going to the beach every evening to watch the sun set.

One particular evening, the sky was a fiery red, with beautiful cirrus clouds , the breeze was warm and gentle; a perfect night for romance. As they sat there, the sheep started looking better and better to the aggie. Soon, he leaned over to the sheep and put his arm around it but the frog got jealous and began croaking fiercely until the redneck took his arm off from around the sheep. After that, the three of them continued to enjoy the sunsets together...but there was no more cuddling.

A few weeks passed by and lo and behold...there was another shipwreck. The only survivor was a beautiful young woman. She was the most beautiful woman that the aggie had ever seen. She was in a pretty bad way when they rescued her, but they slowly nursed her back to health. When she was well enough...they introduced her to their evening beach ritual. It was another beautiful evening; red sky, cirrus clouds, a warm and gentle breeze........perfect for a night of romance. Pretty soon the aggie started to get " those feelings" again.
He fought them as long as he could, but he finally gave in and leaned over to the young woman, cautiously, and whispered in her ear................

" Would you mind taking the frog for a hop????"

Warren,

That is the reason they changed the route for the bicycle race to make it easier after Lance Armstrong won it 7 times in a row. They figured no French rider could compete against the other countries riders in the mountains on the route they used, so they changed it to an easier one. Now they will be trying to disqualify everyone that finishes ahead of the top French rider on the dope scandals. I guess they will have to limit it to French riders only if they want to win one.

WARNING,
Hey there is a lot of spam going around that seems to be from greeting cards.org. They always come from other names and not from greeting cards themselves.

They all have a link that is to take you to your card. It is from a "friend" or "schoolmate" or "Partner" "buddy" "Old Friend" but never from someone name that YOU KNOW. These are spam and the links are all invitations to viruses that will auto load onto your systems.

I got one and my software killed the link. After doing some research I found they are send out and average of ten million emails a day seemingly from "greeting cards.

Just be careful. I do not open any emails that I am not expecting or if I do not know thee sender.

Just FYI.

Steve,

Thanks for the heads up on the latest spam game. I have been getting a
lot of them just as you described. Started to check one but it looked like
it was an ad to send cards so I trashed it. In the past when I have
received a card from a friend, the friend was identified in the heading, not
a vague "your classmate, pal, mate, whatever". What next?

Yep.

Greeting Cards .org Has responded and they tell me that they are a victim just as we are. They scammers are using this technique as so many E-cards are sent out each day.

If you receive a VALID E-card it will have the sender's name on the subject line in the email. If you don't recognize it trash it.

Gee, whenever I get a virus from a friend or schoolmate, the doctor gives me some penicillin and some other stuff. That usually fixes my systems.

Thanks Steve

Tru
My tomatoes and cukes and other veggies are growing slowly. Nothing to harvest yet. If its the floats causing the problem ...

http://store.summitracing.com/egnsea...1&autoview=sku

but I'd check the needle/seat for dirt and power valve (maybe blown).

Holley brass floats found locally???? Only if you have a real hard core speed shop in your area. Another place would be a large marina that does a lot of engine work.

Steve,

You are sure correct about the greeting card scam. My e-mail scanner will scan them and stop them from getting into my computer but some others around here have gotten the virus from them. There is a place that furnishes a test file if anyone wants to test their virus program. It is eicar.org and I normally just cut and paste the line of garbage that they use to simulate a virus into a test file that I make. But it can be downloaded directly from their site into a text file. Also lately they are using the classmates.com to try and get to you, but I have only heard of a couple of these so far. Ass Holes should be taken out and given real viruses and left to live through them.

Ron

I am on the greater Detroit area. Brass flaots may be easier than a few other parts.

Got my corner and peak posts in on my new barn, that took all morning.

Tru,
Good luck with that

Ron,
I heard they have found one of the six people that are sending these out. They made $34 million last year by selling bogus anti virus software for viruses that did not even exist in your system.

Here is how it worked.
You would click on a link or open an attachment and you would get a genuine "looking" pop up seemingly from MS. That would tell you your system is infected. Then there would be a link to click for a free scan. Once you clicked the free scan they would tell you your system has _________ viruses and Trojans and links to porno files. To protect your privacy Buy this product for $19.95 and it will completely erase these traces.

People would buy the "program" and the system would appear clean.

Of course there was never a problem to begin with. They just scammed you. The software has no real purpose. It appears to be scanning your system and it does scan certain areas. These files are then sent back to the company for identity theft use.

$34 Million reported from this one clown.

I am in the wrong business!

Tru,

What has happened. Just My Luck Has Run Out doesn't explain much. Hope that is is nothing serious. Please elobrate on this some so we can all chip in with our worthless advice.

Warren,

the below should take cae of all of yourn future computer problems.

Ron

Old Harold
I was having trouble with my computer. So I called Harold the computer guy, to come over. Harold clicked a couple of buttons and solved the problem.
He gave me a bill for a minimum service call. As he was walking away, I called after him, "So, what was wrong?" He replied, "It was an ID ten T error." I didn't want to appear stupid, but nonetheless inquired, "An, ID ten T error? What's that . in case I need to fix it again?"
Harold grinned.... "Haven't you ever heard of an ID ten T error before?"
"No," I replied.
"Write it down," he said, "and I think you'll figure it out."
So I wrote down . I D 1 0 T
I used to like Harold.

Warren,

Boy, you really have it hard. Get up, eat, rest for a while, take a drive, come home and take a nap, eat again, then rest for a while until it is time for bed. I am jealous.
