If he does it should be in the middle of the desert with no water or people within 100 miles. That would give him time to crash and not harm anyone. Besides he knows his limitations. Driving off into canals is his crowning achievement.

Fred,
You need this sign to post next to your Cobra at the next car show.

I did not think there was any doubt Ron was King here.
Congrats Ron.

Darn it Ron, thanks for pointing out that I make the most worthless posts of anyone. But I do make some in the other forums. I just don't know enough to be of much help on most of the problems.

RON (CW)
No worries, I know you are the busiest guy on this site.
RON, (old man Ron)LOL
Worthless, are you kidding. If I knew half as much as you do at my age I'd be set. I just hope it doesn't take me 2,800 years to learn it.
BTW:
If you can believe this we are expecting our first 100* in Texas this year. GRR we have had it too nice for too long. I think since the rains finally stopped here we are getting back to the heat of Texas weather. Right now it is the humidity that is a monster.

Holy cow, and I thought I posted a bunch.
Warren and Ron, well that just figures.
I am tired. I think I'm gonna do 8 hours and go home.
Fred, great picture. Warren will be looking at his 3900 plus pictures of his car trying to find out which one to post next.

Tru
I only post new pictures that I took from a ride over the last day or two. You do remember what its like to drive a Cobra? Any progress on welding or brazing the side pipes?
I want to see a picture of your yellow carb!
Only 96°F outside. Too hot for a ride!
Hey Ron - how was the doctors visit? Hope he/she did not remove anything you do not use anymore!

Warren,
You are going to give Tru a complex if you keep harassing him about the lack of driving he has done in the Cobra. I haven't done a lot more but I have an excuse. It is called HEAT. And I too would like to see a picture of your yellow Carburetor Tru.
The doctors visit was kind of unsettleing in some ways. Nearly everything was ok except my brain, heart, and nerves. Actually it wasn't as bad as I had expected. And my elbow is just a deep bruise of the large muscle and he said that may take a month or so to go away as it is really bruised and I keep moving the arm. I am to go back in 6 months barring any problems for another test to follow up on a couple of minor things.
Steve,
Wow, 100 degrees there is like 115 here. Finally you will be able to relate to what we are talking about when we say it is 117 and so hot you almost melt. Just a little humidity at those temperatures goes a long ways. I believe they said the heat index one of those days was around 132.

Well it is usually 103* here everyday this time of year. So we have had a pleasant break from the mundane.
I tell you it has been nice here so far all summer long. Even with the rain it has been a good summer as far as temperatures are concerned.

I guess the 96°F weather here would be considered as Texas winter?

All of this weather is too hot for my black leather.
The winter preparations have started, we are making peach Jam. In about four weeks we will be making apple butter and apple sauce.
Two more cuttings should fill the wood barn.
