Fred,
Welcome to the world of Root Canals. I have had one in my life and swore never again. Tooth had infected the gums and I had to go in four straight days while they drained, drilled, and dug to get all of the infection out. I told my dentist if it ever happens again to pull it as I can get by with two teeth.

Wimps! Root canals are fun. I've had about 6 and they are easy. No pain at all. Or maybe you are going to the wrong dentist. Nah, you are just wimps.
No kidding. My last root canal was without any problem. The dentist was a young Chinese girl about 25 years old. She only does root canals.
Oh, I almost forgot ... good morning to ya! Its only 60°F but supposed to hit 80°F this afternoon. I may have to go for a ride. As Tru would say ...Yahoo
Kristen - my turtle is NOT odd. Frenchy is another story. I'm sure that Josh can tell you stories that Fred does not want made public.

Warren,
You have a warped sense of humor if you enjoy root canals. Of course when you grow up and become older, I am sure that it will change. The weather here has cooled down and it only shows 89 for the high the next 5 days.
I am thinking of buying an Attack Turtle so I can be like that football player except I would have Turtle fights instead of dog fights.

Good morning everyone.
I have never had a root canal and I hope I never have to. When Carrie and I first met I had all four wisdom teeth and one other molar pulled at the same time. It was two days after my 28th birthday. I thought I was going to die. I have never been as sick before or since. I could not eat for days.
The dentist came highly recommended by my regular dentist. They were in the same office and my dentist did not do surgery, WHAT? Anyway, after I got back on my feet I went to my regular dentist and told him to never help me out with another referral.
Geese is was bad.

Steve, I know what you mean. During my ride this afternoon, the temperature got all the way up to 81°F. Forecast for next 3 days is sunny with high temp of 80°F.
No car show tomorrow. Maybe I'll go for a looooong ride north of Boston.

Mike,
I am glad that you finally got some rain to help knock some of that ash out of the air. We finally got a light shower two days ago and it really helped here as there were two days that we couldn't see the sun because of the smoke from the fire up near Lassen and Susanville. I believe they about have it under control after two weeks and it showered lightly yesterday which helped a lot. Now the weather is getting cold and it is just 57 degrees this morning. Oh well, at least I won't miss going for rides as I have no car any more.

A turtle fight would probably take a decade to finish.

Good news Warren !
Frenchy has said she will move up there, sleep in your bed & eat your flies while she cheerleads for Turtle. No matter have many years or decades this fight takes.
Let me know when to send her your way.

Tru,
Glad you got in some driving. It is trying to rain here right now and I couldn't drive even if I still had my car. But we need rain really bad and I hope we get more than just the light sprinkle we have had so far.

Fred
Turtle says there is not enough penicillin in the world to "cover" a visit from Frenchy. Now that the Pats have destroyed Buffalo, I think I'll tape the rest of the NASCAR race and go for my second ride today. Another sunny day with temp of 80°F. I cannot take all of this good weather! I'm spending all my money on gas!

Well, I can confirm the spending money on gas.
Dang, four hours of driving on $25.00 of gas.
Saw a nice art show ( no pictures ) and did some freeway driving.
What a good weekend!
