Great Buy For Warren,

Here is your chance to own your own bridge. Then who knows, maybe a tunnel will come up for sale.

Too long a drive for me, but its next door to Tru. I already own lots of bridges and tunnels. And the ongoing maintenance will cost me (and you) some $$$$ every year.

Its still 61°F outside, but temp dropping. I hope the street dry out quickly so I can go for a ride.

Ron61 11-27-2007 05:51 AM

It is warm there. Just in the 40s here right now and only supposed to get into the low 60s today. No matter since I have no car at all now. Comet is in to have the ignition switch replaced. I will stay inside with the heater going and play with the pups.

Ron :)

wtm442 11-27-2007 02:29 PM

Went for a nice ride this afternoon. Temp was about 52°F, but when the sun went behind the clouds, it got cold quickly. Spent about an hour riding around. Did take some videos, and I'll post them later if they are presentable.

65LA 11-27-2007 05:54 PM

I'm going to bounce in this thread since you're talking weather...
all I can say is... Baby, it's cold outside!

wtm442 11-27-2007 07:48 PM

Lezza

Where are you located? It got up to 60 °F here in the Boston area. But its now 34°F at 11PM. This afternoon was nice. Went for a ride, and took a video.

Ron61 11-28-2007 02:20 AM

:)

Warren,

Nice video. To bad you didn't include yourself in it so we could see you freezing in the cold. That would have made Tru very happy.

Ron

HI Cobra 11-28-2007 03:39 AM

Warren,
Nice video, bet that felt good! I couldn't help but notice the trees looked different from videos earlier this year. I'll be looking forward to your spring
videos when the trees pop with the leaves. That was one time of year I really
loved when I lived in that area. Here - they're always green, and I'm NOT
complaining about that!

Ron61 11-28-2007 03:59 AM

:)

Flip,

You and Ernie just have it to good over there. Maybe we can get the Mt. Shasta Goddess to send some of her weather your way. The trees here go from green straight to brown with very little color because of the way our weather has been the past few years. There used to be lots of color over in the canyons. Darn, I miss Spring and Fall.

Ron :(

wtm442 11-28-2007 04:59 AM

It's only 32°F outside. Brrrrrrrrr. Time for breakfast. Maybe I'll take a video of my breakfast preparation!

I love the fall around here ...especially the fall colors. Kinda breaks up the summer/winter seasons.

On the other hand ...
MA legislation under review which would make spanking a crime. Hmmmm. Big Brother is watching. I do not approve of spanking, but big brother is getting bigger with every breath we take. You can get a big fine here for not wearing your seat belt ... but hundreds of thousands of kids ride school buses every day without seat belts!

Don't get me going ....

Ron61 11-28-2007 05:35 AM

Warren,

It is cold and the wind is blowing here this morning as usual. as for the spanking, it is already against the law to spank any kid less than 4 years old here if I read it correctly and if you do they can charge you with child abuse and throw you in prison. We have had big fines for years if you get caught not wearing your seat belt. My Father must have worn out at least three razor straps on me when I was a kid and never when I didn't deserve it either. I just don't believe in the punishing a kid by telling them they shouldn't have done something. Wish that worked for old men. I could go rob a few banks and then have some of the things I need and just acknowledge that maybe I shouldn't have done it. Have I got you going yet??

Ron %/

wtm442 11-28-2007 07:03 AM

Naaaaa

I was never spanked as a child, and look how well I turned out. **) :D  :JEKYLHYDE %/ :(

I agree that spanking should be stopped. There are other ways to "correct" a childs behavior.

But its the inconsistancy of BIG BRUDDA that gets me going.

How about the Tedasaurus getting an $8M advance on his upcoming book. I guess it pays to be fat, dumb and happy. I'm only 2 out of those 3.

Ron61 11-28-2007 07:24 AM

:o

I bet there won't be a chapter in it about his drunken driving and drowning that woman. Wonder if I could get an advance if I wrote a book about him. Na, nothing worth writing about there. :)

As for the spanking, I have nothing against it as long as it isn't to hard. As I said, I have probably been spanked with a razor strap more that any other three people put together. I learned all kinds of ways to make it sting less. And look how long I have lived. And I haven't even committed any crimes and blamed them on the fact I was spanked when I was young. Darn, I should be allowed to do anything I want now after all these years as I have saved all of these excuses and not used them

Ron :p

It just doesn't seem right to be passing laws that would cut into the Ho Sister's income when they go to all the trouble of a "special visit" with you.%/

Ron61 11-28-2007 08:31 AM

Fred,

( I was never spanked as a child, and look how well I turned out. )

I think you had better send them for another and longer visit with Warren.

Ron :D

trularin 11-28-2007 10:35 AM

Warren has his video all over the site.

Well, it was 12 this morning. A bit nippy for November.

Is it spanking a child or spanking in general. Warren will be disappointed.

All this freeking cold weather, I am gonna run out of wood by March.

:D :D

Ron61 11-28-2007 10:38 AM

:3DSMILE:

Tru,

Cheer up and enjoy the warm weather now before the real cold gets there. Warren is against spanking a child for any reason and he used the I was never spanked and look how I turned out line to get his point across. Best reason I have seen in a long time for spanking.

Ron

wtm442 11-28-2007 11:55 AM

Beam me up Scottie - time for my spanking.

Only about 40°F here today Tru, but my Rube Goldberg solar porch works well. I have the thermostat set at 63°F downstairs and with the fan in the window to the porch, it gets up to about 70°F in all downstairs rooms on a good sunny day. Of course, with the early sunset, its about time to shut off the fan.

Ron61 11-29-2007 02:56 AM

Warren,

Your porch must be built just right to catch the sun. The back side of my house does, but I have double pane windows that open on opposite sides and there is no way to put a fan in one of them. It is 41 here this morning but we have had several days of light and very cold wind. My sinuses have my throat so sore I can hardly talk. I just don't get along well with wind any more. It was much nicer way back before the Earth started having wind.

Ron :p

wtm442 11-29-2007 04:33 AM

Yep, its nice to have a full length porch on the back of the house. Its facing almost due south so it gets the sunshine.

Ugly forecast for today. Rain but sleet and snow about 50 miles north of me. Guess the Mt Shasta Goddess missed again. She's a trollop. Worse than the Humpin' Ho Sisters. :p

Hey Ron - the puppies still getting better with the new diet? Have you started eating it too? **) **) That reminds me - time for some breakfast.
