Joe,
You aren't the only one that wanted to stay in bed this morning. And the temp. server did sort of take on a life of it's own.

Good morning all. Looks like CC is up and running again - no wonder I
was getting a "site prohibited" notice last night when the change over was
being done. Guess I'll get back to bed - only 3 am here.

Flip,
If you are up already, why go back to bed? Stay up and enjoy the sunrise. Heck, give Ernie a call and wake him up. When he answers ask him if he is awake and if he says yes, then just say good and hang up.

Joe,
Back when I was working and had to work 30 and 40 hours straight at times, we had a guy that would call the motel any time I got a chance to sleep and ask me some question. I asked him to stop doing it and he wouldn't so one morning around 2:30 I called him and asked him if he was awake. He said ,"Yes now what do yo want?" I told him nothing I just wanted to wake him up. He never bothered me after that.

morning everyone.
Well good to see we are back in the old nest again. Looks like there are many threads that will have to be started over (or forgotten about completely)
Does this mean the argument that angered HLC never happened? Just kidding K, I am still on your side!!!!!!

Steve,
That is one thread that should be left in cyberspace. I hope that Kristen will start posting again when she has some time.

Good Morning World
I guess that I subconsciously knew about the CC switchover. How else could I have slept until 9:30 AM? How about some late breakfast and a nap, cuz its
SNOWING

Warren,
I told you that you would keep on and make the Mt. Shasta Goddess mad. Hope that you have a big stock of food and fuel oil. This could be the snow of the Century.

Two meals and two naps so far today. New record.
Snow has stopped falling, so I guess I'll have to go burn some fossil fuel in the snow-blower. Got about 8 inches of the stuff, but 20 miles inland got anywhere from 12 to 18 inches. 20 miles south of me on the ocean got less than 2 inches of Mt Shasta dandruff.
Guess I'll record Crossing Jordan and watch it after getting rid of the snow.
The worst part of having the main site back up is having to look at Fred's avatar.

Life is rough Warren. It must take about 10 to 20 minutes to "shovel" the walk.

I can shovel the front walk in less than 5 minutes. Its only about 15 feet long. But I use the snowblower cuz the driveway is about 80 feet long. It may not be a 1/4 mile like yours Tru, but it is 100% non-dirt.
Snow was very heavy slush ... only about 3 inches or so.

Warren,
We had a great day today. Not as warm as Freds but I have been outside almost all days since I got home from the doctor. I did put the exhaust extensions on the 69 Cobra and ran it for a while as it hadn't been started in over two months. Showed too as I had to crank it over 5 times before it took off. Streets are to wet to be driving it as I would have liked to get the rear end grease and transmission oil all warmed up. But with those old 39 year old bias ply tires, it is very easy to break the rear end loose, even on that big car. And we have just partly cloudy in the forecast for the next two days.
