I have a total replacement cost policy and as the value rises, so does the cost of replacing everything. Auto I am waiting on a response from my agent to tell me why it went up.

Tru
Only got about 3 inches of the Mt Shasta dandruff yesterday. But it was heavvvvvvvy stuff. Love my snowblower.

About 10 miles away the snow depths were in the area of 12 to 16 inches. We just missed the big Goddess dump!

Oh Goddess Ms K, please stay and play with us. We need some sanity around these parts. Please stay. Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaseeeeeeeee

I got your Christmas card ... thanks. Nice picture of the kids.

Fred, you rascal. I just read a story in the paper about UFO sightings in the Stephenville, TX area. By any chance are the UFOs (Ugly Frog Outings) the Humpin Ho Sisters?

Joe Wicked - thanks for the offer but I have a garage for my "future" Cobra.
Now all I have to do is get one!

Fred - thanks for the link, I'm in the process of getting logged on (I think).
It will take a while to get settled in but am looking forward to it.

I have been way too busy lately so please pardon the late responses.

Saw a billboard that said:

Need help?

Call Jesus.

1-800-005-3787

So I did and a Mexican showed up with a tow truck!

Flip, I heard Warren is wealthy, ask him to just buy you one.

Ron, we have the same sign here, except the person shows up in a pickup.

HLC, hey there. Hope the kids are having a great time.

Tru, I think Warren is having way too much fun with the snow to think about
Cobras for others - maybe just enough time to remember riding in his.

My game plan is to get some furniture there (my wife is looking forward to
that (shopping!), try to recover financially, then see if I can squeak a
Kirkham, since I'll be somewhere where one can drive one of these cars.
I think this won't happen over night.

Flip,

Since you will be coming into either LAX or San Francisco most likely, you will be much closer to me that to Fred. And it isn't that far over to Kirkhams. I would be happy to store your Cobra for you while you are back on the island. Complete security, drive it just enough to keep everything in good shape. And then you could drive it to Texas when you come to stay for a while. I believe Ernie had his shipped from Oakland to the islands but am not sure. Anyway as much as I post about Texas, there is some great places there and I have been over most of the state. I love their way of thinking too.

Warren,

Found you a new girlfriend for your Avatar. But you may have to stretch the Cobra a bit to get her into it. She is 7" 4", weighs 320 pounds and lives in Holland. But the height is about right for you. At least the 4"part.

Warren,
No one else had figured that out .
They have been doing some serious partying lately and have been flying pretty low.

Seeing as how you figured it out,I've got another Strange Texas Animal Occurance (STAO) for you.

A guy is driving around the back woods of Texas and he sees a sign in front of a broken down shanty-style house "Talking Dog for Sale."

He rings the bell and the owner appears and tells him the dog is in the backyard. The guy goes into the back yard and sees a nice looking Labrador retriever sitting there. "You talk?" he asks. "Yep," the lab replies.

After the guy recovers from the shock of hearing a dog talk, he says "So, what's your story?" The Lab looks up and says, "Well, I discovered that I could talk when I was pretty young. I wanted to help the government, so I told the CIA and they had me sworn into the toughest
branch of the armed services...the United States Marines. You know one of their nicknames is "The Devil Dogs."

In no time at all they had me jetting from country to country, sitting in rooms with spies and world leaders; because no one figured a dog would be eavesdropping. I was one of their most valuable spies for eight years running, but the jetting around really tired me out, and I
knew I wasn't getting any younger.

So, I decided to settle down. I retired from the Corps (8 dog years is 56 Corps years) and signed up for a job at the airport to do some undercover security, wandering near suspicious characters and listening in. I uncovered some incredible dealings and was awarded a batch of medals. I got married, had a mess of puppies, and now I'm just
retired."

The guy is amazed. He goes back in and asks the owner what he wants for the dog.

"Ten dollars," the guy says.

"Ten dollars? This dog is amazing! Why on earth are you selling him so cheap?"

"Because he's such a bull$hitter .. He never did any of that
$hit. He was in the Navy!"

YEAH FRED,

You have to watch out for those sailors! They tend to lie about wind strength, the size of waves, and their jobs too!!!!

Ron, mighty generous offer there - like I said, it is going to be a while before
I am able to get another Cobra. I will be bringing my guns to Texas. Thank
God I found a place where they are legal. Hawaii sucks in that regard with
their excessive restrictions.

How can anyone living in Hawaii, spend part of their retirement in Texas? It must be a relative thing (family) or cost savings.

I had a gourmet dinner tonight. Grilled cheese sandwich with chicken noodle soup! Not too many dishes to wash either!

Warren, it won't be in the winter or summer - just spring and fall.
I'm not retiring yet, just planning on redistributing my time in new locations.
The house I got there is a palace compared to what is available in Hawaii
(unless you are Bill Gates) and we love the location. I have been in Hawaii
for over 30 years am ready for some change but am not leaving full time.
I will be closer to what few relatives I have and it is a lot less expensive there. You are right about that call.

Flip,

Getting everything settled when you move is a pain. I spent my whole life moving from one state to another. But once you get everything settled I think you will really enjoy it and you will be able to take trips and ses some of the mainland that you may not have seen before. There are still some great parks and historical sites that are very interesting. I hope everything goes smooth for you.

Ron,
You remind us every so often about just how old you are.

I think most of us have a hard time getting our minds wrapped around that large a number.

This might help :

A. A billion seconds ago it was 1959.

B. A billion minutes ago Jesus was alive.

C. A billion hours ago Ron was living
in the Stone Age.

D. A billion days ago no-one but Ron walked on the earth
on two feet.
