Flip,
Except for the part of anything over 80 miles per hour, that speed law is not far from what we have here. Here the fines are huge if you are 5 MPH over the limit. I think the class is an option for the first one to maybe get a break on the fine and I don't think there is any jail time unless you are really doing something bad, IE drinking and speeding or racing & etc. That is the nice thing about our road track. It is paved and just over 3 miles around and over the low hills and about 7 miles out of town in the desert. I can drive down to it in around an hour and we have a small paved oval track at Anderson which is about a 20 minute drive and the drag strip is at Redding. And if you want to see the 70 MPH speed limit broken, try following one of the 18 wheelers. They never seem to get pulled over.

Warren, we can tell you are suffering from withdraws. It will soon pass. Too much time from behind the wheel does this to some Cobra owners.
Ron and I understand your pain. Give it time, soon you will be able to go a complete day without driving the Cobra.
Ron, I think he needs one of them thar "montras" or whatever it is they chant to get calm.

Warren,
Try three months without even starting the cars. When we were having our Biblical rains, it was so dark and depressing I wouldn't even go into the garage. And I can't run them in there anyway as it takes a month for all the exhaust fumes to clear out. It is still in the upper 80s and humid here and is supposed to be in the 90s this afternoon.

Praise be to the Mt Shasta goddess
All of my flowers that I started from seed are getting waterlogged ....
There is enough water here to keep Northern CA, Michigan and Hawaii happy.

Warren,
Hawaii doesn't need your water - we have plenty all araound us. Went for
a very nice ride to the North Shore today - may have to do a repeat tomorrow. Pele is the goddess to be feared here - only on the big island
though. Her rain is hot stuff!

Warren,
We are now starting to enter the hot Summer weather with temperatures in the 90s and humidity that makes it seem as if they are in the 100s already. There is a get together of car people June 9th at the Outback Steak House and if I don't change my mind I think I will take the 69 Cobra up there that evening. Just a lot of car guys, a band, and of course eats. No plaques, so no competition to vote for my car. Just fun, talking and lying to each other. I may take a drive up to Lassen Park soon. that is only about 70 miles and some very good roads and scenery. I think they finally got the road through the park open as they were having problems as the snow blowers couldn't blow the snow over the banks it was so deep so they had to haul a lot of it out. I may also go over to the Weaverville show as I enjoy that drive and like to talk to the guys who have gold dredges in the river. So many great places to go and so short of a time to do it. It would be more fun if I had someone to go with me, but no one around here will go for drives at all any more.

Hey Tru,
I think we should all go out for drives today and post some pictures for Warren to enjoy. I wish there was someone around here that would go on drives with me as it is a lot more fun to have more than just one car. But I do get all the questions when I stop.
Warren,
Don't worry about the flowers. All of mine stayed under water for the better part of a month and are doing great. In fact I am having to water them now. wish I had taken some pictures of the roses when they were all in bloom as they really looked good. Now everything is dried up and dusty and just weeds growing.

Monday again,
I just don't like Mondays at all for some reason. And it is starting to really warm up here along with the humidity. I had to leave the air conditioner set higher last night for the first time but I refuse to lay there and be miserably hot all night. I talked to that Cop friend of mine that has the Cuda and we have tentative plans to go to the get together at the Out Back Steak House Friday evening. Of course by then I may be dead and it won't matter.

What has Monday got to do with it not raining? Does that mean it rains the rest of the week in your area? It looks as if we are going to have a nice but hot and humdid day today.

Did you happen to misplace a package on the windshield of a white SUV in Northridge this morning?

Warren,
Did you find one and is it full of money? If so then that could be mine. Send me 2/3rds of all you found and I will give you the other 1/3rd as a reward. Oh yea, and don't forget to send me the money to assure the return of my money which should be at least 1/2 more than the total you found.
