I quit smoking a long time ago, but the damage was already done. Wish I had never done it.
Takes a long time to write.
All total, we got about 8 inches. Thats not real bad, but it makes going to work fun. I have noticed people who drive small cars are either nuts or have bowling ball size Kahunas. I75, a major freeway is ice covered with ridges of snow. I and a few of other less than crazy souls are storming along at 40 MPH. I look in my rearview and I see a small red Komakazi flying up in the left lane. Had to be doing 70.
This little red car passes us and is up the road in no time...on ice.
Lord, I wish I was young again so I can have nerve to push the snow envelope. I do not know if that little car made it to where it was going, but there were a number of cars in the ditches.
Well, enough of the drive to work adventure.

Tru,
You want to see fun, watch between here and Redding when we get enough snow to cover the freeway. Hardly any of these people have ever driven in snow and in that 10 miles you will see at least 10/15 cars and trucks off in the center divider and up on the banks. And the ones with the big SUVs and pickups won't slow down at all as they think those things won't slide. Then you watch them and they see something up ahead and stand on the brakes. Makes for a lot of interesting spins when the snow is just enough to be slushy and slick. I think some of these smaller cars may handle better in the snow than some of the larger ones.

OMG - there is a bright orange orb in this afternoon's sky. Have not seen that in more than a week of rain.
I'm going for a ride ( in my Merc). Vroooom, vroooom, guess I'll have to get a V-8 sounds CD and play it.

Warren,
You mean you finally have some sun. Be a man and take the Cobra for a drive. Wasn't that what you said to Tru the other day?

John,
Thanks. I was just tired of that old avatar. I may put the galloping moose back on just to give Warren something to look at.
Mike,
Wow, you set a record. A triple post. The site did have some problems yesterday. I tried to submit a post and it looked as if it was going in and then I got a Page Not Available error. I hit the back button and my post was still there but I couldn't do anything as I was locked to that page. I had to go off line and then come back on and when I did, I saw that the post had actually went in. The site seemed really slow at that time also.

Mike,
Maybe we should report this to Brent as he is still looking for some things that just don't seem quite right. I have noticed several times that when I submit a post it will start and then flash as if it has refreshed the page and then start over and put the post in.

Tru,
There were some weird things going on yesterday during that one time frame. Some people got locked on like I did and had to drop off the net to get unlocked, others had page errors, and others had triple posts. Then after a period of time everything seemed to get back to more or less normal. I still get the start then pause and then it acts as if it refreshes the page on most of my posts when I hit the submit button, but some of them just zip right in like they did at first.

Huh? What are you talking about? What other thread?
I rented a bike here on the island after I read Fred's post about his new Harley. I think it needs a good set of shocks.

Warren,
Nice Bike. How is the weather there on the island? I hope that you didn't get any of that really crazy stuff that was back there somewhere.
