Tru,
Warren only takes the Cobra out when it is cold on days he pushes it out front to take a picture by a pile of snow. He messed up and left his tracks where he had walked while pushing it in the last picture.

Filled up the Merc tank yesterday. OMG, it was over $62.00. Cheapest price on the island is about $0.75 more than on mainland.
Here is my favorite station .... even has leaded gas

Warren,
Great picture. Now if the two pumps on the end just had then old long handles where you manually pumped the gas into the tanks on top so gravity would feed it down into the car that would be something. How do they get away with selling leaded gas? I thought that the Govt. banned that everywhere or is that where Kennedy fills up when he has someone to take for a ride.

I have NO idea if they have (had) leaded gas. I have no idea when the pic was taken. I have no idea where it was/is located.
I'm Sgt Schultz and I know nothing.

We had already figured that out. Still a nice picture. Our two days of really nice weather are over and the cold wind is really blowing today. Darn!!

Tru,
You know Warren. He can only remember who he told what for so long. I hope that he gets some good weather so he can play golf. Heck, he may ever see Uncle Teddy on the course.

Been raining frogs and turtles all day. Local flooding all over parts of eastern Mass.
It was a good day for naps and watching TV.

A very hard and cold wind has been blowing here the past two days and that has ruined the two really nice days that we have had. But no big thing as I feel so bad I can't hardly get around.

Got 6 inches last thursday, now we are supposed to get more tonight.
I am getting a bit tired of all this.
Hey Ron, what ever happened to the coup? Is it still in the shop?

Tru,
I don't expect to ever see the Coupe again. I gave up on having all that work done as he just wasn't getting anywhere and told him to keep it. When the weather bets better and if my health gets where I can drive down there I will probably just sign it over to him and he can either finish it and sell it or do whatever he wants. I just don't have the money or time left to mess around for another year or so to get a car where I can drive it.

Sorry to hear that you are not able to enjoy your car Ron. Thinking about getting older and not getting to try my dreams is what is motivating me the most right now. Just yesterday I was 18 and had plenty of time to follow my dreams. Last night, I was 22 and just married, this morning was a surprise at 30, and now I am turning 35 soon. Kind of a kicker on how fast time goes by. I want to get started and have many years to enjoy my car before I can no longer do it. I want to have many memories to keep me sane in my elder years instead of just a few.
If you sign the car over to him, he is one lucky guy. I would think I hit the lottery if I was working on a car for someone, and they got to the point of not being able to enjoy the car so they signed it over to me.

Joe,
I am not happy about it as I loved the car and it was a blast to drive. But at the rate he is getting all of that stuff done, I won't be alive when it is finished. It will still be track legal and all, but if anyone wanted to show it they would have to have it painted as there are a lot of rock picks and especially around the nose. I got it to drive, not look at and I drove it quite a bit until that worthless computer went all to he**. And I know that getting that dash out and following all of those wires to see what went where is a long and slow process as there was no wiring diagram included and they didn't use over half of the outputs from the computer so he has to see which ones they used and what they controlled so he can wire it to work with a regular carb. and MSD Ignition. I loved the roadster until it got where I couldn't drive it in our Summers here without getting sick. So I have had my time and enjoyed it and have nothing to complain about.

Yea I understand that it is a lot of work, but I still think that he is a lucky guy if he gets the car. I wouldn't care if I spent 5 years working on it every weekend, for no pay, I would still feel that I was very blessed by getting this gift. Just the way I see things.
I hope things look up for you and you do get at least 1 more round in the car.
Edit to add:
I am a wiring/electronics guy, so I understand what the computer would be like. The easiest way would be hard to determine, but I may have just stripped all wiring and started over. At least that way, you know where you stand and where you need to go. Not an easy job either way.

Joe,
If my eye site wasn't so bad and I could have gotten the dash out, I could have traced those wires and fixed the connector for the head lights and front turn signals in a week at most. I did all of that in my roadster, but back then I was able to see much better. All the years of looking at small printed circuit boards through strong magnifying glasses really ruined my eyes. and I had to do that before they had the monitors that you can now just scan a board and watch the monitor for a problem. I did take the cover off where the computer was mounted and looked at it and I don't see how it could be so hard to do. The main thing is he is just messing around on it and doing most of his work at his shop where he has a huge backlog of engines and stuff to build for the racing crowd around here. I haven't even been able to get him to answer an e-mail or talk to me on the phone for three months now.

Just me personally, I wouldn't sign over the car to him then, just for that reason. Even if you can't enjoy it. I am very picky on my stuff, and what I expect when someone is working on something of mine. If it was me, I would get my car, pay him what I owed him and go elsewhere with my car and be done with it.
Please don't take my comments as me telling you what to do, just how I believe I would handle it, based off of what I have done in the past. If I was local to you, I would offer my services to help you out. I wish there was a bigger market for that very kind of work as I know I can do it. I am not the fastest by any means, but if I am going to put my name on something, I ensure it is not OK, but is right and the best job I could have done. Good luck to you, and back to work for me.

Oh heck Joe, you aren't telling him anything new.
ROn, sorry for asking.
Well now, it feels like is will be above 25 today. I hanven't checked, but As I hear it, snow again tonight.
Wish I would hit the keys in the order my mind reads. I would have to spell check everything.
Warren, I think there is a bit of weather heading your way.
