Joe,

I have no problem at all with anything any of you tell me. I know that you mean it in a nice way. If I could see well enough, I think I could rewire that whole car in a few days if I stayed at it. But getting in under there is a mess with all the un-used wires and my nerves have been really bad lately. That is why I have been on this darn computer so much. My doctor don't want me driving any farther than down to his office for another few days. If the weather is good I plan to try and go down to Bill's Saturday and see just what he has gotten done. He is the only person we have in this area that I would let touch one of my cars except my best friend and he doesn't have time for that kind of work as his garage is full all the time with other cars and problems. Bill does nearly all of the engine and rear end building for the drag racers and oval and dirt track racers in this area and his shop is always back logged, so he took the car to his house in his big garage to keep people from messing with it. He has two helpers but won't let them do the final work on engines or anything else as he is like you. He guarantees anything he does and he has built an engine for me before and it was great. I think he will have it ready to start and tune the carb. soon and then he can get the other things done in a short time as they aren't as much of a mess as trying to trace each wire that was used from that computer and see what it did and then know which ones to just cut out. Things will get better I am sure.

Thanks Warren,

Did you take that drive down Frog Road or whatever it was?

Uh, OH, Fred had better keep a close watch on them. They see that sign and he may come home from his Motorcycle trip to find his house has a new name.

Tru,

That is great that they are getting educated. Now when are they going to shovel some snow for you?

They live on campus.

I have one 10 hours of straight driving away and the other is 1.5 hours away, but that school has a good rep....UofM.

Well 10 hours of driving isn't that bad and it gives them some freedom. And the 1 1/2 hour drive makes it easy to get home. That way you can save the stamps and not have to mail the checks.

Nice weather here today. The wind is gusting and a little on the cool side but all in all not nearly as bad as yesterday. And no snow.

Darn Tru, you aren't old enough to be getting tired. That is one of the nice things about being my age. I am so slow that by the time I realize I am tired I am rested up again.

Had a visit by the cops a while ago. One who is a good friend was working out here today and he came by and brought his new partner to introduce him. A very young guy. Either just out of the academy or service. He really seemed very uncomfortable, but anyone that has to ride with Steve is uncomfortable after the first few miles.

The ground is covered with about 6 to 8 inches of snow and it is raining.

All of the roads will be ice by tomorrow.

I suppose I will relax and let nature run her course.

Tru,

Now you have the idea. You can't fight nature. Just sit back and relax until the SUMMER SUN gets there to melt everything. Heck, take a vacation to Alaska and enjoy the warm weather.

Good to see the tradition of Ho Frog Alley Hopping is still going strong there.

How many of the local Ho Frogs have you "met" ?

Tru
That bad weather missed us so far. Had 3 days of sunny weather which is a record for the last 3 weeks here on the islands. Took some nice pics ... will have to upload and post them on my vacation thread.

Maybe time to get a couple of Sunday papers and do some serious reading.

Warren,

Yesterday on the History Channel they showed the Big dig and the tiles falling. I could almost swear I saw the tail end of a Cobra vanishing into the background as some of that stuff fell.

Warren,
You are the expert in this area,so I told Frenchy I'd ask you.

Last night Frenchy was with a South Texas Cowboy.
When Frenchy hopped up on the bed, this guy looked at her, winked, then told her she had an A$$ on her like a $40 cow.

Is that good or bad ???

Fred,

Where are you going on your shake down tour? I would guess that you would try some mountain, desert, flat land, and other types of terrain. When you get ready for your Arkansas tour let me know.
Are you taking Frenchy so she can earn some food money along the way?

I'll be going thru the Davy Crockett National Forest - Sam Houston National Forest - The Big Thicket - Angelina National Forest - Sabine National Forest. In that order.

About Frenchy.

It is kind of a toss up with her going or not.

Her earning enough for maybe lunch Versus the chance of having to come up with bail money for her.
