Steve,

Whatever it is, I think it must be spreading. We have a few people around here now that don't feel to well and are coughing but they really don't have the flu or a bad cold. The ones I have talked to say they have tried about every cough medicine and nothing seems to touch it. Hope that all of you get over it soon, and if you feel as lousy as the few here that have it, I know it must be miserable.

Edit: Also just to make you feel better we were supposed to have rain yesterday and never got any. But it did drop out of the 70s and into the upper 50s as it was mostly overcast all day. Darn, I wish I had my car as the past few days have been perfect for driving.

Ron

LOL, I am not sure it would be worth it. I'd of course have to visit with Warren on those details.

Hey I think I caught this crap over the phone. I was fine then I was talking to someone on the phone that had it and next thing I know I had it. Is that even possible. Yes, I know the answer to that for all of you thinking of some smarta$$ answer right now.

We are expecting a bad storm here after while. I may get the cars and get out of town for awhile. They say very large hail is expected and the damn insurance company still hasn't settled with me for the hail storm this time last year!

They are also saying we should get snow on Monday. LOL. I am in shorts and a golf shirt today (Sunday). Hey Ron, keep that MT. Shasta hag up there, we don't need no stinkin snow here in DFW.

Steve,

This weather is really weird any more. We were supposed to have rain yesterday and today and it is nice and sunny and in the 60s. I am surprised that you are having that kind of weather there now. Point it North toward Warren. He is used to it by now.
I hope that you get over the cough and feeling bad soon. I know what a drag that can be, especially when it just lingers.

Ron

Yea, that is a lot of views, but also look at the number of posts. And I see you are approaching the 5,000 post mark. Another good snow and ice storm and you will be there.

It sure looks like the wether is starting to turn here. Very windy right now. I hope we don't get more hail.

Hail
Ugh - I had a friend who had a 67 Chevelle that was caught in a big hail storm. What a mess.

Well, its all the way up to 40°F. Time to do some food shopping. Running low on a lot of stuff.

Then I guess I'll watch the NASCAR race. Then the Celtics are on at 6:30.

# of views will pass 100K very shortly.

Warren,

Now that you have your star and Trophy back, you can relax and start working on becoming a Senior Member. That should only take you about another couple of centuries.

I see our weather forecast is for sunny and in the low 60s for the next three days. The lake is up 78 feet, but now it will start really taking a lot more water to raise it a foot. You should see the security system they installed. Looks like a small Cheyenne Mountain Complex.

This is a 1956 Oldsmobile that an Aunt of mine bought brand new and it has set out in the weather all these years. It was the first car with any power that I ever drove and that was when I just had a learners permit. She used it until 1959 and then bought a new one and this one has just set all those years. I wish I had the ability and money to restore it. I am going to talk to the guy who has my Coupe today about getting rid of it so I can get on with my life as he doesn't seem to be doing anything at all but ignoring me. Tru, Joe, Steve, if I decide to give it to anyone would any of you be interested in making arrangements to pick it up and have it hauled to your places? I don't know what the outcome of our talk today will be, but I am fed up with paying insurance and registration for a car that I don't think I will live long enough to ever drive again.

Warren,

Neither is Earl's flying plane. I think Brent may have changed some settings over the weekend. I will wait a while and see and if it doesn't start working it was time for a change anyway. Maybe a turtle.

we wouldn't need him!

Time for some breakfast.

After that little cheer I think your Gold cup shrank just a little.

Joe,

Tru asked first and after I talk to Bill and see just what is going on, if he isn't going to finish it, then it has to go. I can't see well enough to get in under there and fix the wiring that needs to be fixed. The high beams don't work and the front turn signals don't work. But he told me 4 month ago he was going to have the motor ready to start then and so far as I have been able to find out over the phone he hasn't done much of anything. That is why I have tanked up on nerve pills this morning and am going to drive down to his shop after while and have a talk to him face to face. This is just to much and I don't need this stress. He is the best guy we have around here and is always snowed under, but what good is it if you do great work but won't finish anything. I don't think I am going to live long enough to ever see the car finished and I had really looked forward to driving it a lot. On the bright side, this isn't the first big mistake I have ever made.

Ron
