Joe,
Better stock up on shorts and short sleeve shirts for the days ahead. Better yet, bring Gore down and have him explain how hot it is there now.

Now I know I am falling behind. For some reason, I did not get a gold cup, I am like four pages behind in the posts and I still am sick.
Who do I see about fixing my trophy?
Ron, I think I caught a glimpse of something about the coupe, did you get it back?
I have pleurisy and a bronchial infection. I hurt a lot...so no more jokes.

Tru,
Brent posted a thread on All cobra talk. I think they got your name wrong on the list. There are three or four people he cannot figure out who they are, YOU are one of them. Your CC name is spelled wrong on the list. Send Brent an email.
Fred:
You need a bigger bike!!
Warren,
I may try the hot totty (sp). I think it is allegies though. But it is a good reason for a shot.

The drive home is going to be interesting today. I just went and looked out the window as I realized most of the office is gone. The few vehicles left are covered in ice, and the sleet is now sleet/snow mix. The bridges will likely be icy, and I do have to cross 1 bridge that i am not looking forward to. It is on hwy 78 (2 lane hwy) and there is no shoulder/margin for error across it. The good news is it is strait and short, but it never fails, some jack hole loves to slam on breaks right on it. Even when it is dry, there are wrecks right there from people drifting into on coming traffic, so The fun is about to begin for me. At this point, I might as well finish all that I need to as the roads won't be any worse later than they are now. I may even just stay late and let all the idiots wreck, and have clear roads for my ride home.

in the big scheme of things, I'm not that much further south than you, Joe.
Still raining here, no ice, no snow.
Have set up my big project for school tomorrow in the elementary science room.
I hope we have school just so i can get this big project behind me!!!
I would hate to have to postpone it! I'm too busy later.
It is cold, though. I hate cold! i hate winter!!
35* right now... supposed to be in the 70's again on Sunday, i think.
ugh back and forth every week. up down up down up down....
no wonder everybody is sick or coughing or stuff.
gotta go!

It is supposed to be 70 here again today but without the wind. We have had a week of just great weather now. All the flowers and trees are in full bloom, so it is time for the yearly hard freeze.

Didn't really get anything. Just a very light dusting. Less than what Miles posted earlier in the week. I am convinced that the lake blocks a lot of the snow. I'll see for sure as I head into work later. Calling for more snow showers today, so maybe I'll actually be able to get some things done at work. Not many people to come screaming about the latest crisis.

Boy, did they miss the temperature for here, at least for this morning. I thought it felt cold and went out to look and it is 33 degrees. The sun is just starting to come up over the mountain so maybe it will warm up some. I hope so. I watched the weather map and it looks as if the East is going to get bad weather all the way from Texas up through Arkansas and to the Northern border and they said it would move on toward the Coast. Glad I am not in any of those areas.

On the news this AM they showed some low speed crashes from Tx. They do it every year when it snows. Love to see people skidding at 10 MPH for 150 feet and then smack into another car or the curb. Love those southern drivers.
They mentioned a town in Texas that had 9 inches of snow. WOW.

Yea they say that was the most accountable snow in 45 years in Gainsville. I looked really nice in the pictures.
Warren,
How true, when it snows here and the roads get back it seems that is permission for everyone to go faster, since they are immune to accidents. The body shops are happy today.
We got @1" but it is gone now, only a little on the roofs around here.
