This will warm your heart, just when you have lost
faith in human kindness. Someone who teaches at a
middle school in Safety Harbor , Florida , forwarded
the following letter. The letter was sent to the
Principal's office after the school had sponsored a
luncheon for the elderly. An old lady received a new
radio at the lunch as a door prize and was writing to
say thank you. This story is a credit to all
humankind. Forward to anyone you know who might need a
lift today.
Dear Safety Harbor Middle School,
God bless you for the beautiful radio I won at your
recent Senior Citizens Luncheon. I am 84 years old
and live at the Safety Harbor Assisted Home for the
Aged. All of my family has passed away. I am all
alone and I want to thank you for your kindness to an
old, forgotten lady.
My roommate is 95 and has always had her own radio;
but before I received one, she would never let me
listen to hers, even when she was napping. The other
day her radio fell off the night stand and broke into
a lot of pieces. It was awful and she was in tears.
She asked if she could listen to mine, and I told her
to kiss my a$$.
Thank you for that opportunity.
Sincerely,
Edna

Heart warming Fred and probably a made up story but it is pretty much like todays society. Nice to see that CW fixed your Avatar for you. I kind of missed the distraction while trying to read a post.

So you finally woke up Warren. Must be time for a nap by now. It was cold and poured rain here yesterday and the day before it was hot and I mowed most of the day. This morning it is overcast and cold and we are supposed to have showers.

Thanks..I'm really looking forward to this.
With BB having lost those 10#,there is now room for the Three Sisters.
The 3 Ho Sisters are looking forward to meeting lonely Park Rangers and doing a little bartering.
Speaking of Nowitski $hitski ,he closed on my sister's house last Thursday.
How is the leg doing ???

Leg still hurts. I must have pulled a groin muscle. Worst part is going down a set of stairs.
Just found another clock and reset it to daylight savings time. Maybe I'll have all the clocks on the right time by the time we go off daylight savings time.
Ten day forecast says a high of 46°F with only 2 sunny days. Super UGH. Fred, I'm on the next plane - can I replace BB on the Harley? I must be at least 150 pounds lighter.

Seems like you had the same problem before.....maybe about a year ago ? Gotta quit kicking Turtle ! Looks like he has you 2-0 now.
150# Lighter
Had no idea you weighted 350#.
If you can get BB off the back of the Harley and promise not to wear any thongs....come on down.

Fred,
Have a great trip and take some pictures. If you have a chance, log on once in a while to let us know where you are and what is going on. Wish I could be in Arkansas to meet you as you go through.
Warren,
I thought the leg had about gotten well. Hope that it is ok soon. Maybe once that lousy weather goes away it will heal quicker.

Warren, hope your leg gets better. I pulled a groin muscle a couple years ago and that took forever to heal. I am in pain myself right now. I hyper-extended my right shoulder yesterday and it hurts like hell. I hope it does not take long for the pain to go away.

Goooooooooooooood morning everyone. Boy, is it windy outside. Temp of about 29°F with wind chill in the teens.
Joe ... sorry about your shoulder. We're all getting old when all we talk about is the weather and our ailments.

Cute avatar Warren.
Joe, he probably pulled a groin doing some stunt.
Warren, tell us how you REALLY pulled that groin muscle.
Ron, email works. I don't know what is going on, but It appears to be working okay by me.
Fred, when are you going to take a real trip and come up here to Michigan?

Our nice weather is back now after being in the 30s yesterday morning. It was cold this morning but is clear and sunny and supposed to be in the 60s this afternoon and that wind has stopped. So that makes a big difference. I see several people riding their motorcycles today. Got to get one of them out of the grill of my car.
