Warren,
Wait. I will send you some of mine. No need for both of us to be paying bills.

I think we must have gotten Warren all excited about sending him some of our bills to pay. Either that or his Cap Lock key is moving around the keyboard.

Dang-it Warren,
Did I miss the cut off date again for getting my bills to you.
Note to self: Send all future bills to Warren for payment.

Weather is nice here today but: When I went to park in my spot on the roof
some street guys had stuff all over their car (a Mercedes no less) folding
their clothes. I sent them on their way then found out someone had broken
into one of our vans and stolen a bunch of hand tools. (druggie no doubt).
Sure am glad we are getting out of this area soon. Not a good start for
the day.
Hope everyone else had a better start.

Hot here today already, I am getting to go to the Nascar Truck race here on Friday. I have tickets for the Thursday qualifying, but I won't be going to it. The Saturday IRL race I had tickets, but could not go so I ended up giving them to a co-worker. At least I get to smell some burning fuel and rubber this weekend.

I think I am going to hang at Flip's place.
It is wet without rain. The plants should be going nuts!

Flip,
That was quite a start to your day. Glad those guys left without starting something.
Tru,
They have lots of rain in Hawaii. Also lots of really nice plants. Ernie even has banana trees.

Flip - that really sucks.
Just got a haircut Ron - do you remember when you had one?
Yesterday was 90°F until the sun set. But its been a lousy day today with temp of 58°F and raining constantly. Good for my veggies, but bad for a Cobra ride.
Just picked up a few things at Wal-Mart. I am still amazed that they sell name brand dungarees in my size for $8 or $10 a pair.
Hazardous waste day Saturday. Been cleaning up and getting things ready to take to the DPW yard. I can remember when we just poured the stuff down the storm drain (way back when Ron was just a puppy). Now everything is hazardous waste.

Warren,
I have Mary cut my 5 hairs and she just did them a week or so ago. No reason to pay all that money for 20 seconds work.

Ron,
I tell ya,it sure is hard to help some people.
If you would let me help you out on this,FREE,it will save on the cleaning bills in the future,
As good as you are with your hands, you could clean those old teeth I pull at the same time you are posting here.
Seems like you being able to clean them at your on pace ,at home, would appeal to you.

Just waiting for my leftover Chinese food to heat up in the oven. CC lounge is a good way to waste 10 minutes.

GMW: Thursday May 6, 2008:
After every flight, Quantas pilots fill out a form, called a "gripe sheet," which tells mechanics about problems with the aircraft. The mechanics correct the problems; document their repairs on the form and then pilots review the gripe sheets before the next flight.
Never let it be said that ground crews lack a sense of humor.
Here are some actual maintenance complaints submitted by Quantas'
pilots (marked with a P) and the solutions recorded by the maintenance
engineers (marked with an M).
(By the way, Quantas is the only major airline that has never had an accident.)
P: Left inside main tire almost needs replacement.
M: Almost replaced left inside main tire.
P: Test flight OK, except auto-land very rough.
M:Auto-land not installed on this aircraft.
P: Something loose in cockpit.
M: Something tightened in cockpit.
P: Dead bugs on windshield.
M: Live bugs on back-order.
P: Autopilot in altitude-hold mode produces a 200 feet per minute
descent.
M: Cannot reproduce problem on ground.
P: Evidence of leak on right main landing gear.
M: Evidence removed.
P: DME volume unbelievably loud.
M: DME volume set to more believable level.
P: Friction locks cause throttle levers to stick.
M: That's what they're for.
P: IFF inoperative.
M: IFF always inoperative in OFF mode.
P: Suspected crack in windshield.
M: Suspect you're right.
P: Number 3 engine missing.
M: Engine found on right wing after brief search.
P: Aircraft handles funny. (I love this one!)
M: Aircraft warned to straighten up, fly right, and be serious.
P: Target radar hums.
M: Reprogrammed target radar with lyrics.
P: Mouse in cockpit.
M: Cat installed.
And the best one for last...
P. Noise coming from under instrument panel. Sounds like a midget
pounding on something with a hammer.
M: Took hammer away from midget

Steve,
Years ago once when I was down in L.A. working, they had a news cast on and were following one of the big UPS planes. It flew right over LAX and on out into the ocean and they couldn't contact the pilots. Finally one of them came on the radio and wanted to know where they were as all he could see was water. They gave him directions and once they got headed back to land they started questioning him. Turned out both the pilot and co-copilot had been having a few before the flight and had gone to sleep. I think they were about 3 minutes from being past the point they would have have had enough fuel to get back to land.
