Tru,
7 hrs. on a tractor mowing is a lot of mowing ! How many acres is that you're doing ?

I take it your tractor doesn't have a/c,stereo or GPS hooked up to the steering and throttle with a cot out back ??

Josh is 15,hard for me to believe. It is great to see him growing and maturing, but sad at the same time.
Not sure that makes sense or not.

Fred,

He is at the ideal age now. Let him enjoy his teens while he knows everything there is to know, because once he grows out of them and the next bunch of teens comes along, he will find they now know everything and he is a has been like the rest of us.

Tru,

Nice to see that you got the mowing done. Now you can sit back and enjoy the 4th. I have done about all I am going to until tomorrow when I have to go to the doctor. Then I have to get some more bags of that redi mix cement as I have a couple of places I want to put cement so I don't have to use the weed eater there.

May I suggest one shovel full of Portland for every bag of redi-mix. Makes things like they are expected, instead of disappointment from what they are.

Mix well to a peanut butter consistancy and have at it. ( this is the part where Warren says something about Peanut butter )

Take a solid two days to get well set, but it will be as hard as a rock. Water the concrete every hour after it is set, to make it harder.

I'm not sitting around, I am going to move bricks to make a porch.

Ron, I suggest that you stop using cement and a weed eater on your body. I would think your Dr. would have told you that you should not fill any holes in your body with Redi-Mix. That is NOT the proper way to reduce unwanted hair growth.

Regarding the consistency of cement, make sure its CREAMY PNB, not chunky.

Tru,

Thanks for the tip. I am not a construction person at all so I don't know much about cement and such. Moving bricks I do know about. I loaded a 3/4 ton pick up that I used to own with so many once that it broke the wheel lugs off and the wheel fell off just as I was pulling out of the parking area. We had to unload some of them because the wrecker that came couldn't lift the back of my pick up and keep his front wheels on the ground.

Warren,

I have to be really careful about getting anything near my head and ears. With nothing but space in there, I would lose a lot of stuff if it fell into one of my ears. Every so often I shake my head just to see if anything rattles so I will know if something did fall in.

One more thing, do not leave cement on your hands or skin...it is an irritant.

Tru,

In this heat, the first thing I do after messing with anything is go in and take a COLD shower and drink about a half quart of water. And all this time I thought that I was the irritant on the site.

Happy 4th of July!!!!!!

82 today with a small assortment of clouds.

My day to relax after my nice cobra run yesterday...in between the rain drops.

You all have a safe and happy holuday.

Warren,

If your icons still don't work after trying the re-boot, then clean out all cookies and temp. Internet files and log in fresh. You can also clean out the prefetch folder as the computer will just put those files back when you go to any place or use any program that uses them.

Test ...... still does not work. Thank you Bill Gates. Warren Buffett should have given his $$ to me!

Tossed my cookies and emptied my pockets.

What a nice parade this morning. Where else can you light up the tires once per block with tons of cops around ... and they cheer too!

Warren, I think, even the site, became jealous of "ALL" your rides and punished you by not letting you use the icons.......he-he...

Now, before you go "bashing" me, I'm just kiddin, of course....no one on here would be jealous of "ALL" your rides.....................
