FRED!!!!

I didn't know you had kids in school.

Dang that was very nice of him to take you. I certainly would have taken the girl friend.

:D :D :D

Fred - I thought Josh was in his first year of college. How many kids do you have other than BB and the HHS?

Ron - goats ... or concrete and green paint.

Tru - what, no pictures?

Steve - I've had the A/C on for at least 4 days this year. :p

Joe - hows the foot doin'?

Spent about 4 hours cleaning the car today. Never even got to vacuum the inside. About 2 PM, I looked up in the sky and saw the Goodyear blimp coming my way from Boston. Thinking that would make a great picture with the Cobra, I took off. I do not need much of an excuse to go for a ride.

The blimp was out over Quincy bay about 4 miles away. After chasing it for about 5 miles, I gave up. No fair .. the blimp can take routes where there are no roads. **) The Cobra, on the other hand, does not float.

wtm442 06-13-2008 06:28 PM

Just downloaded some pics from yesterdays ride. Found a lake with a bunch of ducks and other birds. I did not have Tru's anti-aircraft gatling gun, so I left the ducks alone. :p

Cruise night yesterday. Nice plate on a Corvette.

But I really liked the flames on a different Vette. Cost $1400 to strip the clear coat, paint the flames and re-clear coat.

I like those flames too.
Bet they really look good in person.

Your disposable camera did a fine job Warren.:)

oh yeah,one kiddo.

When he told me about the tickets for Sunday,I asked if he was having a girlfriend problem.:)

Warren,
He just finished his Jr. year. A Texas Tech recruiter met with him at the end of his sophomore year. They have told him that the sooner he graduates ,the sooner he'll be in Tech.

Well,he is going to graduate a semester early.Next December. With all the dual credit courses he has/is taking,he will enter Texas Tech as a second semester Freshman.
He tells me he will also get his Masters at MIT and would like to get a PhD too.

He has been talking with Apple and Intel for months now.He wants to know what they are needing in their businesses,so he knows what direction he needs to be heading.
He does tend to do more than he says he will do.

I hear the Pats. are getting ready for next season, what dose that mean installing new camera's?

Ron61 06-14-2008 04:00 AM

:)

Fred,

Congratulations. Josh is doing great. And that checking to find out what they will be needing is really a very well planned idea.

Steve,

Just ask any of these people around here to mow a yard or anything that involves more than siting in the shade and they look at you as if you are crazy.

Warren,

Nice pictures. I like the flames on the Vett also. Must have been a pretty good painter that did them.

Tru,

Glad that you got to take the Cobra to the show. Now how about some pictures?

Ron :p

It was getting dark and I quickly took those pics after discussing the flame job with the owner. I love the new "real" flames. I certainly am not a professional photographer, but I hardly consider my $300 Nikon camera as "disposable".

The Nikon camera I had before this one was definitely disposable after I dropped it about 8 feet to a concrete floor. That really pi$$ed me off. On the other hand, if you want to talk about disposable items, lets talk about BB and the HHS. We can even throw in that old fake jackalope head on your TV too.:LOL:

It would not surprise me if they are not the only ones filming other teams. They are just the only ones that have gotten caught.

There is too much money at stake for schemes like this to not come up. We should not be surprised that this type of thing is going on. Business do it to each other every day in one form or another. Have you ever wondered how Ford and Chevrolet can come up with the same "New Model" or body style, or option in the same year? It is because they have spies doing homework on the competition. It is just business, at least nowadays.

4RE KLR 06-15-2008 06:30 AM

Ohh, I aomost forgot,

Happy Fathers day to all you guys!

I have let the kids sleep in late today. A very rare deal around here.

Ron61 06-15-2008 06:51 AM

Happy Father's Day to all of you. Hope you have a great day. ;)

Maybe the ones in Texas could go here for dinner. Looks liike a great steak.

Ron :)

Joe Wicked 06-15-2008 06:54 AM

Warren,
The ankle is doing a lot better. I am no longer wearing the boot and am just wearing a lace up brace. It is still tender and I do not quite have full range of motion without pain yet. Any lateral pressure results in pain. But Wednesday was the last day I wore the boot.

Joe Wicked 06-15-2008 06:58 AM

Happy Fathers day all. Got started on the dog run last night and I need to get out there this morning to finish it up. I am almost done with the planned yard improvements. Next I have 2 trees to move. The HOA here requires 2 trees on the property, but does not dictate where they are. The builder gave me 2 oak trees and put them both in the front yard. One of them is about 1 1/2 feet from the driveway. I know that in a couple of years the roots will start to tear up the driveway, so I am moving one to the center of the front Yard and one to the west side of the back yard. This one will shade the house in the afternoon sun when it gets bigger.

4RE KLR 06-15-2008 07:04 AM

Ron,
I have been to The Big Tex Steakhouse several times. It is a great place. The steaks are good and the drinks are cold.

The Free 72 oz steak is if you can eat all of it in an (?, I can't remember how long). The list if people that have done it is impressive. Seems to me several people have done it more than once and I was really surprised at how many women have done it.

I have never tried to eat the whole side of a bull at one setting. So I suppose my name will never be on that list!

Ron61 06-15-2008 08:42 AM

Steve,

At the price of steak out here you wouldn't have any trouble eating all of it in a set time. Just the thought of having to pay for it would make you eat like never before.

Ron

You are 100% correct. All of the other teams were probably sweating bullets that they might be pulled into the mess.

Belichick just went a little too far with the videotaping ...

Happy Flag day (belated) and Happy Father's Day.

Took a nice ride on Friday after cleaning the car. This is an old Chinese cultural association building close to Quincy center.

OK, back to watching the Celtics - LA Fakers game. :p

wtm442 06-15-2008 10:26 PM

Darn refs still gave away the game to the LA Fakers, even with one of our starters out with an injury.:LOL::LOL:
