I wear a hat for hair control. If I let it dance in the cobra wind, I am in pain removing knots and tangles.
The hat also shades my face from the sun, so I don't get burned.
Morning kids!!!!

I wear two different hats. (ball cap, or my safari type).... but sometimes, just driving around I don't want a hat! Then the glasses will work out just fine.

I remember the ball cap.
Brent, my hair isn't long enough for pigtails.

Warren,
All of the green is GOOD. It means green grass and all that. Just watch NASCAR and listen to Larry McRenolds story of when he sent a crew man over to check the weather radar to see if they should stay out or pit as the weather was threatening. The guy came back and told him it was good for miles sop they pitted and it started pouring and they finished way back in the race. He asked the guy why he told him it was good for miles and the answer was, "Well it showed green everywhere around here." Enjoy the green. We saw four straight month of it and it was so bad I didn't need a radar to see it.
Hair problems. I don't have no hair problems like the rest of you. I wear a cap to prevent brain bake. I also wear the little clip on the back to catch it when it blows off. Oh, and also sun glasses as this sun will really start to make your eyes blurry after a few miles.

How about a picture of yourself in the Cobra sitting on the beach towel wearing your new sunglasses and pink thong ??
Are these the glasses you got ?? Really great on the road. The wind gets to my eyes after awhile and these fix it.

20#'s and 20 years ago I'd do it.....
yeah, Fred, those are the ones! Harley shop had them marked down pretty good. I really think I'll like them a lot- on the street or track.
the beach towel, car, sunglasses, yeah, that all works, it's the thong thing that's holding me back.....

Praise be to the Mt Shasta Goddess who now wears a thong ...
The rain has stopped and the streets are dry ... and the temp is 72 ºF
The Goddess must have forgotten the heat somewhere over Michigan.
Time for a ride ... supper can wait for breakfast

Warren,
The just 90+ would be perfect for here. You would see a lot of people out doing things instead of huddled in stores and places with air conditioning. I replaced my electric Winter Blanket long ago with an electric Summer blanket.

You know you're from Southern California when...
The fastest part of your commute is down your driveway.
You go to the beach and see that real lifeguards actually do look like the lifeguards from Baywatch
Your monthly house payments exceed your annual income.
You drive next to a Rolls Royce and don't notice.
You begin to "lie" to your friends about where you are (i.e. "Yeah I'm like 20 minutes away") - when you know that it'll take you at least an hour to get there).
You drive to your neighborhood block party.
You don't exterminate your roaches, you smoke them.
In the "winter", you can go to the beach and ski at Big Bear on the same day.
You eat a different ethnic food for every meal
If your destination is more than 5 minutes away on foot, you're definitely driving.
Calling your neighbors requires knowing their area code.
You know what In N Out is and feel bad for all the other states because they don't have any.
You don't stop at a STOP sign, you do a California Roll.
You really can never be too rich or too thin.
You've partied in Tijuana at least once.
You go to a tanning salon before going to the beach.
You eat pineapple on pizza.
Bars card. For real.
Your cell phone has left a permanant impression on the side of your head.
You think that Venice is a beach.
The waitress asks if you'd like "carbs" in your meal.
You mourned for Tupac and not for Biggie
You know who the tinsel underwear dude in Venice Beach is. ( the guitar guy on skates lol)
You classify new people you meet by their Area Code. An "818" would never date a "562" and anyone from "323" or "213" is ghetto/second class or "909ers". Best area code: "714, 949."
You call 911 and they put you on hold.
You have a gym membership because it's mandatory.
The gym is packed at 3pm...on a workday.
You think you are better than the people who live "Over the Hill". It don't matter which side of the hill you are currently residing, you are just better than them, for whatever reason.
You know that if you drive two miles in any direction you will find a McDonald's or a Starbucks.
You know what "sigalert", "PCH", and "the five" mean.
Getting anywhere from point A to point B, no matter what the distance, takes about "twenty minutes".
The Terminator is your governor
You can't remember . . . is pot illegal?
It's barely sprinkling rain and there's a report on every news station: "STORM WATCH"
You actually get these jokes and pass them on to other friends from California

Dallas is suppose to hit 102* today.
Here on Mustang Island - 85* with a 15 mph onshore breeze.
If Kristen can make it another 24 hrs.,that will make it a week unsupervised with no late night calls to me for bail.
I know her family will be proud.
