Glad to help Steve, Warren and Fred set me straight months ago. Fred even offered the services of the Ho Sisters to help me get my mind back right. I thanked him and told him no, it is much easier to just go over to the lake and grab a beaver. We don't have many sheep around here. They seem to all have moved South.

My $hitbox Merc. 133K miles, needs an O2 sensor, AC broken, horn does not work, needs shocks, needs brakes, windshield wipers only has one speed and delay wiper does not work, starting to see rust on fenders. Looking for a new toilet so the Merc can be used in a demo derby.

Well for a short while I was wondering the same thing.....

But Ron set me straight. So, I suppose we are in the same group again.

All created equal, but all screwed up on different levels. Amazing we know each other at all.

Steve,
It has been awhile since anyone has accused me of being normal. I am quite sure that if you consider average to be normal, then I am far from normal.

Joe,

That would depend on what you consider average. Wow, we could turn this discussion with all of it variants into one of the political type threads.

Good point Ron. I personally don't care if I am normal, average or whatever. I am me, I am happy with it, and that is what matters. My friends are fine with it, my wife is fine with it, and most of my family is fine with it. I have never been big on what someone else thinks about anything.

Not looking forward to this afternoon. I have a followup appt with my doctor at 4:45 today. My diabetes has been kinda out of control for a while now and nothing is seeming to help. I think that he is going to take me off of the pills and switch me to insulin today. I am taking the max dose on 4 different medications and my blood sugars are still too high. I am already taking 1 injection twice daily, so it is not an issue with the shots themselves, but I am scared of taking too much insulin at the wrong time. Even though I know that I will take care to not do anything wrong, it is a worry of mine that I can't seem to get past. At least until it happens I guess.

I am sure that is what is going to happen today because normally they tell me over the phone how my tests came back, even when it is high. This time the nurse just said, that the Dr. wants to go over my results in person.

Warren,I went to mark your 10/27 date on my calender and there it was alright written down.
I had been looking back at last years for a note on your stop smoking date.

Steve - I last heard from Tom last Monday.2 days after the Hog Roast.

Ron - As far as the choice between the Ho Sisters and going down to the lake an getting some beaver, your on the right track.

As far as ANY of y'all being normal. FORGET IT !
I'm all by my lonesome in that area.

I have been wondering if something is wrong or if he is out of town. It is not like him to not call back. ?????

It is so humid, I think I can squeeze a glass of water out of a cube of air.

Dang, I have the wood barn taken care of, now I can start wrapping up the seed barn.

What a lot of work.

Well I had one big surprise today. Even though my blood sugars have been high when I take it in the morning, my test results came back as being even lower than before. The target is for the result to be below a 7 and the stretch target is 6.5. My results were 6.7. So no insulin for me. I must be taking my blood sugar during a brief period when it is elevated and it drops right back down. Dr kept me on the medicines I am on now.

With it looking like none of us being "normal",most of y'all even more abnormal than the rest.

Do you think someone should put on a telethon for our benefit ?

All I can say is if someone puts on a telethon for my benefit, the money is going towards a Cobra for me.

Steve,

I have no idea what is going on with the Coupe. I haven't seen it for over a year and right at this time am not really very interested in it. To many other important things to worry abut instead of a car.

Joe, glad to hear that your levels are getting down to normal. That seems to be one of the few things that I haven't had to worry about as mine always come back in the good range. Just the nerves and what they cause keep going up and so far nothing seems to work to bring them back or even stop the increases.

Ron

Ron,
You should just let me come and get the coupe and put it to good use for you.

Joe,
Make you a deal. If someone does a telethon on our behalf, you can have my part for your cobra as well.
How is that for friendship of someone I have never even met!
