You got it Ron.
Well kids, two more days. I set an 'erase bomb' off in my computer to 'scrub and wipe' the erased data. These things take a long time to run, but they really do the job.
I am going to do some more canning tonight. A friend has canned 32 jars of Jalapeņos peppers. I was amazed.

Warren,
Now that is interesting. Of course stand to one side when you knock on the door. There may be machine gun bullets coming through it. Darn, you have all of the interesting places and people around you.
I was going to put this in the joke thread but you may need to talk to this lawyer.
One afternoon a lawyer was riding in his stretch limousine when he saw two men along the roadside eating grass.
Disturbed, he ordered his driver to stop, and he got out to investigate.
He asked one of the men, 'Why are you eating grass?'
'We don't have any money for food,' the poor man replied. 'We have no choice. We have to eat grass.'
'Well, then, you can come with me to my house and I'll feed you' the lawyer said.
'But sir, I have a wife and two children with me. They are over there, under that tree'
'Bring them along' the lawyer replied. Turning to the other poor man he stated, 'You come with us also.'
The second man, in a pitiful voice then said, 'But sir, I also have a wife and SIX children with me!'
'Bring them all as well,' the lawyer answered.
They all entered the car, which was no easy task, even for a car as large as the stretch limousine was.
Once underway, one of the poor fellows turned to the lawyer and said, 'Sir, you are too kind. Thank you for taking all of us with you.'
The lawyer replied, 'Glad to do it. You'll really love my place. The grass is almost a foot high.

Well, that was different.
Ron, I think the punch line might have been "I haven't mowed the lawn in weeks"

Here is one that a guy sent me that I kind of liked.
Let's see if I understand
How the world works lately..
If a man cuts his finger off
While slicing salami at work,
He blames the knife.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
If you smoke three packs a day
For 40 years and die of lung cancer,
Your family blames the tobacco company.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
If your neighbor crashes into a tree
while driving home drunk,
He blames the bartender.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
If your grandchildren
Are brats without manners,
You blame television.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
If your friend is shot
By a deranged madman,
You blame the gun manufacturer.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
And if a crazed person breaks into the cockpit and tries to kill
the pilot at 35,000 feet,
And the passengers kill him instead,
The mother of the crazed deceased blames the airline.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
I must have lived too long
To understand the world anymore.
So, if I die while my old, wrinkled ass is parked in Front of this
computer, I want all of you to blame Bill Gates...okay?

You need to step away from the computer and fix your watch unless you switched coasts and are hangin' with Turtle.
The Ho's haven't made it back home yet this morning.

Tru,
Are they giving all of you a going away party? Seems they should give you something. Maybe 6 months pay as a severance package. Along with full benefits and 2/3rds of your pay for the rest of your life. That would make a nice retirement. I know, never happen.
Fred,
What watch? I just look at the time on my computer. Whoops, just looked at what I typed. Wrong key. Two finger typing is easy to make mistakes with.

If they want to downsize why don't they just have the employees lose weight. That way they could claim a smaller workforce and still have the experienced people to make the company work.

They are not giving anything.
I will leave around noon and go home to put a ridge on my seed/starter barn. I'll have that all tied up and then I may just make Kraut before the day's out.
I need a bit of time to get over all of this crap crashing down.

Tru,
Things will get better but I fear it is going to take some time. This mess didn't happen overnight and it can't be straightened out overnight. At least you have your farm to live off of. And you will find another job if you keep looking. I saw a sign on the back of a CHP car here two days ago that they are hiring. Really surprised me as this state is in such a mess. I almost wonder if that was an old car they had drug out of storage and forgot to take the sign off.

Huh? I thought Tru posted about 2 weeks ago that he had secured a new job "building cars".
Brain fart?
Senior moment?
Did I miss something?

Please come back another day.
Rain all day today and tomorrow and Sunday.

Look at all the money you're saving on gas.
The forecast I saw shows another 3 days of rain. That would throw you into complete withdrawls.

I just shipped it to you via UPS. Forget about work and wait on the front porch for the delivery, because they will not deliver it if you are not there.
