Darn it why didn't you ship it via Federal Express and I would most likely have gotten it.

Warren, Dale Jarrett was my favorite driver for many years but I think he hung around to long and all the newer fans will remember him for is that old guy that was always in the way and a lap or so down. When he drove the Ford Credit Car, his worst finish since Yates started then 88 team was 4th in points and he won the last Winston Cup Championship. He is doing pretty well as an announcer. Nearly all of my stuff is delivered by UPS as he drives right by here twice a day and I know the drivers pretty well. I have had two things delivered by Fed Ex and they put one of them in another block after the driver drove past and waved at me trying to flag him down. Ron **) |
Well, I just had a strange call.
I was doing an survey for the cable company and I said, "I have no frame of reference" when the girl asked if my service had improved. She asked me if the company had offered to fix that. I said, What...me frame of reference?" And she began to put in a service order to have my 'frame of reference" fixed. Wow. :D :D :D |

We've been concerned.:):) |
Tru, Must you make the poor girl look bad? What do you think the techs are going to say when she turns in that request? On the other hand, maybe what Fred said. :p  Ron  |
:LOL::LOL::LOL:
Once when I was on vacation in Myrtle Beach I called a golf outlet, and I asked the guy that answered the phone ... "Where are you located?" His reply ... "At the front desk":LOL::LOL::LOL: |
Yea!
It stopped raining. What should I do? |
It's just a trick.
|
Quick, go for a drive. That should start the rain again in a few minutes.

Joe,
Now that I would love to see. I would have told them ok and then watched them try to hang it in the air. Ron |

Joe,
I think those guys have better paying jobs now and are 1st tier techs for AT&T. I just skip them and call the 2nd tier as the 1st tier is a waste of time. I called some time back about my home page as I was not happy about it being changed by Yahoo, and one of the 1st tier techs told me that, Quote, " Oh, You have to be at your home computer to see your home page." I then told him I would like to talk to a supervisor and he told me that I couldn't. By that time I was fed up and asked him if I could speak to a different moron. His answer was he would see if any were at work that day. I just hung up and called the 2nd tier direct and had the problem solved in abut 2 minutes. The 1st tier can't even go in and look at your home page. The only thing they can do is repeat over and over that it is probably your browser. They actually can't access anything to look at it so I don't see why they waste money even having them as they aren't allowed to do anything. Ron |
Screw that, wash the car and make sure the rain is done.
:D :D |
Its pouring out. Turtle is surfing down the driveway.
|
:)
Warren, Get pictures. I want to see Turtle surfing. Send some of that rain out here. A couple of more sand bars that were just under the water in the pictures that I sent you are now poking their tops just out of the water. If the water drops another 10' feet, it will almost be possible to walk across the lake by jumping from sand bar to sand bar. If we don't get rain and a lot of snow in the Sierras this Winter, they will have no reason to keep spending money studying raising Shasta Dam another 100' Ron :( |
Its still raining.
Well, at least I won't use any gas today going to a car show. Glad I did not pre-register because its a rain or shine show. Won a trophy last year at the show. Guess I'll just have to watch some football games ... but the Pats are not playing (bye week). Maybe the NASCAR race. Got an e-mail from my ISP (Comcast) that said my computer had a virus and was sending out spam e-mails. So I followed all the instructions. Last instruction was to run a virus scan, which I did using the latest McAfee software that is provided by Comcast. It found zero problems. Talked with a tech rep who said those alert messages from Comcast can be generated by something that happened a few days ago or up to 3 weeks ago with my e-mail. Usually it is triggered by a computer that sends out an e-mail to hundreds of people at a time. Gee whiz, how nice of you to respond so quickly. And I do not do mass e-mails. He could not determine what triggered the alert e-mail. He said since the virus checker didn't find anything wrong, don't worry about it. :JEKYLHYDE |
I designed and installed LED lighting on the utility Barn.
Dang is that ever cool looking at night. Well I don't remember saying this...but the lift is broken again. The seal on the OTHER side went. I suppose I will fix that next spring. :D :D :D |
POOP Warren, you mean those mails you been sending out hourly are all infacted?!?!?!?!? ( notice I did not ask if they were infected, but infacted )
