Fred,
I have been trying to get there about every two months as of late. I have to
return to Hawaii for vacation because I have been bustin' a$$ trying to get it
habitable as in furnished etc. There is light at the end of the tunnel.
I will be there mid Nov for a week and have to go down to Houston to pick
a Costco 4 post lift, one day I will be home while the double garage door is
lifted to 10' for the lift and if I have time I'll put it together. Of course I'll
have to exercise the Kirkham. Before long we will actually be able to
relax and that is when I plan on being able to meet some of the TCC guys.
So far everyone in our community loves the car so I'm off to a good start
there.

I got a call today from my daughter in law - my son had returned from Iraq
today and was sleeping well - I think she knocked his socks off. Heh heh.

We may spend Christmas in Texas this year so he and family can meet us
there - it is an easier trip for them than coming to Hawaii.

GM everyone. Very interesting reading the water usages. Boy, do we (USA) use a lot of water on our lawns. We have to stop being so wasteful. But a nice green lawn after a cut and edging really does look nice.

Went for a nice ride yesterday because the temp got up to 75°F. It was too nice to waste that weather. But as the sun set, it got cold in a hurry. Had to dig out the wool cap and driving gloves out of the trunk.

Busy day yesterday. Cut myself 3 different places doing different chores around the house.

Its raining now, but supposed to be sunny this afternoon, and for the next 5 days. Got to clean the Cobra today. Haven't done that in many weeks, but there is a car show Saturday about 3 miles away.

Got a new prescription from my dermatologist for my elbows. The ointment I have been using for many years works just so-so. The pharmacist called yesterday evening and said my insurance will not cover that ointment. So I asked "How much is it". He said "The reason I called is that I've asked the doctor for a substitute, because the toothpaste sized tube would cost you $405.00".

Holy crap - $405. Hope they find something that the HMO covers. I'll have to do a Goggle on the stuff (Taclonex) and see why it's soooooo expensive.

Our temperatures are slowly dropping here and it has been windy the last two days. It is really blowing right now and my sinuses are acting up.

Darn Warren, that medicine for your elbows is really high. I am sure that Fred and I could come up with something you could rub on them for a lot less than that. Better yet, write to Teddy Boy and I am sure that he and Obama will take care of you. Just don't let him take you for a ride if he wants to drive near any water.

The stuff I'm using now costs me $40, but the one tube lasts about 4 months. If I stop using it for say a week, my elbows look and feel like 24 grit sandpaper. It work OK, but I need to use it at least 2 times a day, and the instructions are to use it for 2 weeks and then stop for 2 weeks.

The new stuff contains some steroids ... I guess all the sales to baseball and football player has driven up the costs.

My ex-wife had psoriasis too.Not something you want to ignore and not treat.

She got our insurance to buy her a something like a tanning bed.I think the bulbs were different.

Does it help to hang your elbow out over the door when you're out slamming gears in the Cobra ?

Only if it scraped the road surface. But sadly, I only have a size 37 sleeve.

Young Chuck, moved to Texas and bought a
Donkey from a farmer for $100.00. The farmer agreed to deliver the
Donkey the next day. The next day he drove up and said, 'Sorry son, but
I have some bad news, the donkey died.'

Chuck replied, 'Well, then just give me my money back.'

The farmer said,
'Can't do that. I went and spent it already.'

Chuck said,
'Ok, then, just bring me the dead donkey.'

The farmer asked,
'What ya gonna do with him?

Chuck said,
'I'm going to raffle him off.'

The farmer said,
You can't raffle off a dead donkey!'

Chuck said,
'Sure I can Watch me. I just won't tell anybody he's dead.'

A month later, the farmer met up with
Chuck and asked, 'What happened with that dead donkey?'

Chuck said,
'I raffled him off. I sold 500 tickets at two dollars a piece and made a
profit of $898.00.'

The farmer said,
'Didn't anyone complain?'

Chuck said,
'Just the guy who won. So I gave him his two dollars back.'

Chuck now works for the government.

GMW. The Dow futures are free-falling. Round up the women and children and head for the hills.

Glad I bailed out of stocks a while ago. But when it bottoms out, its buy baby, buy.

GME,

It is cool here again this morning. Just 56 degrees and the wind is blowing a little but not as much as yesterday morning.Maybe it will quit completely later on. I am happy that it is Friday at least. I need to go to the store but have other things to do.

The service man will be here today to check out the heating and air conditioning and my contract us up so I have to renew that. Then I am just going to stay inside. I may not even take the pups for their morning run and walk as my hip is really hurting this morning.

Warren,

When you go on your buying spree how about picking up Ford and then you can sell us cars at really low prices. At the rate things are going you may be able to pick up a few other car companies in the mix. Even houses around here are almost back down to what they were actually worth when they first sold.

At $2.08 Ford is a great buy right now, if you are buying for the long haul. What do you think Fred?

They lost $2.7B LAST YEAR.

Their stock will soon be cheaper than single-ply toilet paper.
Chances are great the Ford & GM won't be around in a couple of years.

I am very skeptical of that.

If the government will bail out seemingly everyone, why not Ford. Sure it is a gamble, but ALL stock investments are in one way or another, right? Cash on hand is good, right now with Ford.

I think they will be around, they are working on many different flex fuel and CNG powered vehicles right now.

Here is my thoughts: SOLEY MY OPINIONS AND NOT INVESTMENT RECOMMENDATIONS!
America is in the toilet from buying from every other country on the planet, right? The economy will continue to free fall, until Americans get PISSED OFF and stop buying crap made in other countries. That will bring the buyers back to American made products.

If Ford will continue to upgrade and update its line like it is now. It will survive.

Of course I could be wrong, and I probably am. I am just betting that American ingenuity will prevail.

I wish I would have bought AMR at $1.00. I came SOOOOOOOOO incredibly close to. I could have sold it by now and it would have been a ten bagger for me.

Fred,

If it is at $2.08 per share it is already cheaper than single ply toilet paper. Fortunately we have a great supply of leaves around here. Would you like me to send you a bog of them?
