Darn, I must be related to him. Buy high and sell low. But I don't have the billions he has. I have also seen several unsubstantiated reports that Ford and GM were having talks abut some kind of merger. Hard to believe but both could be in bankruptcy before this bottoms out if they don't do something.

If they should merge would that make a 350 Chevy a Ford engine also?

I could definitely see someone roasting a few Harley drivers, but who other that the Humpin Ho sisters would eat them?

Couple of pictures from yesterdays 3 hour ride to nowhere. No turtles or frogs were injured during my ride. It was too cold for them to come out of the water.

This should be in the joke thread, but since you are all talking business I thought some of you might be interested in the latest technology. I am sure Warren will like the last one.

Three Ladies in a Sauna

THREE WOMEN, TWO YOUNGER, AND ONE SENIOR CITIZEN, WERE SITTING NAKED IN A SAUNA. SUDDENLY THERE WAS A BEEPING SOUND. THE YOUNG WOMAN PRESSED HER FOREARM AND
THE BEEP STOPPED. THE OTHERS LOOKED AT HER QUESTIONINGLY. 'THAT WAS MY PAGER,' SHE SAID. I HAVE A MICROCHIP UNDER THE SKIN OF MY ARM.

A FEW MINUTES LATER, A PHONE RANG. THE SECOND YOUNG WOMAN LIFTED HER PALM TO HER EAR. WHEN SHE FINISHED, SHE EXPLAINED, 'THAT WAS MY MOBILE PHONE. I HAVE A MICROCHIP IN MY HAND.'

THE OLDER WOMAN FELT VERY LOW -TECH. NOT TO BE OUT DONE, SHE DECIDED SHE HAD TO DO SOMETHING JUST AS IMPRESSIVE. SHE STEPPED OUT OF THE SAUNA AND WENT TO
THE BATHROOM. SHE RETURNED WITH A PIECE OF TOILET PAPER HANGING FROM HER REAR END.

THE OTHERS RAISED THEIR EYEBROWS AND STARED AT HER.
THE OLDER WOMAN FINALLY SAID....WELL, WILL YOU LOOK AT THAT....I'M GETTING A FAX!!

Ron
I heard that joke back in the seventeeth century, but it was 3 guys. It wasn't that funny 300 years ago, because nobody knew what a microchip was.

Ron, it was a good post to lift the spirits of those needing a bit of jocularity.

Used that word just for you Fred.

Tru,

With Friday coming soon, you should be looking forward to a nice weekend. Warren on the other hand should be out shopping for snow removal equipment. I don't think a shovel and small snow blower is going to cut it for him this Winter.

Let me quote from a highly respected author -

"Use of words that require the average person to have to get out a dictionary are another symbol. Either the author is trying to portray the person as refined or intelligent or the author themselves are insecure and need to use bigger words to boost their own ego." - Dave

Tru,
We are here to help. All you have to do is first admit your problem(s).

Or as a physicist that I was watching on TV some time back said, "If you have to use big words that the normal person doesn't understand, then you really don't understand it yourself either." I like that guy and see him on several different shows.

Jocularity? Why Fred never played a sport in his life. Why do you think he owns a Cobra and a Harley? Could it also be that the Humpin Ho sisters are just there to help Fred? Inquiring minds want to know.

Good afternoon world. I have a question. Got up this morning about 7 AM. Took a shower and got dressed. Sat down in the easy chair to watch a little Fox & Friends before getting some breakfast. Fell asleep for almost 3 hours.

Question - since there was only about 30 minutes between waking up and falling asleep again, is that technically a nap, or just a "continuation of sleep" (somewhat like the 5 second rule for food dropped on the floor)?

Lousy day. Its 44°F and been drizzling all day. Yesterday I screwed Turtle's behind onto his post and put him back in the front of the house. He is in his elements now, and just waiting for any Humpin Ho invasion. If they so much as look at him, the glare from his varnish coat will blind the poor (expletive deleted). Hop on you demonic frogs ... hop on.

Tru - stop using those big words that us dummies don't understand. Had to look up the word 'spirits' to find out it was something you drink.

Fred - I think that highly respected author is just a little behind in his writing. He has a deadline that is getting really close. I think the new job has cut into one of his money-making hobbies.

Reword what? I think that everyone, including Tru, follows my rants, that Fred likes the attacks, and I always write something that allows Fred to attack me or turtle. Just wait until he says something about screwing turtle to a post.

This place is sometimes like a comedy club without any cover charge. Thanks for the link about the football game. Friday night high school football has even spread into New England. Hope you do not jinx them like you and what's-her-name have jinx the Cowboys. I better watch what I say, because the Patriots are losing one or two key players to injuries every game.

Of course, if I offend anyone, just let me know. I can eat my words with the best of them. I learn how to digest words a looooooong time ago.

Warren,

I put a post in the Suggestion Forum about your Avatar that I think is the problem. Read it and let me know if that is what you did.

As for Turtle, why put him back outside in the nasty weather? Let him stay inside with you.

I took a drive in the 69 today looking for some color. I can tell you the only color except brown, black, and some green isn't within 15 miles of here except a couple of trees in my neighbors yard. Also turned over 41K on the speedometer today. 41,003 to be exact. It is now officially worn out and ready for the junk yard. Had some guy offer me $5K for it and I actually thought about it.

Just my opinion butt I think screwing a post up Turtle's behind would improve his looks and help his disposition.

Kinda of curious,is this a new Fall/Winter activity for you two ?

I think we would all enjoy seeing a new picture of him all shiney with a stick up his a$$ lurking in the flower bed.

Well hello little sister.

I will try to limit the use of frivolous superlatives and adjectives of the multiple syllable nature.
