Fred,
Mine was every bit the horror stories you hear. But that was years ago and the tooth had infected the gums so badly that I had to go five days and they would drill out everything and pack it again with antibiotics until they got rid of all of the infection. The dentist said they couldn't take any chance on having any infection at all left under there once they did the finish work. I just have trouble now with my old fillings and the teeth they are on cracking. Dinosaur bone just didn't make for lasting fillings.

Warren brought it up on some other thread about a Prop. in Ma. to make less than 1 oz. of pot a $100 fine and the cop gets the pot.
Just heard it passed.
With all the dangers with people using handheld cellphones plus texting of all things, drinking and driving,..well the list goes on.
That it is now even easier to light up and go for a ride poses a even greater hazard to other drivers.
Of course we know how brillant people become with continued use.
STUPID !

Good Morning Everyone,
Well I am disappointed, but we need to move on as so many have said. We will figure a way as we go along. I am so glad that the moderators have finally closed all the old political threads. I am so tired of those.
Maybe we can get back to some sort of normal here.
It must be a good day if HLC is posting on our little thread.

Ron & Fred - I've had two root canals in the last 3 years, and they were no problem. Less pain than a cleaning appointment. And the doctor is a really nice looking 26 year old Chinese gal who sometimes rubs the top of my head with a certain part of her anatomy while she is working on my mouth.
Tru - the latest issue of Consumer Reports (Dec) has a six page article on LCD and plasma TV's. I'll scan it and send you copy via e-mail.

BTW
Irving has been trying for 50 years to be able to sell alcohol with-in its borders. It passed yesterday.
To me it just makes since. Many people that live here drink beer and having been driving to other towns for decades to get the beer. Now the tax income can stay here.

Actually, it starts a secondary minor but enjoyable pain that requires a little wiggling in the chair and takes a while to subside.

Fred,
He might not think it was so great if he would keep his eyes open and see what part of her anatomy she was rubbing against the top of his head. My orthodontist on the other hand gets right over me and I do keep my eyes open. Really takes my mind off what she is doing. But I still don't like gong to a dentist.

This has made me realize I need to go Dentist shopping.
The level of care I've been receiving just doesn't come close to Warren's.

I told you a long time ago to stop trusting Frenchy and BB with your dental care.

Yeah,I have to make some changes after reading about Warren's experiences.
I understand why he keeps getting Root Canals now.
BB tries but her rubbing her boobs on the top of my head just leaves a lot to be desired.(pun intended)

Look at the bright side Fred. You have 5 really nice looking women there all in one. Warren and I only have one at our dentists. And even though mine is young and great, I still don't like going to the dentist.

I'm bummed. The dentist said that the tooth was too far gone for a root canal/post to support a bridge. Does anyone have an extra $2,500 laying around? That's about the difference between a root canal/post and an implant. Even worse, the implant doctor is a guy. Maybe I can get a discount for some Cobra rides.
Fred
Congrats to Josh
My condolences to your wallet.
Tru - sent a PDF file of the report on TV's to you. If anyone else is interested, let me know. Or go out and buy the magazine you cheap (expetive deleted).

congrats, Fred. I know you're proud of him.
how does that work- starting in the spring semester? Will he still graduate from HS in May, or graduate early in December??
I haven't heard of this before. Was he 'on plan' to graduate early already??
OR.... will he take online classes this spring, while still at HS?
I'm just curious how this works. Will he move to Lubbock??
Let me know!!
thanks and congrats again.
Peter has applied to 4 schools. We'll see!!!
