Thanks Tru,

I have used Buy Dig as that is where I bought my first digital camera from. I don't need that big of a screen as they say the 37" one that I have is larger than I should use for the distance I am from it. But I Like that size and that was what I was thinking about looking for if and when I decide to get a new TV. I have looked at Sony, SamSung, and a couple of other brands in the store here where they have them side by side and on the same station. I just like that flat panel and the thin body. Let me know when you get it set up and have used it for a while. does it have the picture in a picture feature?

Ron

Lousy Morning America.

Raining, fog and 56°F outside, with flash flood watch for all small streams. I'm starting to feel like a prune. Does anyone want me to grow some mushrooms?

Is it just me, or has CC been having problems? It seems that every day the site goes down for 10 minutes or so, at various times.

Buy Dig? Never heard of them.

Tru - you do not "hang" a 52 inch TV on a wall. Its not like a big picture frame. They sell an installation kit that screws to the wall studs.

Mike Z - just saw a weather report for your area. Temp in the low 90's with wind gusts over 60 MPH. Stay safe.

Yes, the finer art of buying on the internet.

52 " looked good in the store. We went to circuit city thinking they would have some good deals since they are in trouble. They were higher priced than Best Buy across the street.

It is a fire in the stove type day, rain all day, dropping from 40 degrees down to 30 and snow. What an opening day.

Go out and shoot something. You'll feel better, especially if you can eat it.

I have always hated that store. Every time you go in they treat you like chit and is you are not even there. I hate to say this but that store got what it had coming.

Fred,
You don't like our one day of fall? I guess it is the first sign you need to put away the Hog for another year.

BTW:
I am speaking of the Harley, not BB.

I would rather have itchy hemorrhoids than brisk.

BB doesn't easily get put away.

so it looks like we're going to have visitors from the 'Great North' in January.

i am still in my jammies.. yum! it's not brisk outside- it's freakin' cold and the wind is howling like a mother!
i don't mind the 'brisk' if the wind would subside.

oh. we won our first playoff game. 69-21. won last week, 72-7.
this is football, gentlemen, not basketball!!

hopefully.... 'state bound'!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Graham, who is a sophomore, gets to run the ball the 4th quarter. He is 'low' on the totem pole for running backs- but he knows they are prepping him for next year and the next. Peter plays defense quite a bit.
He goes in on offense at the end of the game, to lead block for Graham. I always like to see Peter block for Graham. I feel a lot better! Makes for good pictures, too.
Two for one...

so anyway. Football definitely dominates our life.

Oh yes. just to catch ya'll up.
I took the 500 to a street style carshow last sunday, and got 'second in class'. not too bad, considering i did dust off the car and wash the windows, but did not detail the engine bay and didn't touch the brake dust on the wheels! oops!
went with my two East Dallas buddies, and had a good time.

Peter received two college acceptances last week. The two he would prefer NOT to go to, but at least he'll go somewhere. thank god!
Waiting for two more. gig'em gig'em gig'em gig'em gig'em....

have a great day, and stay warm!!!!!!!
brrrrr!

Steve,

No rain and as of yesterday our weather went from being in the 40s to the mid 70s. There is some wind blowing but even it is warm. Forecast for today is a high of 75 and no rain shown for the next 4 days. Darn, I sure feel for Warren and Tru when we are having this nice weather and they are busy getting their snow plows ready.

Hey Mike,

What is the latest on the fires down south of there? The news up here is about two days behind everything.

Been a long time since I was down that way. If things work out, I would like to make a trip down to Santa Ynez and Paradise Camp next Summer. See some of my old hang outs if they are still there.
