Tru,
I haven't heard anything from Warren about his blower. He may be snowed in or is just staying warm. I just got back from my 2 runs/walks with the dogs and it is a warm 29 here but is very overcast and the forecast was for sunny and cold. Another e-mail that I got:
Top Signs Your Company is Planning a Layoff
1. CEO frequently overheard mumbling, "Eeny-Meeny-Miney-Moe."
2. Dr. Kevorkian hired as "Transition Consultant."
3. Windows 98 shutdown screen reads, "It's Now Safe to
Start Looking for Work."
4. Company softball team down-sized to chess team.
5. Sudden proliferation of teen-age geek interns.
6. Your boss keeps asking you when he can "show your cubicle."
7. Company president now driving a Hyundai.
8. Annual company holiday bash moved from Sheraton
banquet room to abandoned Fotomat booth.
9. Giant yard sale in front of corporate headquarters.10. Company dental plan now consists of pliers and string

I need to check the CC site regular as I like to laugh once in a while.
I haven't seen a post from Warren in a day or two...I think he has taken up a woman...to keep warm.

I talked to him for a couple of minutes yesterday. He said something about a sister moving and that he hadn't been doing much. Actually I think he has had Fred send Frenchy up there to send the Winter with him and he was snuggled in bed with her when we talked. And the snow blower is still sitting.

Tru,
You said that Word again. Now if Warren sees it he may stay in bed for the rest of the Winter. I think that is why the snow blower is still sitting. It is WORK to get it going.

Happy Hos? Are you sneaking over to Fred's house and peeking inside? Have you been naughty again, lil' Stevie? I may have to read you another bedtime story ....

No, no....
No trip over to frenchy's or to see the Humpin Ho's. I am spending this time with my family and it is indeed a wonderful time of year.
God Bless each and every one of you.

Goodness, those must be the new LED Christmas lights Warren got at the Dollar store.
With the economy the way it is, that would be any Sears, JC Penny and/or any other medium cost department store.

Tru,
You noticed that some of them have already quit flashing didn't you. Those were good lights, just 7 years old. Dollar store lights quit the first 7 hours.

Kristen & Tru,
Boy you two are up early I figured that today you would take it easy. Kristen congratulations on the boys achievements, both in school and on the sports fields. Tru, start practicing to sign checks so you don't get writers cramp.
Have a great day both of you and I hope next year will be the greatest ever. I just got back from the two 3/4 mile dog runs and am tired but if it wasn't for my bad hip, I would now be enjoying them.

Cool, we need more buddettes. The fair who rode with me won't take money to ride again, anyway, they make my right arm sore.

The forecast for yesterday, Christmas was wrong and we had sun most of the day and it was cool but not cold. Now this morning it is 26 degrees and they say rain off and on all day.
Not the Friday I was hoping for as I have to take both of the pups to the vet for their yearly heart worm tests. That means they won't get to make their morning run and I will have to spend the rest of the day having them look at me as if I had punished them. I just hope that it warms up some before I have to leave as there are patches of ice on the streets and overpasses.
