Tru,
You did get a lot done Saturday. Now you can start driving the Cobra and enjoying it. The timing question I will leave to more knowledgeable people than me. I believe I had mine at 38° but that was a long time ago and I just don't remember how we arrived at whatever it wound up being set at.
Have fun.

No, I harvested berries for three hours and have been getting ready for guests. The car needs to be cleaned really bad.
I am thinking I might be able to take it out in the middle of the week.
Ron, what's the word on that coupe??

Tru,
Waiting for the new fuel pump when he called me Friday. The first one was bad and shorted immediately after he started it. Then a few minor things such as the oil cooler connector and it should be ready for breaking in. He has to drive it long enough to find that oil drip and that was what he was trying to do when the fuel pump went out. It won't drip when it is just setting and he said he needs to drive it and get the oil good and hot and let it splash around and then go straight on the rack and see if he can find where it is coming from. I have to many other things going on next week to worry about it right now.

Ron,
There are 2 kinds of Riders, those that have dropped their scooter and those that will.
It happens,sooner or later.
Mike,
If you broke the toe on your left foot I hope you have a heel shifter !

Right foot, so no rear brakes but I don't think I will be riding for a few more days I can't even get my foot in a shoe.

Darn Mike,
It will be nice when the swelling goes down so you can see how long it will be before you can wear a shoe on that foot. You may have to get some with a soft top and front for a short time. And don't so what I did and keep hitting it on everything you walk past. I almost got to where I wouldn't go into a room with any furniture in it.

Tru,
Don't remind me. Even though I am retired I still do not care for Mondays. It takes me all day to get everything sorted out that I have to do the rest of the week.

Joe,
How is the new wireless working out? They are advertising it quit a bit on TV out here. Has a picture of a Hughes screen next to a dial up and shows how much faster it is. I am guessing that since they don't give any maximum distance it is far better than the other two wireless companies who have set up shop in this area and failed miserably. Mountains tend to mess with their line of sight signals.

Steve,
It is hot here this morning and supposed to keep getting hotter, so I guess our little cool spell is over.
I took my aluminum cans down to the recycle place and it was really hot standing in the sun waiting my turn. But I got $71.65 for the three small bags of cans.

Dang, a small bag must be all of the garage. Ron, what do they give you per can/bottle/container?
Well folks, it is nice weather again today. I hope this is the trend all the way to winter.

Tru,
Right now aluminum cans here are $1.57 per pound and $1.87 in Redding. I always crush mine by stomping on them so I have around 16/20 pounds in each bag. I drink diet Pepsi and about twice a year I will have enough cans to take them the 4 blocks and sell them. It just isn't worth the 25 mile drive and standing in line in Redding for the extra .20˘ per pound.

Tru,
That is great. Must have felt like a King finally getting it all finished and ready to drive. How did it feel and now do we get pictures?

She had a great feel. She pulled harder and seemed a bit more responsive. There are more ponies at the will.
Idles nasty.
I tried to drive it to work this morning, but it was like 47 at my house and freezing on the way in was out of question. Yet, I did pull it out at 6:10, the windshield went water. I wiped it down and tried again. Got five feet, the windshield went water again.
I put it back in the barn and put my coat back in the house.
Fred. I am just getting ready to finish mounting that Boar I got back when you and I had dinner. I need to finish the prep and secure the tusks.
Wow.
