What a weekend!
Fixed two barn doors, did the "whiten the skull" on the Boars skull, fixed the washing machine and took the cobra out for a nice short drive...between the rain drops. We did a bunch of other things, but these top the scale.

What did you guys do?

:D

Ron61 07-20-2009 04:55 AM

:(

It sure wasn't cool here the past two nights. I just went and looked and it is 83 and the time is 4:50 AM. The high yesterday was 111. We could use a few freezing days down into the 60s.

Ron :)

4RE KLR 07-20-2009 08:18 AM

Well, Good Morning everyone.

We had a nice "cool" weekend. It rained here a little on Sunday and the temp dropped 30* in ten minutes. It was funny, everyone was outside just walking around like they were lost. Hadn't seen weather like this 'cool' this time of year in decades.

I got some small stuff done. I got the computer issues resolved, NO THANKS TO HP. Their service is piss poor.

It is ashamed with service oriented companies today you have to pick the better of the worst. Sorta like voting for a president in this country, the lessor of the two evils. GRRR

HP customer service STINKS!

trularin 07-20-2009 09:35 AM

Did they speak English?

Half the time I need to slow them down just to recognize what they are saying.

:D :D

:MECOOL:

Just got through mowing the red, dusty, upper lot. Man, what a mess that dust is.

I seen pictures of your back yard...and that ain't it.

A 6 foot high fence with barbed wire around the top to guard against...those two little dogs???

4RE KLR 07-20-2009 02:27 PM

Ron,
Doesn't look like there is too much to mow

392cobra 07-20-2009 02:28 PM

Is that fence to keep people from stealing your dirt ?

4RE KLR 07-20-2009 03:23 PM

That fence is an example of how the state of California keeps the tax payers couped up, so they will contiue to pay.
:LOL::LOL::LOL:

Ron61 07-21-2009 04:32 AM

Take away the star thistle and weeds and that could be Mars. Each pass with the tractor and I had to sit and wait for the huge red dust cloud to settle before I could make another pass. That is the way it is every Summer. In the Winter when we get any rain it has a lot of thick clover on it.

Ron :o

4RE KLR 07-21-2009 05:59 AM

Good Morning everyone

Nice little rain shower this morning.

Ron61 07-21-2009 06:02 AM

:MECOOL:

Why do you get rain and we get more sun? And we aren't even into the hottest part of our Summer yet. However the way the weather is we could have anything the next month or so.

Doesn't California call itself the Sunshine State?
:CRY::CRY::CRY:

Hey
It really feels nice here this morning.
Whew, we needed a break from that 100*+ daily heat.

I hope you get a break before long as well Ron.

Ron61 07-21-2009 06:28 AM

Steve,

We will get a break one of these days. Just don't have any idea of when. And we sure can't rely on our weather reports. I am tired of walking outside at 3 AM and feeling like it is mid afternoon just without the sun.

Ron

4RE KLR 07-21-2009 06:59 AM

Believe me I understand.

Usually around here at about 2:00AM, it cools way off into the nineties.

trularin 07-21-2009 08:49 AM

It is morning, but feels like the entire day has gone by.

I am bushed and I am not sure why.

Ron61 07-21-2009 09:30 AM

;)

Tru,

Maybe you are working to hard. Time for a drive in the Cobra.

Ron :)

trularin 07-21-2009 06:30 PM

Fred, I think it turned out better than I thought it would.

Those tusks under the skull are the real deal.

:D :D :D

4RE KLR 07-21-2009 07:33 PM

Tru,
That is nice. You did a great job on the mount

HI Cobra 07-21-2009 07:46 PM

I don't think I would want to have one of those guys chomping on
my leg, or anywhere else for that matter. Nice job on the mount.
