I have been so busy lately I have not had time to drop by. I have not missed the political BS that this forum (lounge) is turning into ONE BIT

LOL. It's OK Steve. I tell everyone my wife married me out of pity. Why else would she be with me? I make sure everyone knows I was the lucky one in that. Thats why I need a cobra so bad. I need as much help as I can to look good, and everyone looks good wrapped in a Cobra.

Amen, I looked at the main Lounge page and it looks like it is a political news debate page. Some folks need to get a life

Mike,

That would be great. I may try to make a trip down there later on when things get kind of settled down. I would really like to see just how much Paradise Camp has changed over the years and maybe visit a couple of my old hang outs in Santa Barbara. Also would like to go to Santa Ynez and Solvang to see how they are now. And Chuchuma Dam of course. Then maybe back up through the Fresno area to see some of the places I used to hang out at and go to the parks if they are still open.

nice cool Saturday here. I got: a fender, a brand new front grill and four front lights for $100.

I feel like I got a deal.

The apples are coming into season, I think we are making pie filling this year. Still have apples sauce from last year and apple butter from the previous year.

The deer have been looking good. There are few bucks trolling around the peach tree.

I think a lot of people are interested ( note word used loosely, interested ) in politics because they feel so out of control when it comes to politics. I decided to not post the rest of my thoughts, no sense inviting bad to the dinner table.

Tru,

I agree and I am not going to post any more in any political thread. We all have our ideas and thoughts, but it just seems to turn into name calling brawls, so it isn't worth ruining the site for that. Besides, as has been pointed out numerous times, I am to dumb to understand the political situation.

Sounds as if you got a good deal on all of the parts. Now what are you going to use them on?

Ron

Had a good breakfast yesterday with the local Cobra guys and we went to our favorite local performance shop afterward. Took a long hard look at a Black with Silver Striped Backdraft roller in stock, and tried to figure out a way to do it, but alas, no Cobra yet. Afterward we had my neighbors' sons' B-day party, and we ended up making dinner for the neighborhood. Turned out to be a real nice relaxing fun day from beginning to end.

Sounds good Joe. We are finally getting a break from the heat for a few days. It is only supposed to be in the low 90s for the next two or three days. I know the feeling about seeing the Cobra and wanting it. You will have one soon.

Monday morning and time to face another week. It is supposed to stay in the 90s most of the week so that is a welcome relief. I am hoping they will deliver my shed that I have ordered this week. I already have the ditch and conduit for the electric laid out and ready. It would be nice to get it before the temperature goes back into the triple digits.

today is already a long day. I woke up with a splitting headache that just will not go away. I don't know what it is, but it is so bad I feel like vomiting. I hope it goes away soon.

To much partying over the weekend???? Hope that you get over it soon. Save them for the weekend when you can lay around.

So, Joe, are you opening a kitchen in your area we all can come to to eat?

We really need to get Ron out and about. He might come for free food.

Things seems to be getting tighter. I haven't lived like this for years.

Ron, I agree, I can read the threads, but I just do not feel inclined to post an opinion. A popcorn comment once-in-a-while...maybe.

No partying yesterday at all. Saturday only had 2 drinks over about a 5 hour span, so it is not from that. It actually started last night with a mild headache but I get those when tired, so I didn't think about it.

Tru,
As far as the kitchen, we like to cook and eat, so we tend to feed a lot of people just by our nature. Any time you guys are in town, we would be glad to cook something. Only catch is Fred is not allowed to bring BB. I can't afford to make that much food. Nothing personal, just my wallet is not big enough. I don't even have enough to buy a Cobra, so that should show that I cannot afford it.

Frogs are good. They keep the flys away from the food. It is a win win there.

That must be the way Fred gets rid of Frenchy's competition.

Actually, he brought Frenchy.

He has some pictures of Jay and Kristen and I at dinner. We were all eating with Fred...and the frog.
