I just received word from Brent this morning that he has the motor for the Coupe finished and is shipping it to John for the top end assembly and finishing off whatever needs to be done.
But I did order some extra things that delayed the process some and I know that Brent does great work as does John and the rest so I am not in any hurry. Unlike Joe who is chomping at the bit to get his cobra started.

Great to see that it is coming together Ron.
You have an album in your gallery titled "Daytona Coupe - the 1 wish I had"
When are you going to get another album going titled "Daytona Coupe - the 1 I have" ?

Fred,
When John calls and tells me he has it ready to start road testing I will change the Album. I haven't heard from him today but he got the fuel injection unit late last week I think it was. As they tore into that car it was a nightmare.

Patience Joe,
You are getting there and will probably be driving yours before I get mine back.

Now that is one I know not to be true. It's ok though. I will get there one way or another, it will happen.

Joe,
Get your ticket ready for the LCS drawing today. You could be driving around months before me.

I unfortunately did not win again. It's all good though. It goes to a good cause.

Mike,
You will have to talk to John (RdMnt)about that as he has it down at his shop.
I can't do an attachment on here so I will attach the last picture that I had over on the other site. It is of the motor.

Joe, Mike, and all of you. I hope that you had a great 4th yesterday. It wasn't bad here just got up to 98° with some humidity and a light but hot wind blowing. It seems we have has some every day for the last two months. And the dust is really bad.

I had a great day. made a couple of really awesome NY strip steaks on the grill with some grilled corn. Didn't do a whole lot though. Just took some time and relaxed for a change.

Mike,
You and me both. It was to hot here to get outside for very long and we had a hot wind that has blown for two weeks now on top of that. The dust is so bad that it flies up around your pants legs when you walk on dirt anywhere. So I spent most of the day in the house reading or just laying around.

Steve,
Good to hear that you are still busy. It is to hot and dusty here to do much. They are doing the road work at night so we get to listen to the machines grinding up the old pavement all night. Also several fires the past few days and a couple of them almost got away from them and into the canyons. But lucky so far and only a few homes burned.
