Oh everything works .... just not often enough!

Oh God .. time for another ride. Sunny and 74 ºF outside. Guess I'll have to grin and bear it. Somebody on this thread has to sacrifice for the rest.

wtm442 09-20-2006 06:24 PM

Day 7 - 7 rides. Supposed to get down to 40 ºF or below tonight. Makes me feel like I'm in Michigan. At least it was a tremendous night and a gorgeous sunset.

sorry, deleted a bunch of pics from my gallery.

:)

Warren,

You do take some nice pictures with great back grounds. Based on your previous statement of 40 miles per ride, you must live very close to some great places. :)

Ron :p

trularin 09-21-2006 05:07 AM

I agree with Ron, Warren you have some very nice shots.

:D

392cobra 09-21-2006 06:32 AM

Always enjoy looking at the photos with the great backgrounds too.

How long did it take to learn how to do that with photoshop ? :)

Ron61 09-21-2006 07:25 AM

:)

Where did all the girls disappear to all of a sudden? I haven't seen any of them swooning over Warren's Cobra for some time now.

Ron

flipper35 09-21-2006 10:47 AM

It must be too cold for them.

It's down to 100 in the days and 80's at night. Gas is under $3.10 a gallon. It's close to driving full time season here. Sadly, I've only been out twice this week.

wtm442 09-21-2006 10:36 PM

Brent
70's during the day and low 50's at night here.

$3.10 a gallon? I just filled up my daily driver with regular at $2.35/gal.

Fred - Photoshop??? Just a trusty little Nikon and press the button.

Ron - going to cook corned beef dinner tomorrow because I can still fit in the Cobra. You'll never get it. I have 5 nephews, and they all want it when I'm gone.

Tru - have you reamed out your pressure plate? Hole saw or blowtorch?
Saw the oral surgeon today - gave him a ride. Visit was N/C today. Actually, at $7500 for 2 implants, I could have bought a lot of things for the Cobra .....

Took a nice ride this evening. Found out where the Hingham Yatch Club is located about 10 miles from my house. Nice place. Lots of $$$ in the local houses.

:)

Brent,

Gas has actually dropped below $3 a gallon here too. I think it was just $ 2.59 for the mid grade when I filled up the other day. I had better get all of my gas cans filled now before they decide to raise it again.

Warren,

Wow, your dental prices are like they are up here. I think it was $ 80 for my last cleaning and I have to go in next month for the 6 month check with x-rays and cleaning. And of course he will find something else that just has to be taken care of. My last crown was over $900 but I got it for $470 as the man that owns the dental lab is a friend and he made the crown and furnished the gold free and then didn't charge my dentist for it. One lucky break in 10 years, so now I have a long time to wait. :(

Fred, Warren has that background thingy down to a science. I mean, you can just see a couple of lines where he pasted the car over the back grounds. In a couple more months, we won't be able see any lines at all.

He'll just switch to flying saucers or UFOs ( to be politcally correct ).

In the 40s at night and in the early morning. Been getting ready for snow, I was going to ship it all to MA, but it hasn't arrived yet. :D

Warren, more great shots!

trularin 09-22-2006 05:50 AM

I just looked at that pic! Warren, Are you trolling high schools?????

That IS A PASTE JOB!

Warren, more great shots!

After I saw this I switched over to my desktop.Bigger better monitor.
I see what you mean.

He will have a long winter to perfect it.:)

Ron61 09-22-2006 08:06 AM

:)

Now that Warren has been banned from the high schools, he is going to have to really get the cut and paste down well to get the girls back into the picture.

Ron :p

OK ... went to the airport and then decided to forget going on the trip ...

Ron61 09-22-2006 08:56 AM

Warren,

Now that was good. Are you going to issue an official apology like the Pope has? I am sure that you must have offended at least one million Arabs with that picture.

Ron

flipper35 09-22-2006 09:59 AM

Lowest price for high test I have seen is down to $2.89. Dropping quickly since it was over $3.00 for regular at the beginning of the week. I suppose this would be a good excuse to go drive, to go get gas while I can afford it. Besides, Em took the windex and cleaned the window and all the chrome for me. I can't NOT reward her for that, can I?

wtm442 09-22-2006 10:40 AM

Its up to 67 ºF and going to 70 ºF this afternoon. I could go for my 9th ride in 9 days, or I could plant some of the hardy mums out front.

Guess what I'm going to do this afternoon/evening????

Take a nap? NNNNNNNNAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

trularin 09-22-2006 11:03 AM

Excellent pic Warren. LMAO!!!

wtm442 09-22-2006 12:03 PM

LMAO2. That's why I posted it.

OK, the corned beef is starting to cook, and it will take about 3 hours before I can add the veggies. What should I do? Nap? Pay bills? Plant mums? Clean out garage? Take screens off back porch and put on the storm windows? Go for a ride? Guess what? BBBBBBYyyyyyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeee

wtm442 09-22-2006 03:35 PM

Just put in the potatoes and veggies. Have an hour to kill.

Nine rides in nine days. Gotta keep buying that cheap gas! Ride today was different. I went north into Dorchester and South Boston. Here are some pics from UMass Boston campus and a beach road in Dorchester.
