That is a great song !

My stockbroker went to high school with the owners of this business. She passed this info onto me yesterday. Surprised she wasn't in the video shootin' hogs too.

I like the original and the remake of that song by 5 finger death punch. A little more of a heavy metal version.

I would love to do the helo hunt one day but for now it's out of my price range.

Fred,

If I could afford it I would try it. I think it would be a lot of fun doing that and it would also be doing a service that needs to be done. It is a lot safer than hunting Kodiak Bears on Kodiak Island in Alaska. I have been watching that show Hunter and one guy was almost killed by a big bear. Those things are mean up there.

Hey Fred & Joe,

Anything new going on with you two? Joe how is the place coming along now? You must have the bigger part of it finished. Fred do you still ride your motorcycle any? It is to hot here to do much and they are trying to keep people out of the trails and canyons because of the fire danger. So far we have just had 7 small ones but sooner or later I fear one of the is going to get into the canyons and brush.

Yeah I can say that I got most of my projects done. We have 18 chickens and should start getting eggs soon. Nothing much new. Just trying to take it day by day.

Oh I am very happy with the progress I made and am looking forward to slowing down and enjoying this summer more than last year. Garden is producing well so far and my Step Son will be home on leave in a few weeks for the first time since his deployment to Iraq 2 years ago. Looking forward to some relaxing fun days with him and just enjoying the country in general.

Hey Joe, that is great that he will be home on leave. And it is time that you get a chance to sit back and enjoy the hard work you have put in. Just have some fun for a change and enjoy life.

Now 10 days is a real nice visit.

Got any plans to use his help while he's there ? Don't think I could pass up the chance to have a young strong guy to help out. He's liable to enjoy it.
My son is here close by. I am very glad he enjoys working on the ranch with me. He says it helps him unwind after being in a office all week.

He is a city boy and has never really worked a farm. There will be plenty for us to do, but no big projects are getting done. Maybe build my workbench I keep pushing back.

Joe,

City boy or nto I am sure that he will enjoy the laid back atmosphere at your place and will be happy to relax for a few days.

Ron,
I got the notificaiton on your post, but apparently it was lost with the database issue. No big plans for me this year. Hanging out with friends, a little target practice, maybe some off road fun, and some grilled meat. Not much more.

Joe,

I figured it might not post as the data base error happened while I was waiting for it to do something. I am staying close to home also as it is hot here and the fire danger is to much to get out in the canyons and do anything. But they are still planning on their big fireworks shows. Stupid.
