Is that MicroSoft Paint???

wtm442 09-22-2006 05:24 PM

Nope - that's a gas tank by Rte 95 in south Boston. It's about 5 miles from my house.

I tried to get really close and take a picture, but ever since 9/11 the increased security has that site covered. They told me to turn around. No pictures.

I like that...Have not seen Jamo post in this forum in months and a new girl post and he is mister helpful! LOL

hey,littlecobra 09-22-2006 09:20 PM

I'm not sure I've ever seen Jamo post in this thread....

Anyway, I think 'Sparky' is a guy....

cutie girl advertising his t-shirts IS a girl....

Ron61 09-23-2006 05:24 AM

:)

I think I remember him posting a couple of times before. Maybe back before the crash that wiped out his posts in here. If we get more girls posting we may see more of him from time to time, but he and CW are so busy trying to read all of the posts and be sure no one is acting like a child they don't have a lot of time for trivial posts. :)

Ron :p

:(

Darn. Saturday and the wind is still blowing hard. It has blown for the last three days and nights. They have a small car show in Anderson, a 20 minute drive, but my sinuses are just driving me wild and I need to stay out of the wind. A few cars for sale that I wanted to look at.

Raining like Noah is getting ready to set sail.

What a weekend.

wtm442 09-23-2006 06:17 PM

Rained this morning but stopped about noon. Cloudy and damp this afternoon, but I kept my streak alive.

Ten days ... ten rides

Picture with the destroyer USS Salem in the background. Docked at the Fore River Shipyard where it was built. About 6 miles from my house. Enough firepower to make even Tru go fast! :3DSMILE: :3DSMILE: :3DSMILE: :3DSMILE:

Supposed to rain all day tomorrow! UUUGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Ron61 09-24-2006 04:53 AM

Warren,

Nice picture and I like the destroyer in the background. The wind is still blowing here and has not stopped for days. My throat is really sore from the sinuses draining down into it and I am tired of wind. Never even tried to go down to the car show yesterday an my eyes just run like mad with all of the dust and smoke flying around. And I have to take care of my youngest little dog. He hooked a toe nail on his right front paw on something Friday and tore it almost out. Had to take him, to the vet and have it completely removed and of course he is hobbling around with that bandage and the real soreness set in yesterday. I will call tomorrow and see if they want to remove it then or Tuesday. He told me that I could do it but the way I shake from my nerves I am afraid I would hurt him trying to hold him still and cut the tape that holds the main bandage. Plus they can look at the foot and see that is is healing ok. I hate making so many trips to Redding but this is for a good cause. :(

Front moved in last night. What a rough night.

I think I can get two more trees in with all the other cutting I have to do.

You all have a good day.

:D

hey,littlecobra 09-24-2006 06:11 AM

Went out for our anniversary last night. :) Nice dinner with some friends. Weather is ok. A bit windy, but only in the high 90's, and the nights are cooling off nicely.
Tru- you got the deck finished yet???
Ron- sorry about your little dogs toenail! poor little guy. He'll be alright.

Going to church, then lunch, then nap, then Social Studies project for 4th grader, then picnic at 5 for #4's 'class picnic' for first graders. (so all the parents can get to know each other). It's at a park 5 minutes from us. That's good!
#3 is having a bowling party for 8 girls this Friday night/spend the night. David will be gone for the weekend, so sounds like fun, huh???

Pepe has been asked to be in part of the marketing package for the school's annual auction. The 'theme' is Route 66, so my cool car(s) fit right in. I'll keep ya'll posted and post pics if it all comes about. :)

seeya!
K

Ron61 09-24-2006 06:40 AM

Tru cutting trees and Kristen resting and having a ball this weekend. Boy do you two have it made. The Route 66 thing sounds interesting and your cars will fit right in with it. Have a lot of fun. :)

Ron :p :p

we DO peek in here now and then....but we both know this chat crew does a good job and is pretty self-moderating. ;)

wtm442 09-24-2006 02:35 PM

Ron - hope your puppy gets better. Reminds me of my brother-in-law a couple of years ago. He had this really bad foot fungus and they had to pull out all of his toenails.

Yooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww Makes me squirm just thinking about it.

My streak continues .. day 11 ... eleven rides. I went out and decided to pick up a few things at the supermarket. I spent $173. That was bad enough .. but everything fit into the trunk with room to spare.

A local gas station with regular at $2.29. Think I'll drive some more while gas is cheap :p :p :p :p

Here's a pic with Boston skyline in the distance.
http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...m/DSCN2075.JPG

Just started to rain a little so it cut my ride off a little.

trularin 09-24-2006 03:06 PM

Gas is $2.10. I had to fill two trucks up.

Cut five trees, two of which fell into the pasture.

Well, I will be posting the trans-swap after I get it done.

You all need to look at my toploader on ebay. :D :D
